We've enjoyed staying at the KOA for many years. Just to see the semi's cross the Macinac bridge.

The desk clerk was very kind and helpful. Explained where everything was located. She even assisted us with our Mackinac Islandtickets and shuttle. Thank you for a great experience in St Ignace.

Nice park. Power and water hook-ups are on opposite sides of each other and farther than average from campers, glad we brought extensions. Your indoor trash cans need a good cleaning.

two years in a row, I had a reservation and both times my reservation was messed up. Once my site was not available at all and I was separated from my group. I made it work. That year I paid and reserved a specific site for reasons that would benefit a physical disability. When I arrived, I was put on a different site. I mentioned it and nothing was done about it. disappointed!

Over all good stay and experience, the only complaint I would have is the ground in and around the sites is very uneven and has many random large rocks which at times make it difficult to walk. Our site (67) had many large rocks on the gravel pad and in the grass area, and the grass area all around the camper was very very uneven, many holes and was dangerous to walk.

The tent was amazing, as always. Love the addition of the bunkbeds to the tent. Very clean. Bathrooms and showers were clean. Check in process was smooth and easy. Easy to buy and get wood and ice delivered to our site. Will be back again for sure!

Very clean and well kept. We stayed in a cabin.

From the moment we walked in we felt very well taken care of. We were given the best deal for ferry tickets to Mackinac Island, and given information about the free shuttle to/from the ferry-which we used and it worked perfectly! The sight was clean, and ready for us. This enormous KOA park is beautiful, and very nicely maintained. I would encourage anyone to stay here. Happy Camping!!

Campground was in a great location on US2. There were many fun options to do. Wifi was fixed quickly when we mentioned we could not obtain. Staff was friendly and courteous. Liked the modern resin picnic table which was clean and undamaged, the platform for our tent was clean, appreciated the outdoor sink to wash dishes, and got good use of the washing machine and dryer.

Great setting, nice hosts, convenient to everything, missed a perfect score because the shower room was cold in the morning. Cold air blowing from a heater?

Great location, very friendly staff, clean sites. We were assigned site 45. Very narrow and not level. Cabins VERY close to site. Bathrooms were clean except shower area of women's bathroom. Need to pull the mats up and get gunk off floor. Goo be Gone works pretty good. We suggest you abandon site 45.

Friendly staff & swift check in. Loved the free shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry terminal.

Nice area with fire pit and furniture. Bathrooms maintained well. Attentive and friendly staff. WiFi is poor. Full hookup locations are spread out and may require additional equipment to reach them. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would come back.

This site is very boring. The staff are not really friendly, with the exception of one who seemed to be interested in making sure the stay was good. I went to look at game room area and got bombarded like a thief at market. Never again, I will get a cabin in Mackinac City on any future visit to the area.

Awsome in every way from the time i called about getting spots in Dec for the tractor crossing ,late arrival check in and having wood put at our sites before we arrived to making reservations for next year keep up the great work

It was wonderful. Very peaceful.

The pull-thru site for 35ft Class A was grass and dirt. Under our RV was gravel. When it rained the dirt became mud. The 50-amp elec was okay if you don't mind the extension cord covered by board running across the lots and being driven over repeatedly. Water supply was ok.. No sewer connection. I requested honey wagon service just after lunch but was told they were done for the day. Not a fan.

The hostess was very welcoming, you can get shuttle service for ferry tours to Mackinac Island, The campground was very clean. Will stay here again when in the area.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.5 Stars — Great Stay at the St. Ignace KOA! I stayed at the St. Ignace KOA back in September during a cross-country motorcycle trip. Although I didn't stay in an RV or tent, I reserved one of the small cabins—and the experience was fantastic. I arrived after hours, but the check-in process couldn't have been easier. The staff left a packet with my cabin key, a map, and instructions for the next day's check-in. Super simple and appreciated after a long day on the road. The campground itself was quiet and peaceful. I stayed from Monday to Wednesday, so it wasn't overly crowded. The cabin was impressively clean, cozy, and had everything I needed. There was a small TV that struggled with signal, but honestly I didn't come here to watch TV—I spent my evenings enjoying the campfire and staring up at the incredible night sky. The stars were spectacular! One note for anyone arriving after dark: the cabin area isn't marked super clearly at night. I arrived while there was still some daylight, so it wasn't a problem. Later, when coming back from dinner, I used a blue glow stick to mark my entryway—simple fix that worked perfectly. The campground felt friendly and safe. Other campers kept to themselves but were pleasant when interactions happened. Bathrooms and showers were clean, well-maintained, and no complaints there. When checking out, there was a slight delay since staff were shorthanded and out cleaning cabins. They provide a number you can call to speed things up, but it wasn't a big issue for me—I had time. Amenities offered at this KOA include: • Basketball • Cornhole (Bags) • Ferry tickets to Mackinac Island • Free shuttle to ferry companies • Free shuttle to the casino • Game room ($) • Large Connect-Four • Laundry (paid) • Mighty Mack Snack Shack • Mini golf • Playgrounds • Firewood for sale • Volleyball Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at this KOA. Clean facilities, friendly staff, great cabins, and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again on future trips through the area.

I prefer St. Ignace over Mackinaw City always because it's more historical and vintage. The KOA is a great place to stay because it feels like a State Park but has full hookup and activities on site. They provide shuttle to the Mackinac Island ferry ride. And, they have a laundry room. And the WiFi is great.
