Meet Your Hosts

The Grooms Family

We want to create memories for everyone that visits our park. We love the interaction and being part of the enthusiasm.

We started our camping adventure 2011 when we bought our first travel trailer. We were looking for an activity that we could do with our two children while creating a lifetime of memories. This is where our passion for camping grew! We loved being outdoors, participating in activities, and of course, S'mores! Soon we knew we would someday like to own our first campground.

The search didn't come easy. We looked for two years for just the right park. Having two school-aged children we were looking for a location with a good community and smaller school, while also having specific campground amenities. When we found the Sioux City North KOA, we knew we found the perfect campground to take the leap.

Since owning the park, we have continued to improve our Kamper Satisfaction Survey scores and have achieved the Founder's and President's each year. We plan to continue to add amenities including premium RV sites along with more activities for adults and children. We want our park to be a place for your family to make memories as well.

While you are here you will see James and Teresa, along with Jules and Madisen working throughout the park. When we have some time off you will find them enjoying family time together. James enjoys Off-Roading. Teresa can be found with her camera and a scrapbook.

Take time to stop by our park and say “Hello.” We would love to meet you!
