Came in late and there was heavy rains over night. Staff was busy, but efficient. All went well.

The campground is nice. The staff were great. Our issue is the site we had. Not level. Very narrow. Our awning hung into neighbors site. Very wet in the back where we were supposed to sit. After walking the campground we saw that it was nice. DO NOT RESERVE SITES 5 - 7. We’re were late to reserve so we got the poor site but made the best of it.

We had an excellent stay at St. Ignace KOA. Clean campsites (Site #15 Full Hook-up) We are at 28 Ft, and that would be about it for that site. Excellent comminucation via text message about activities, store hours, food truck hours, last calls for wood and ice. It was nice to be made aware of those items. Bathrooms were always clean ! Thank you for a great week.

We had an unexpected truck issue during our stay at the St. Ignace KOA and ended up needing to stay an extra night. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating—they found us a new site to extend our stay and even came by to walk our dog while we were away dealing with repairs. In a stressful situation, their support and hospitality made all the difference. We are so gra

Very helpful people at front desk. In great area away from all the hotels but still easy to get to St Ignace. Shuttle comes here for the Ferries. Clean and well kept. I enjoyed my stay.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean and well maintained, and we loved the concrete pads with table & chairs.

Nice campground in a nice place. Good laundry. And having the shuttle pick us up at the campground is a plus.

Super close to alot of surrounding destinations. Drummond Island, Macanak Island, Soo Locks, SnowMobile Museum. Etc. We spent two weeks here over the 4th of July and enjoyed every minute. Everyone was super friendly at the KOA also. We played Cornhole a few times, and cards under their outdoor shelter. I will say if you like tv, this may not be the place. We had zero digital, and cable was on/off

Workers are friendly and helpful. Park is clean and convenient to area activities.

Thought the campground was nice. The only thing was our campsite never dried out and was very saturated (we weren't there for camping and we were gone most of the time). But overall a nice campground.

Crammed into site too small for us, no cable until they brought a cable;next to power boxes on one side with a cabin, back view glamping tents, and walking trail right beside our bedroom slide. Constant car traffic and partying behind us until after quiet time at 11pm. Staff were kind.

We had a great stay! Everyone was friendly and we appreciated the daily communications regarding "what was going on at the campground"

Sites are very narrow I measured ours and it was about 25’ it’s not the kind of campground you would want to sit out around a campfire. Our pad was not very level making it difficult to find a good spot to park. The best spot i found was between 2 trees but then I couldn’t open my awning all the way. I do have to compliment the staff they were very professional and helpful.

Nice place! The campsites closer to the office were pristine. We camped in sites 144 and 145, furthest away at the back of the campground, they were not as nice and well kept. I’ve been camping since 1971 so this didn’t bother me much as that’s what camping is to me and I liked being back there and secluded, but if they were as nice it would have been way better. Restrooms were always cle

This was our first KOA stay in many years. The staff were really friendly. However our site was lacking a bit. We had a pull thru site with Water & Electric as the full hook up sites were all booked. We were able to get level on the gravel fairly easily. But the rest of the site left something to be desired. The grass needed mowing, The site was not level, tree roots everywhere, fire pit too close

Great campground! Staff was very helpful — helping us get dry wood for our fire! — information for the ferry. — finding batteries that fit our smoke alarm!! Easy check in. We really appreciated KOA/Scheplers providing free shuttle services!!!!

Friendly people all the way around! Check in was a breeze! Grounds people were very helpful. We really liked the communication we received from the park. The free shuttle to the ferry was a big plus!!

The food truck was a nice addition from our last visit. Breakfast sandwich was real eggs and bacon, not processed stuff you get in hotels. The campground staff is kind and the campground is clean and well maintained. This is the third time we have stayed here and we will continue to stay in the future.

My back in, patio site was perfect!! The campground is clean and very well run. It did seem strange to not have a pool—-although I know the UP only has about 3 hot days a year.

Pro: excellence location, great staff, plenty of things for kids. Con: the internet doesn’t work well, kept dropping, need to fix the few ruts in the drive.

Our main focus for our trip was to visit Mackinac Island and explore both towns on each side of the bridge. This KOA on the St. Ignace side was perfect for our adventure. The KOA is located just outside of St. Ignace off Highway 2, so adventuring out each day was convenient and simple. The staff at the campground was very courteous and professional.

Improvements are needed. We stayed in Site 123 and to be able to plug in our rig’s 35ft electric cord, had to park at the very back of the lot which was very uneven making our bottom camper step knee high. Water was located on the opposite side of the site as well so nearly didn’t have enough hose. Most campsites at the back of the campground have the same issue. However the folks were very n

The host was friendly and informative, telling us about all the things available at the Campground, the shuttle transport to the ferry and about the food truck being offered for breakfast and dinner. The food was good.

Nice campground - friendly staff. Clean park, several amenities for adults and children and pets. If in the area again, would hope to stay there.

The sites were well laid out and ours was shaded. Convenience of having Sheplers pick us up and drop us off from the Mackinac ferry was amazing. And the laundry room was clean and well kept.

Conveniently located to all attractions. Employees do a good job of keeping the place well maintained. Seems to be a lot of activities for the kids. Onsite food truck for light fair dinners and breakfast so that was convenient. Our spot (39) a little cramped as our awning over hung the sewer drain next site over. We did have the back of our MH to hang out in a secluded back yard so that was nic

Site was long enough to unhook my 45' 5th wheel and still have plenty of room for my truck in front. Site was level side to side but was high in the front but still able to level rig. The sites are gravel and there is no "porch" area, so you step off into grass that if wet makes a mess inside. Sites are fairly close but not uncomfortably close. Go to the Soo Locks and Mackinac Island.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
