St. Ignace / Mackinac Island KOA Holiday General Information

Camp Store Hours are from 8AM to 8PM from Memorial Day through Labor Day, and on busy days we will remain open till 9 or 10PM.
During the Spring and Fall Seasons, the camp store is open from 8:30AM to 5:30PM.

In 2021, we added a Pavilion, remodeled the mini golf, added three new large deluxe cabins, five deluxe patio RV sites, four premium tent sites, improved wifi coverage.
For 2022, we plan to add a few more amenities that are in the works. The pool will be replaced with amenities for kids as well as adults. Stay tuned for more updates on this!
For 2023, we added an additional Deluxe Cabin (now we have a variety of 6 in total), 2 DELUXE Glamping Tents, 2 Glamping Tents, JUMPING PILLOW, Basketball (half) Court.

RV and Tent sites:

No outside firewood please!
During store hours, you can purchase firewood at the store and it will be delivered directly to your site.

During store hours, you can purchase ice at the store.
For after hours, we have a honor system and you can find the ice and a payment deposit box outside the store.

We have a K9 park for our furry guests to spend a little time off leash!

Visitors must stop at office.
No night stays after 10 pm.

Buy your Ferry tickets (Sheplers or Mackinac Island Ferry Company "Starline") at DISCOUNTED rates, cheaper than buying at the dock or even online from the Ferry companies.  
Avoid long lines at the ferry: You can buy Sheplers or Mackinac Island Ferry Company "Starlines" ferry tickets at our store, AND also use the FREE shuttle to the ferry provided by the ferry company. 
Once you are ready to go, you can call the shuttle service number or inform our front desk and we will be happy to schedule it for you.

Make your online reservations anytime, day or night, at https://koa.com/campgrounds/st-ignace/  You will receive an email confirmation from us once your reservation is complete.  Additionally, you can now reserve a select site at the time of your reservation, for a fee.

DEPOSIT
To guarantee your booking, a deposit approximately equal to your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation.

CANCELLATION / MODIFICATION
If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so within your cancellation window. A $10 cancellation fee will be deducted from your deposit.

CANCELLATION NOTIFICATION WINDOWS
RV & Tent Sites: Cancellation notice by 3PM, 48 hours prior to your stay is required. 
Glamping Tents & Kamping Kabins: 7 days cancellation notice required. 
Deluxe Cabins: 14 days cancellation notice required. 

Reservations made after these deadlines require non-refundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of the deposit. Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events.

Please note : No refunds for cancellation due to weather or early departures!

This is a family campground. Please respect privacy of others.
Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 11 pm to 7 am.
Violation may result in eviction from the park. No refunds will be issued.

St. Ignace/Mackinac Island KOA follows the current executive order in Michigan.  Currently, masks are not required and guests are reminded to practice good hygiene habit of washing your hands frequently, covering your mouth with your elbow and practicing social distancing.

Mackinac Recreations LLC purchased this campground in 2017. Since then, we have been making several improvements and adding amenities and accommodations. We upgraded 90 sites to 50-Amp, added deluxe cabins, added patio sites, improved Wi-Fi network, improved camping cabin amenities, added digital cable TV for 75 sites, renovated the bathhouses, store, office, and game room.
In 2021, we updated our mini golf and added a Pavilion. In 2022, we added Glamping tents, jumping pillow and basket ball court. In 2023 we added an additional Deluxe Cabin - making 6 in total!

We are excited to make this campground a top choice for campers visiting Mackinac Island and Upper Peninsula. We look forward to your stay!
