Exciting things are happening over at South Padre Island KOA Holiday. Construction is well under way for the removal of the two water towers on property to make room for a brand-new main building - which will house a guest laundry, bathrooms, showers, a small gathering room with a serving kitchen, and offices.
We will be sharing status and construction updates throughout the process, so stay tuned! Here's a sneak peek of what is going on...
August 2023
- The two water towers were gutted and torn down to make room for a new and improved main building.
- We have begun demo of the parking lot in the back of the campground, to make room for brand new waterfront sites!
- Our new new and improved Wi-Fi installation began today, and will hopefully be finished by the last week of September. This new system will support faster browsing and streaming!
Coming Soon
- A few of the waterfront Deluxe Cabins will be removed in mid to late September to make room for the new main building.
- Construction of the new building is set to begin in mid to late Q4 (October-December).
