Deluxe Cabin 1 was plenty roomy for us, more things provided than we expected (dishes, utensils, etc). Nice location, we would stay here again. Campgrounds are nicely maintained and staff is great!

I was excited for our stay after experience great interactions with the staff during our previous stays. It was today that I found out that staff under the current management was let go who are highly involved in customer satisfaction! So disappointed and as a local do not pla on going back unless under different management for this location. Maintaince was a joke from main manager on location. !

Although we only stayed here one night, we found it to be perhaps one of the nicest KOAs we have stayed in with spacious sites, clean and well managed facilities and good location.

We are 2 seniors in site #2 in a 20 ft travel trailer. The site was large and grassy with a gravel pad. The park was very well cared for with a big playground and dog area, not that we have either, but would be great for families. The wash rooms are clean and modern. Staff were friendly and helpful. If road noise bothers you this might not be ideal.

I regret paying extra for a raised tent site- it was very hard packed dirt, with very little vegetation shade, it was at the confluence of 3 roadways which ensured noise, headlights and visits by dog owners on a pee/poop run. Also I-75 noise. The property seems oriented almost solely to accommodate RV owners, so I recommend using a Kabin when going there but not using the raised tent site.

We asked a huge favor of the folks in the office and the took care of us with no issues. They were great. Bathrooms were also very clean and nice.

We had a very nice stay at the St Ignace KOA. The staff was friendly. The lots were spacious and well maintained. The bathrooms were clean. A great place to use as a pivot to other tourist areas.

Very nice cabin except for a significant gnat infestation that made the bathroom nearly unusable several evenings. The whole cabin was swarmed upon opening the bathroom door. The ladies public restroom counter was covered in dead gnats every morning, and speaking to other campers they were experiencing the same problem at various locations throughout the park. Polite and efficient office staff.

We had a wonderful time as usual. The park is clean, the kids enjoyed the playground, bouncing pad, and putt putt. The bathrooms are very clean, the showers are hot and have great water pressure. The only suggestion we had was if there could be some walk through spots so the people in the back don't need to walk all the way around to get to the bathrooms. Hope to be back next year!

It was a great stay! We came in for the Bridge Walk. The only thing I can think of is to maybe have some marked trail or path to the restrooms. We won't cut through people's sites and the walk (especially for physically challenged campers) can be a little long following the road. I have friends coming up at the end of the month. :)

I had an excellent stay! The front desk ladies were informative, friendly & courteous. Check in was quick & efficient and well explained. The park was clean. The store, the campsite and the bathrooms were all in great shape. I especially liked the firewood delivery right to my site, what a nice touch. I'd definitely stay here again! We stayed 2 nights. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Bathrooms were spotless. Our site was a bit unlevel, but easily taken care of with a set of blocks. Lots of activities for kids and adults…no pool, but no problem. We’ll be back again.

I come every year and the KOA never disappoints. Always clean showers and restrooms, hot water. Very clean park. Staff is always nice. I will definitely be back.

Park was quite nice but a lot of car noise and people in and out of their campers until 11:30 at night and since our site was on the corner we heard them all. Not KOA’s fault just inconsiderate people

Helpful young lady at the checkin and the couple that do maintenance were extremely friendly. Campgrounds were extremely clean and well organized. Proximity to attractions was spot on

The site was very loud with all the dogs present, one dog barked til 2 am. We ended up leaving a day early because of the noise. The kids did enjoy the activities.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
