Longtime members of KOA, first time visiting this location. Very impressed with the staff for their professionalism, helpfulness, and personality! Our grandsons (9 & 7) raved about the amenities, the Mighty Mack Shack, and especially the showers!! Thanks for a memorable vacation!!

Features of the camp are many: we wanted to see Mackinac Island, and how we are going to the upper Peninsula. This was a great stop off location. I was able to get my wash done full service sites, friendly personnell, great access to the ferries and a day trip to Mackinac Island.

Staff was nice on the phone and upon check in however, bathrooms were vandalized 2 nights in a row making them unusable (in my opinion) as they were TP’d and toilets filled with TP, overflowing and mosquitoes by the thousands. I asked for a partial refund due to unacceptable/unavailable amenities (toilets and showers) but was told no refunds! This is now our 3rd bad experience at a KOA, we’re

Quiet, great patio, hook ups, location, WiFi worked well for me to work for the week. Was nice to walk around and wooded areas were very clean. Bathrooms and showers clean as well

Although it was just an overnight stay to break up our drive home, we stay overnight near the bridge several times a season. This is a favorite, clean and quiet campground.

Nice-quiet location. We purchased tickets for the ferry when we checked in. When we arrived at the ferry we were told it was not running that day but we would take the slower- cheaper ferry and to get a refund from the KOA. I was told back at the KOA that they have no way of knowing which ferry’s are running and would not refund our $24. No attempt to make this right. Poor customer service.

Nice KOA. Need to fix drive coming in and out of the park…maybe throw some gravel in your potholes? A rv parks entrance should be maintained. We were in a motorhome and there were so many potholes going in and out it was terrible. We managed to dodge around them in our car…not so lucky in the motorhome.

We stayed in one of the new cabins. It was really lovely! There was cable and internet available, the bathrooms weren't too far of a walk. The A/C worked great, mini fridge and microwave, grill, firepit, table outside. Everything was clean and great! Only thing I could recommend is umbrellas for the outdoor tables. We didn't realize it was something we might have needed

We loved our stay! We appreciated that we only had 2 "neighbors" our entire stay, it was peaceful. I loved that there were 3 showers available & they were within walking distance of our campsite. I liked the fact that they'd deliver wood & other supplies. What we didn't like was that there was no pool. Huge bummer. Also-if you add a ramp or something similar in the dog park, that would be fantasti

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was able to choose the site that worked best for me. The park is clean and well layed out. The site was long enough that I didn't need to unhook even at 70ft trick and coach. You can order from the food cart and they deliver!!

Clean campground with very nice bathrooms. Very much enjoyed our stay there. Staff was friendly and responsive. We purchased all of our tickets to Mackinaw Island from the campground. The shuttle picks you up right in front of the office, and drops you AT YOUR CAMPSITE! Wowzers! Definitely a keeper KOA!

Family vacation. I would highly recommend this camp ground. Staff was very helpful and friendly. I loved how they delivered your firewood and ice. The snack shack was an awesome little place. They even delivered your food if you wanted them too. We stayed in one of the cabins. It was very comfortable and had everything you needed. Thanks so much for making our stay so great!!

This place was wonderful. The campground was not overly loud, but instead it was very peaceful. Everything was clean. The bathrooms and showers were kept well and were actually very nice. The staff were very friendly. Our stay was an absolute A+.

It was great. Though my daughter did find a bottle of personal lubricant under one of the bed. It was a great stay even with losing power in to middle of the night. We were happy to have a solid roof over our heads during the thunder storms and heavy rain.

The staff was awesome! They were so friendly and helpful. We loved our Deluxe Cabin (we had friends in an RV close by as well). However, I was surprised at the "high density" of the campground in terms of how close everyone was to each other. We had just come from Door County, WI which was much more spread out so that's what I was expecting. The food truck was fabulous for breakfast!

We enjoyed our stay..it is a nice place for kids too . We had a back in site and it was not very level so we had to do a little extra work.....so that's why we rated a 4.

I asked for handicapped accessible. While a few stairs were ok the bath had no grab bars. The table & stools are impractical & unusable. Sofa/futon was uncomfortable as it was broke down. Otherwise it was clean and maintained. Breakfast burritos from food truck were delicious!

Really appreciated the ferry service to Mackinac Island. Nice clean restrooms and convenient food cart-style restaurant with delicious options, even for a vegetarian. Glamping tents are spacious and airy. Only downside was that there’s no way to secure the front flaps, so our dogs had to be tied up in the tent, even at night. Making the tents escape-proof iwould be an improvement.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
