Great stay. The staff was super friendly, firewood was decent quality. The campsite was a little challenging with the waste hookup so far from the water hookup. I had to buy an extra 10 ft of waste hose to make it work. The road noise was a bit more than I expected, which made sitting out at the campsite not as relaxing in the evening as I had hoped.

We had an awesome stay! We especially appreciated that the Shepler’s shuttle comes to the campground. We were able to have a delightful day on the Island and leave our rig hooked up at the campground. 100% will be repeating this experience.

We were cheerfully welcomed by Rhonda when we arrived. It was near then end of the season, we were given our choice of sites, nice long and level pull thru sites with water and electric. There were many shaded sites, we picked a clear site. We didn't use the bath house, but the park was clean and well maintained. There is easy access off the highway and where we were located it was very quiet.

Rhonda was great and helped us arrange our trip to Mackinac Island. Strange set up at the site because of the location of the electrical pedestal and sewer hook up.

Beautiful, clean campground with many niceties and an efficient curious staff.

We had a great stay. The utilities for our full hook up pull thru were poorly located. I had to use 40 ft. of sewer hose to reach the connection or other configuration s to reach the other utilities. I understand that a lot of the koa's were designed years ago and don't necessarily accommodate the new rv's as easily. No fault of the park owners. I would stay here again. Good location.

Staff was very helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Sites are very unlevel and electric is all the way at the back of the pull throughs. So if you are a big motorhome towing there is a good chance you will have to disconnect the toad to be able to plug in the rv

Stayed in clean Deluxe cabin. Beds comfortable. Convenient to get tickets & free shuttle to the ferry. Staff was pleasant. This felt more like a KOA Journey than a Holiday location. Sites & cabins are VERY close together. Putt-putt in need of updating. Internet was spotty at best. Snack bar not open while we were there. Wish camp "store" offered more convenient grocery food type items.

Awesome campground. This is our second time staying here I love that we can bring our dog and the dog park is great. And my kids love the jumping pillow and mini golf. We plan on returning yearly.

Wonderful front desk people, everyone was super helpful and friendly. Cabin was clean and had everything we needed for a couple nights stay. Fun playground, putput and bounce pad for kiddos to play on. Laundry room was nice and easy. Only bad part was the internet connection wasn’t the greatest.

I can't believe how far you've come in 5 Years! My family and I have been staying there in October since 2020. It is the perfect end to our camping season. Keep up the amazing job you're doing!!

We stayed in Cabin 3. It was clean and everything worked well. We were close to the playground, mini golf, bathrooms, and playground. Any staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. We also utilized the game room during our stay, which was also clean and well maintained. Our kiddos are already asking to go back.

The front desk could not have been more accommodating and friendly. The husband and wife team (didn’t get their names) are a great example of how professionals should be…they represent your brand 100%

Wished your golf carts would follow speed limit!

Only thing I’d mention is more attention to women’s bathroom by cleaning and to retain the mini golf surfaces before next season. Everyone was very helpful in explaining how the ferry to town worked. Thanks, Clarence

The campground and cabin were wonderful! The staff very friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay here again. We prefer the cabin over a hotel. We came in a late in the evening and had our firewood waiting for us to start our fire. We were able to sit around the fire and plan our day trip for the next day! Very very enjoyable!!

Couple behind the desk was outstanding. I had walked up to but tickers to the island. I told her I would be back at 9. We were late and she said I already called them for you!

Every KOA I have stayed at had had great accommodations, staff, and beautiful grounds. ST. Ignace/Mackinac was no different. First class place!

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
