We had reserved two sights side by side with shade, and close the the bathroom. When we arrived we were told that we were upgraded to two "nicer" sights without any shade and further from the bathrooms. For this trip I was looking forward to some cooler upper peninsula weather, it didn't happen and the lack of shade made it worse.

Very easy in and out. Level sites. The staff was VERY helpful! Enjoyed the convenience of the shuttle to and from the boat to Mackinaw Island.

The rv site itself was great. The bathhouse and restrooms were absolutely atrocious. For them to be closed for 2 hours a day to be "cleaned" is an absolute crime. Even after a complaint, and alleged "deep clean" they were disgusting. I will NEVER stay here again.

Just an overnight stay but disappointed that in all the sites that looked available ours was directly behind the dumping station. The bathroom was quite dirty and muddy just several hours after it was cleaned.

Our 2nd time staying this season. There was a small issue with check in, but Olivia in the office took care of it with a smile. Clean, quiet campground in the middle of everything. Especially loved the food truck option. With Ryan as the leader/main cook, he's really elevated the menu with the addition of bacon jam (his own recipe, he said!) Would stay again.

Serene camping! The bus shuttle to the dock was a wonderful bonus! If the owners can work on increasing the internet signal, I'm sure they would hear less complaining. We were in the back corner near a tower and thought it would be awesome, however once everyone got on in the evening, even we had a hard time staying online to make plans for the following day.

We asked a lot of these folks; we had to change our reservation, add a day, drop a day due to family issues at home, the folks at the desk were fantastic in managing that and placing us well. This is one of the most attractive KOAs we have ever seen. Great service and management. We showed our site to our friends and they were impressed. Will tell others! Thank you, St Ignace KOA!

Our stay was great! The employees and managers were so kind and helpful and our site was beautiful and peaceful. The only issue was that they had to turn off the water for a couple hours to fix an issue. According to one of our friends who has stayed here before, the same thing happened to them. Sounds like they need to fix the water lines. Again, the staff was AMAZING!

Staff was very friendly. Informed us of a problem that they were experiencing and gave us the information on how long it would be before it was fixed. The problem was fixed well before the time they told us and we were given the instructions on what to do next.

The park was pretty basic for a KOA Holiday. We liked our site tho it was small. Staff were very nice and helpful.

The site we were initially assigned was not possible to level on. Olivia assisted us to locate one that was better. However, after walking around the park, I noticed very few of the sites were level, all had some sort of slant. For those of us without levelers on our rigs, this makes "level" critical.

This is a nice little spot near many of the UP's beautiful sights. The spaces between rigs are quite close together. I wish they would create more room. The bathrooms weren't the cleanest, but it's also peak season. I think having them cleaned more often during this busy time would help. If you have an EV, good luck getting power. I would probably avoid using them again for that reason alone.

We stayed in a rustic cabin and it was just what we needed. Clean facilities, nice staff, secluded space. The only downfall was the lack of wi-fi/internet. It was available at other spaces in the campground but not in the cabin at all.

The front office staff was great. Very customer oriented. Thats unfortunately where it ended. When we booked the site good maps shows what looks like a fairly new pool and there is no pool. The water was shut off for the bulk of the evening. Our camper was water site so we had no water for dinner. When dumping tanks I used the un labeled hose an old man yelled it wasn’t a flush shook his head at

We had a fantastic stay in one of the glamping cabins. The staff is so friendly and helpful, the facilities are clean and well-kept, and the patio area for our cabin was perfect. The KampK9 area for dogs was a nice size and also clean. I can't wait to come back and stay here again!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
