The free shuttle to the ferry is why I would recommend this place. Very thoughtful with people with big RV’s and don’t have to pay for parking.

Beautiful park! Well maintained, courteous employees from front office to out on the grounds. Stayed here for Mackinac Island. You can buy ferry tickets at the office and have a shuttle pick you up and bring you back so that in itself saves you $$ for parking. Only downside was the cable was spotty did not work at my site but did at my brothers next to me. That’s ok because I didn’t come for T

Great campground. Beautiful space. Quiet area. Very clean. Definitely out of the way of anything so if you don't have a car, there isn't anywhere to go. The office did give us a phone number for a family rideshare in the area, but they never called back.

We had a GREAT TIME!! Stayed at one of the Deluxe Cabins. It was Fantastic. Clean, comfy and perfect. We had a mini family reunion and everything was perfect. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. We never had a problem. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone. The leaves are changing and the weather was perfect. We had an Amazing reunion. Thank You

Well maintained level sites. Mackinac ferry shuttle picks up at the campground which is great as it saves on parking fees.

The driveway into the campground is full of potholes. When I asked the staff about fixing the road I was told they keep it that way to slow traffic down. Absolutely ridiculous. We experienced a power outage for a few of the campsites this power outage blew my search protector. It is junk now. The trees need trimming pulling out of our pull through site scrape tree branches on RV.

Sorry you experienced a power outage while staying with us. The power outage was not just the KOA. The electric company stated many homes and businesses were without power. Thank goodness you had a surge protector. We have since done repairs on the potholes to our park.

Great service at the front desk! She even sent texts when we had a few packages arrive. She was also very helpful about our ferry trip to Mackinac Island. Clean facilities. Our site had plenty of gravel with a concrete side pad. The table and chairs were in excellent condition. We would definitely recommend staying here!

This Campground was fantastic. Very clean and lots of amenities. Rhonda and Todd were so helpful. They recommended great places to eat , helped us get cable hooked up in our motorhome and also helped with our car dolly when it was time to leave. We had a wonderful couple of days and will certainly stay here again on our next trip to Mackinac Island!

We stayed on lot 14 this year and it was very uneven compared to several others we have stay on at this same KOA . We had to raise one side quite a bit, which put the steps into the camper pretty high. Luckily though, I had an extra step to use. Other than that our stay was as pleasant as always.

We really enjoyed the updated patio site. Park is very clean and orderly. Hosts are cordial and customer-friendly. Probably the best KOA that we’ve visited.

Beautifully maintained park with tons of amenities for kids. The bathrooms were spotless. Easy access to Shepplers Ferry for Mackinaw Island via a free shuttle. Friendly staff and great laundry room. Highly recommended!

We were only here for one night in our motorhome. Our pull-through site was long enough for us not to have to unhook our tow vehicle. We only connected the electric, and we did not use the water or sewer. It rained on and off while we were at the KOA. Lots of potholes in the entrance/exit. We would stay again if in the area.

Loud neighbors, charged us for a damaged television that we did not even turn on, did not greet us when entering the gift shop, workers driving more than 7 mph on the campsite roads in their gators. Will never come back to this campsite again!

I thought for the cost more would be available. We stayed two months and just needed couple more weeks and the cost was crazy. Went to another one got a great deal because it was sept and things had slowed down. Also the restaurant rhey said was available was hardly ever open. Then she made us feel like it was our fault she did not write down for check lots of spaces left. Charged for Monday left

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
