The camp is clean, well organized and cabin is great experience to stay. We made a great memorial-able time with kids while playing a golf. I would definitely recommend the KOA camp. The Arnold shuttle bus is free to pick up from the camp within 5 minutes.

We had a great experience as usual, with the exception of our check out morning, Friday, June 27th. Of course we realize this was all beyond anyone's control, crazy!! amount of water. We are thankful that we weren't still in cabin #1, as we had been the first 2 nights of our stay. Hope you all have dried out.

The staff was wonderful, there was a lot to do right at the campground, it was clean, and we had a great time. We love that it was so close to everything we wanted to do. The only thing that was bothersome was the mosquitos.

Enjoyed our time. The tent was awesome. The only thing was that the drive to the tent got more narrow the farther down we went (and our site was at the end of the drive with no easy turn around) and the sites are very close together. It's also very close to the highway and even being far back could hear the road at night. very high tourist area. Great amenities and discount tickets to the ferry.

The option to get cooked food from the store was amazing. That was honestly the best amenity from our stay. The cabin was nice and clean.

Stay was good, stayed in the new A frame sleeping cabin. The cabin as better than staying in a normal sleeping cabin. One thing that would of been nice is having a restroom closer to the new development of the A frames.

This. KOA is good for its location. There’s a shuttle that will take you to the ferry to Mackinac Island. You can get discounted tickets for the ferry in the KOA office. For Kids there is a jump pillow and the mini golf. However, the playground could use some updating. We were a bit disappointed that there was no pool. Staff are friendly and the campground is overall clean.

This was a nice campground overall. Friendly staff! The cabins are new and have all the comforts of home! They had very nice patio furniture but we like to bring our own chairs and have a wooden table to cook around the fire so that was a drawback. Also the playground structure was covered in spiderwebs which made play hard for my youngest.

Probably the best KOA I’ve stayed at. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Love the activities offered and the food truck is a great idea. Had breakfast sandwiches there which were perfect. We stayed at a cabin which was perfect for our girls trip. Has everything we needed. Thanks for a great stay!

Cabin was very nice, clean, quite. We found a couple of blooming trilliums in the forest near the cabin. Showers were nearby. Drinking/cooking water was nearby.

The cabin was fantastic! The staff that we met in the office were very helpful and kind. However, there was a broken water line just outside our cabin and maintenance was there working on it really late Saturday evening. Then Sunday morning around 9:00 maintenance walked across our porch which sounded like someone knocking. It woke us up and my girlfriend was very concerned.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was very clean and well maintained. My kids enjoyed all the activities offered. After a long drive in, they were able to get us in. I loved the wilderness woodsy area around the cabins.

Cabin DK3 was absolutely wonderful. Clean, well decorated and everything looked new and recently installed. The towels, cookware, and bedding were very welcoming and clean. The porch is huge, the firepit and outdoor furniture are clean and sturdy. The staff of the KOA are friendly beyond belief, I really felt welcome. I am running out of room, this KOA was great, I definitely recommend.

Love the cabin and campgrounds! I dropped something that went under the bed and noticed a lot of dust and hair that had not been cleaned for a while so would recommend swifter be used to clean under the bed. I would absolutely stay there again!

We always choose this KOA when traveling to the Upper Peninsula. We arrived after the office was closed and they had a very easy late check-in process. The staff is friendly and the grounds are nice. Close to the bridge, shopping, and exploring wildlife!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
