Family vacation. I would highly recommend this camp ground. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I loved how they delivered your firewood and ice. The snack shack was an awesome little place. They even delivered your food if you wanted them too. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Thanks so much for making our stay so great!!

It was great. Though my daughter did find a bottle of personal lubricant under one of the bed. It was a great stay even with losing power in to middle of the night. We were happy to have a solid roof over our heads during the thunder storms and heavy rain.

The staff was awesome! They were so friendly and helpful. We loved our Deluxe Cabin (we had friends in an RV close by as well). However, I was surprised at the "high density" of the campground in terms of how close everyone was to each other. We had just come from Door County, WI which was much more spread out so that's what I was expecting. The food truck was fabulous for breakfast!

I asked for handicapped accessible. While a few stairs were ok the bath had no grab bars. The table & stools are impractical & unusable. Sofa/futon was uncomfortable as it was broke down. Otherwise it was clean and maintained. Breakfast burritos from food truck were delicious!

Park is very clean, peaceful and quiet (except for the highway out front). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the park.

Really appreciated the ferry service to Mackinac Island. Nice clean restrooms and convenient food cart-style restaurant with delicious options, even for a vegetarian. Glamping tents are spacious and airy. Only downside was that there’s no way to secure the front flaps, so our dogs had to be tied up in the tent, even at night. Making the tents escape-proof iwould be an improvement.

Our 2nd time staying this season. There was a small issue with check in, but Olivia in the office took care of it with a smile. Clean, quiet campground in the middle of everything. Especially loved the food truck option. With Ryan as the leader/main cook, he's really elevated the menu with the addition of bacon jam (his own recipe, he said!) Would stay again.

This is a nice little spot near many of the UP's beautiful sights. The spaces between rigs are quite close together. I wish they would create more room. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest, but it's also peak season. I think having them cleaned more often during this busy time would help. If you have an EV, good luck getting power. I would probably avoid using them again for that reason alone.

We stayed in a rustic cabin and it was just what we needed. Clean facilities, nice staff, secluded space. The only downfall was the lack of wi-fi/internet. It was available at other spaces in the campground but not in the cabin at all.

We had a fantastic stay in one of the glamping cabins. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and well-kept, and the patio area for our cabin was perfect. The KampK9 area for dogs was a nice size and also clean. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!

Our cabin was clean and well supplied. The campground was beautifully maintained. The staff was delightful and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. My kids absolutely loved it. The mini golf, gaga ball, and game rooms were a big hit with them. We also loved our deck and outdoor space at DK5. We hope to return again!

The glamping tent was nice had a patio table a picnic table and a food table out side inside has a queen bed a pull out futon and twin bunk beds we slept 4 (2+2) adults and 2 kids comfortably. We enjoyed our stay and the kids loved the amenities.

The new cabins are great! We loved the AC and having a mini fridge. My only complaint is parking can get so tight with the yurts next door and it being a dead end on that road. Not really a big deal but worth a mention.

We were planning to tent camp and upon arriving, our area was quite muddy. We opted to ask for cabin availability and were very happy with the upgrade. They were very comfortable and our family really enjoyed our stay. We would definitely recommend.

We had a great stay. Facilities were very good, staff very helpful. My only concern is that the top bunks do not have guardrails. My daughter has fallen out of a top bunk before, so we moved the mattress down to have her sleep on the floor as the bottom two bunks were used by our other children. I feel this is an unnecessary safety hazard.

We stay July 10 through the 13 in the brand new cabin 301. Top notch. Very clean! Only suggestion I have our a bigger TV and hooks to hang your keys on. Also more WiFi access out there. Bathrooms are very clean.

Amazing! The staff was very nice and quick to respond and deliver items, great service. The campground is well-kept and our cabin very clean. The only issue was the WiFi was spotty. It wouldn’t be an issue normally but my husband had to work at times and this was a challenge.

We stayed in a cabin. It was clean and well equipped with plenty of room. The grandson had plenty of things to do. The food trailer was excellent. Pam made us breakfast burritos that I recommend. The rest of the crew were very nice and pleasant to talk to. The grounds were nice and clean. I recommend this KOA. We will be back.

The camp is clean, well organized and cabin is great experience to stay. We made a great memorial-able time with kids while playing a golf. I would definitely recommend the KOA camp. The Arnold shuttle bus is free to pick up from the camp within 5 minutes.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
