We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it was wonderful. The cabin and its area were wonderfully maintained, the bed was comfortable, the ceiling fan was a great bonus.

The cabins were clean and comfy. Kid and dog friendly! The pool was warm and cleaned frequently. The pizza was delicious and great after driving and wanting a quick dinner. The lodge had great keepsakes and anything you might need during your trip. The stay was absolutely perfect for the weekend with the kids and our dog.

Been coming for over ten years and this likely will be our last. Activities have been cut for kids Pool is always almost ready Firewood restriction are not practical. Asked to buy within state and when we buy it from KOA its from Wisconsin and is some of the worst wood available Constant KOA vehicle traveling around doing chores that should be done prior to the holiday weekend

Pool was open on Saturday following rain and 60 degree weather on Friday. Our Game Room was open for self-guided family activities, gaga ball, basketball, mini golf. Firewood requirement is to be certified and kiln dried. Campground chores are completed everyday to keep the campground beautiful.

The cabin was great, facilities were clean and nice, overall a great place to stay. Only thing is you should check with your prices in store and staff. I wanted to buy a simple pack of plastic silverware marked 1.99. Gal tried to charge me 8.99 and wouldn’t change it. It literally had a tag with price. Simple fix she wouldn’t do.

We appreciated the clean cabin and cozy surroundings at Sioux City North. Their store has unique gift items and pizza. Definitely a great stop in South Dakota! We will be back!

An average stay, basic cabin (no facilities) 100 yards from the wash house. The little cube heater worked, had a warm cabin. Wash house was reasonably clean. One improvement: re-aim the TV antenna to pick up nearby Sioux City TV channels 4 and 9, providing NBC and ABC along with the Fox, CBS, and PBS already available.

The stay was easy and convenient, definitely can tell it's the start of the season and needs some spring up keep.

Thank you for your feedback! We do have many projects going on this spring including moving and tear down of our older playgrounds and enhancing our tenting area ,making them larger. While these to projects make a mess they will enhance the park come main camping season.

Good spot close to the interstate. Given a rough cabin but several other cabins were empty. Rough cabin had bunk beds even though it was known that we were just a traveling couple. Common theme among the KOAs we stayed at in this trip where an easy site was presented due to what I suspect was staff not wanting to clean a cabin for our use.

We are sorry we didn’t hit the mark on a couples cabin. As a family campground all of our cabins include bunk beds. For the value we provided what was requested. We do hope to provide couple cabins in the future.

Rented a cabin for 4 had a bed no chairs and no were to sit and watch TV. Very disappointed not like the last time we rented a cabin.

Floor plans of our studio lodges are listed within the website listings, the studio has a queen bed, two bunk beds, with a kitchen table. We do have an upgraded deluxe cabin with a couch, kitchen table, private bedroom, bunks and loft for those that require more space.

This is a lovely campground. You can have pizza delivered to your campsite, which was really nice. The only problem with this campground and is why I have given it. Only four stars is that it is exactly along the interstate which is nonstop traffic 24 seven. It did not let up in the night time.

We stayed in a cabin, which was lovely. The staff was mostly friendly and helpful. Pool was beautiful and well maintained. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed watching all the little campers enjoying the pool and slide.

We stayed one night heading to the Black Hills. We stayed in the deluxe cabin with a bathroom. It was a cute tiny house. We enjoyed our stop. Wish we could have stayed on our way back! The stay was wonderful! Park nice and clean! Highly recommend!!

Very good experience, very friendly staff. Campground well maintained . We stayed 3 nights in a camping lodge. It was very clean and well maintain. The pool was excellent. We ordered Hunt Brothers Pizza. It was delivered by staff to our cabin, it was very good. Again, many many compliments to the staff for providing a great camping experience this KOA is definitely an example setter for KOA’s !

At time of reservation, we requested two cabins side-by-sid, the other for my sister and her family. Upon check in the girl said the one cabin was not clean. Upon further conversation, the girl decided to clean it, but strangely only took about 15 minutes. The cleaned cabin, various bottles of drinks and frozen beverages in the freezer, clearly not been cleaned. Excessive highway noise. Pool nice!

We had a great time. The staff was fantastic and very helpful. The pool was nice. Our cabin was very nice. Only complaint was we did not have hot water. The staff tried diligently to fix it but we never could use the shower as there was not hot water. Overall very good stay.

Maintanence was notified on Friday night at 7:30pm and the issue was fixed. No other indications the rest of the stay or we would have had this issue checked during the stay. Housekeeping staff checked on Sunday and no water issues. Otherwise we hope you had a great stay!

The stay was quick as we came in later in the evening. Our keys were not available but the staff quickly remedied this mistake and apologized. That was fine. The biggest and only negative was the AC unit in cabin 1. We stayed for $100 and surely a better unit can be installed for extremely hot days. It was so hot after a 90+ degree day that opening the windows helped. Didn’t sleep!

We are sorry the AC didn't meet expectations in extreme heat. Our team works hard to maintain equipment and respond quickly to issues. The key was in the night registration box next to the site map and was delivered to guest. AC not mentioned while onsite or we could have had this checked as well

Very frustrating with air conditioner not working for first 5 hrs. 97 degrees inside cabin. Seems to have been a routine maintenance problem. Coils and filter needed cleaned. Something i do routinely every year at my house, prior to summer.

We are sorry the AC didn't meet expectations in extreme heat. Our team works hard to maintain equipment and respond quickly to issues in this case were notified at 7pm and fixed by 7:20pm. Maintenance checked the next morning and was told everything was fantastic and freezing

We rented a cabin and brought our travel trailer and brought eight grandchildren with us in North Sioux City S.D.. We camp here because it's so kid friendly, the pool, playground, and miniature golf. They have wonderful service bringing supplies right to your campsite and there is always a smile on their faces. We ordered the Hunts Brothers pizza and it was great. I'm sure we will be back again.

First the good. We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was really nice. Plenty of room for 6 adults. Now the bad. There was no hot water in the cabin. In fact there was no hot water at the campground because we also tried the showers at the bath house. We were very disappointed!

The cabin was clean and employees were polite. However, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Plus, the tub water never did get hot even though we let it run for over 5 minutes. Other than that, it was a quiet and restful place to stay.

Staff was made aware of the hot water heater problem the 1st morning of a two night stay and was sent to fix the issue. Maintenance was told no further issues during the stay. We will look into the stocking from the housekeepers but was unaware of this issue.

These folks were great. We had planned on car-glamping for accommodation while on across country adventure.The weather changed and tent/car camping was not a thought we wanted to entertain. After inquiring if upgraded to a little dry cabin was possible, we spent a warm and comfortable sleep. The amenity offered were clean and in working order. All but one will have this review as they were all #1.

We have been staying here for a very long time in the recent years. It has gotten very expensive due to every single thing costing money, including parking and even having guests visit our site. Also seems very unorganized when the pool isn’t open for one of the biggest camping days of the year and when it was open, it was still quite dirty. Due to the amount of children registered on-site during Memorial Day self guided free amenities include mini golf, jumping pad, brand new playground. With rain and cold temperatures between 39°-60 degrees the pool remained closed 5/23 but opened 5/24 after sample testing.

Overall, the stay was not horrible, however, the site is within throwing distance of the interstate and can be a bit noisy. Friendly staff as always at KOA...great job there!

A nice shady RV park, we stayed at while traveling through from Iowa to the West. Our spot did not have sewer hookups, but others may have. Lots of amenities, but we only stayed the night so didn't use them.
