The location is right next to an Interstate highway, due to highway noise I was unable to put my windows down and enjoy the evening, as well as waking me up Monday morning with excessive noise at around 6 am. Also the shower area did not have a bench or stoll to use to undress and dress... all other RV Parks I used during this trip did. The manager should go in there take a shower & figure it out.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We are next to the interstate which is why most people choose our campground, ease of off and on the interstate. We do provide hangers inside the shower along with hang one bench in each. We do apologize as sometimes guests move two into one shower for children.

Was easy to find and the people were very nice helping us to our site. The pool looked like it had recently been redone and was a nice break from the heat. Restrooms and showers were nice and clean. Only small thing is the playground needed some maintenance but based on what we saw it looks like they are working on updating and will get to that.

Our site was level and shaded. Most sites did have some shade and grass. The bathrooms were pristine. I never went in them that they were not perfectly clean. Friendly staff. Pizza was great.

The facilities are great, well maintained and clean. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Showers and bathrooms are like new. Our grandson enjoyed swimming in their pool and getting some complimentary pancakes for breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We always stay here for a night going to the Black Hills and then when returning home. We had a major tire problem, they let us park our trailer in overflow while we did a 180 mile round trip for new tires. Didn’t charge any additional. They’re the absolute best!!!!!

Very nice facility. Freeway noise can be bothersome, but overall a nice clean place. If you can, request a spot towards the rear of the grounds.

Staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the patio sites by the dump station and didn’t want to use the fire pit because of the big pine tree right next to it that had overgrown into it. Great price for the night, in fact one of the lowest of the KOA’s we have stayed at.

The employee’s were friendly and helpful but the sites are woeful. Bare ground and a little rain meant I disconnected from water and sewer in a mud mound.

Clean, but this KOA needs some landscaping or hardscaping to absorb the traffic noise from the highway. A suggestion would be rather than tell your customer to wait to hook up W/S/E until the site gets mowed, to have your maintenance crew get a copy of the day's reservations and prioritize mowing those sites before the guests arrive

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have a lawn service that comes once per week to take care of sites. Early arrivals due make lawn service challenging. We wish we could change the road noise but due to city regulations we are unable. The closeness to the interstate does make for easy travel and is how we obtain our business.

The wood requirements are ridiculous. We paid three times the amount for wood and the wood sucked. It would light up like a match stick. Also, they used to offer activities for kids. Painting, art, water balloon fights, and wagon rides. Charging $5 for a grandparent to have dinner with us is awful too. It feels like we get nickel and dime to death.

We offer Firewood for sale. Otherwise like all parks to bring in outside wood the wood must be certified kiln dried. Guest purchased outside park firewood. Activities we cancelled due to lack of registered children and lack of participation the previous year. Self guided activities were available.

We we're walk ins, got in late and left early. Paid $79.36 for a full hookup pull through for a 20' class C with a chevy spark on a tow dolly. After we left charges started showing up on my wifes credit card. An extra $6.34 and another for $5,00. Called to complain and they said $5.00 was for an extra vehical. Never charged for towed car before. Other $6.34 no one knew why. Wont stay no more.

Our rates are different on Holiday Weekends. We only have one charge for the site billed to the card on file, However we are not showing an additional charge of 6.34. Please check to make sure it was indeed our location as it could have been a store sale. IF not please call and ask for a manager.

I didn't do 1 star, which was my personal experience because I can appreciate that the facility in itself is very well equipped with the playground, security gates etc. My poor experience was all to do with staff, which while I understand that is not technically part of the facility, they are employed by the facility and the fact they allow the experience I had to happen is a reflection of them.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Management had to talk with guest over the choice of words used to threaten staff. Staff was asking guest to move a vehicle parked in a site they were escorting too. We do not allow threatening of any kind on the campground.

It was great. We had a long day on the road and were exhausted. They quickly got us to our site, where we were able to relax. They had pizza and wings delived to our site and it was great. Wonderful.

2 nights with great location. It was a tad noisy from Hwy but to be expected. Park was clean and park staff was excellent. I would highly recommend.

The staff was wonderful, very attentive to ensure that all need were met. They staff was always working to keep the campground was clean and all sites were free from any tree debris after the hellish winds that came through, out the next morning raking all the sites and picking up the debris that was all over. Would highly recommend this facility!

Great little spot to stop! Had a 1 night stay on our way across the country. Great laundry facilities. Wash was $1 dryer was $.75. Didn't have to dry twice, which was nice!! Woke up to a beautiful sunset, showered with some decent pressure (the shower heads could use a good vinegar soak to reduce some of the build up) but overall, very pleased! Would stay again!

We had planned to tent camp, but after days of storms and a dangerous heat wave, we decided at the last minute to get a pet-friendly cabin. Maddie made the entire process easy. She was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about helping us after a long day on the road. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We traveled across several states on this trip, and this stop was one of the best decisions we made. Thank you, Maddie, for making our stay such a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again
