Many exciting attractions and activities await you in the Siouxland area and at Sioux City North KOA. Stay a day, a week, a month, or stay all season. Several of the attractions listed here can be combined into a 1-day trip. We will be glad to make recommendations, give directions or share our experiences of traveling in Siouxland based on how much time you are able to spend with us. If you want to just relax, spend the day at the campground swimming, mini-golfing or just sit under one of our many shade trees looking at the abundant flowers or surf the Internet in front of a crackling campfire. Start your visit in North Sioux at Adams Homestead and Nature Preserve, a 1500-acre park featuring one of the last free-flowing segments of the Missouri River. Established in 1872, it includes the family's original farmhouse, a historic barn and miles of hiking and biking trails.
North Sioux City is the Las Vegas of the Siouxland area, featuring more than 13 video casinos. If you love video gambling, you will love the excitement of North Sioux City.

The Siouxland area refers to a tri-state area, IA, NE, and SD. You may see all three states by visiting the War Eagle Monument. War Eagle is located in Sioux City, IA, high on one of the bluffs. As you stand in IA you may look across the Big Sioux River and see the valley of North Sioux City, SD and across the Missouri River to see South Sioux City, NE.
