Beautiful and well maintained campground in all aspects. Patio sites are great. The camp staff make sure the fire pits are cleaned out, tables washed off, patio debris blown off, and sites totally cleaned of debris before they are occupied. Restroom/shower rooms are very clean. Shuttle to Mackinac Island and ferry tickets obtainable at the office.

Our stay was perfect. We are an older couple just traveling along and St Ignace KOA was perfect. They delivered campfire wood and ice super fast. There was a storm and some small branches came down and there was a gentleman out on a golf cart picking them up right after. The park was beautiful, and the patio sites were very nice with a patio table and a nice rocking bench.

Enjoyed our stay at this KOA. Our site was in the back of campground with trees for shade. The leaves were changing and we had a great view of them from our camper. Bathhouse was right behind our site and was clean. The had a van to pick you up and take you to the ferry to mackinac island and bring you back at the end of the day. The only issue we had was that we couldn't hook up to cable.

We also stayed on Oct 6 on our way back home. Rhonda, in the office, was exceptionally helpful and very welcoming. Todd was a genius who fixed our TV so that my husband could be a happy camper and watch football! Thanks to both for making our stay with KOA so pleasant.

The office staff was extremely helpful, we wasn't crazy about our first site and they were happy to let us choose another available site. We were also able to catch a free shuttle to Mackinaw Island from the campgrounds.

Lot #1 really is not long enough for the size trailer I have. I listed it as 43' so I should have had a lot that was big enough . But there were many branches in the way which if trimmed slightly would have given sufficient room. Also, there was an apple tree on the lot with rotten apples everywhere. This should have been taken care of.

The staff was friendly and check-in was quick & easy. The women's restroom was clean and had hot water. My only complaint is that there was no lighting at the back of the building to find my way in complete darkness. I noticed there was a motion detector light at the front of the building. Some time after I found my way to and from the building in the dark, a light came on at the back.

The employees were great. They are always willing to help and give you a hand if needed. The site we were in was nice except the sewer was way to the front of the site. Took 20+ feet of sewer hose up hill. Our friends in the next site needed even more.

This was our second visit to St. Ignace KOA. Since our last visit the campground has improved remarkably in size, facilities and amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially due to the friendly, helpful staff. We will definitely return again when visitng the UP.

First off, staff was great! Only issue was with our site. Site 5 is very unlevel, very close to sites around it, and the electric and sewer are on opposite sides of the site. Almost didn't have enough extensions to make everything work.

The host/owners? were very nice and pleasant. The sites are not overly big. Tight. Our site backed right up to a tent/yurt. Luckily no one was in it. The WiFi is slow but you can use it. States there are 24 cable channels but only 3 came in majority of time with weather effecting the others. Bath house was very clean. Many places to visit from this campground. All in all it’s a nice clean campgr

We really enjoyed our stay at your KOA!! Our site was great! We had site #24 and we loved the concrete patio with a super nice table/chairs, concrete fire pit area and a nice wooden rocker. The whole property was super clean and the staff was very friendly. Thank you so much!! We will definitely be back!! �

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
