Sioux City North KOA Holiday General Information

Guests are welcome but must stop and register at the front office and pay a $5 per person/day fee for use of the facility. Each guest will be eligible to participate in any campground activity. All guests are required to leave by 10pm. Parking is limited, so at times we may need to limit the amount of extra guests on the property. Please pick up your car pass at the front office, available with paid fees.

Charging electric vehicles (EVs) at our pedestals is STRICTLY PROHIBITED as our circuitry is not rated nor intended to withstand the constant electrical draw that occurs with such use. Doing so has the potential to damage our electrical infrastructure, your vehicle or both. We respectfully ask that you refrain from plugging in. Violators will be directed to immediately unplug their vehicle, are subject to any damages and/or will be evicted without refund.  In the meantime, don't be discouraged as there Tesla charging stations open to the public within 15 miles of the campground, and we would be happy to provide directions.

Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. Play areas close at dusk.

Check-in time is 1 pm for RVs and 3 pm for all Accommodations. Check-out time is 12 pm for RV sites and 11 am for Accommodations.

RV
We do offer an early check-in between 11:00 am-1:00 pm with a $15 arrival fee if the site is available.
-Arrivals earlier than 11:00 am $25 (only if sites are available.)

We also offer a later check-out fee of $15 until 1:30 pm only if the site is not rented.
-Late check-out between 1:30 - 2:30 pm $25
-If you are in need of the site after 3 pm, a full day's stay will be added to your account. Please make advance arrangements with the front office as other registrations may be coming in the same day.

Campground Cancellation Guideline: Our park follows the KOA National Policy for Cancellations. Please note Holiday and Special events differ from the National Policy.

KOA Reservation/Cancellation Guidelines Guarantee your Campsite
To guarantee your campsite, a deposit equal to at least your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. You'll receive a confirmation email from the
campground once you complete your reservation.Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 800-562-5439 before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable.

• RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. two days before your scheduled arrival.

We allow one vehicle per site, unless the site is able to accommodate two vehicles on the gravel only. Any vehicles that are oversized or parked on the grass will be asked to move to our overflow parking. All vehicles are required to have a parking pass. One vehicle pass is allowed per site. Please note additional vehicles at the time of booking. Additional vehicles over (1) will be charged $5 per day. Parking is limited. Please try and carpool. Depending on the occupancy of the campground you may be asked to park vehicles at an additional site outside of the campground. Additional visitors will need to stop in and register at the front office, pay a $5 visitor fee per person/day and obtain a pass and wristband for activities.

During peak season (Memorial Day-Labor Day) store hours will be from 9am-9pm. Spring, Fall, and Winter hours will be posted at the Kampstore.

We welcome pets of a non-aggressive breed on RV sites.  Kamping Cabins require a pet fee of $25 per stay/max pet of 2. Our Deluxe Cabins are now pet friendly for $50 per stay/max of 1. We also offer a Kamp K-9 where your pets can roam off-leash. All other areas of the park your pet is require to be on a leash of no longer than 6 feet and with you on the other end. Dogs are not allowed to be tied up. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pets. If the site needs cleaned after your departure from pet damages a fee will be charged to your account.

Choose the option to select your specific site with KOA Select My Site! This service enables you to choose your individual site, or two or more sites together. This popular option was added due to the increased demand of our park and to meet guest's requests for this service. When making reservations, guests can use "KOA Select My Site" online, or when speaking to our local office or reservation center staff. Requests should be made at time of reservation or as early as possible. Please note: A one-time $20.00 fee applies. All requests are subject to availability and are only guaranteed when payment for this option is added to your reservation. To ensure the best camping experience possible for you, management reserves the right to make any necessary changes. (eg. flooded sites due to heavy rain or unexpected damage to site).

Tents may be placed on an RV site with paid occupants. With that, not all sites will accommodate tents so please specify when booking so we can place you in a larger site with more grassy area for tents. All occupants must be registered. For more room you may also book one of our tent sites.

Tent sites will hold 1-2 sites depending on tent sizes. Tents over 2 may require a second site.

We want to create memories for everyone that visits our park. We love the interaction and being part of the enthusiasm.

We started our camping adventure in 2011 when we bought our first travel trailer. We were looking for an activity that we could do with our two children while creating a lifetime of memories. This is where our passion for camping grew! We love being outdoors, participating in activities, and of course, making S'mores! After years of camping, we knew that this was something we wanted to do for the rest of our lives. 

The search for the perfect campground did not come easy. We wanted to find a campground with certain aspects that we could improve and or learn from. This is when we first saw the Sioux City North KOA Holiday in 2015! We knew that it needed some improving... all it needed was the Grooms family touch! 

We have worked hard to receive the President's and Founder's award each year since we took over the park! To further elevate the guest experience, we have remodeled the General Store, added 8 new Patio Sites, added an Activity Center, fully remodeled our swimming pool, added new accommodations, and also have lots of future plans!

While you are here you will see your hosts: James, Teresa, Jules, and Madisen working throughout the park. Even though we work together daily, our free time is always spent together as well!
