We had to modify our date which went well. We arrived about 7pm. Registered and was taken to our site. Site 66. The campground was at most half full. Site 66 has the campground electric panels etc next to this site which makes getting the utilities difficult. Why if arriving later in the day are you put in probally the worst Site in the park. We enjoyed the stay at the park.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Our campground is older and only has a small amt. of camping sites that can accommodate a 40ft+ rig. As we do try to accommodate everyone's needs if this was brought to the staff attention while escorting we would have had the office check to see if there was another site that may fit needs better.

The young fellow who met me at the entry gate and walked me to my camping site is a very good employee as he tried to meet each campers needs. He was a busy and pleasant guy.

This was our halfway point between home and Custer State Park. It was conveniently located, staff was helpful/very friendly and the pull through sites were perfect for our layover. The pizza onsite was very nice at the end of a long travel day. The traffic noise from I-29 is loud, but that’s the only downside of having the KOA be easily accessible to getting back on the road. We enjoyed our stay

We had a beautiful shaded patio site. This was one of the very best KOAs we have stayed in. Friendly staff in both the office and on the grounds. We will be back.

It was easy to check. Staff were very helpful. Restrooms & showers were very clean. Good WiFi system. We would definitely come here again.

Great pull through site for a one night stop on our journey north. We appreciated that the pizza we ordered was delivered right to our door so we could really relax before another long day of driving. The staff member who greeted us and took us to our site as well as delivered the pizza was very friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed 5 days. The grounds hadn't been touched since winter. On the final day they did start to clean up. The mini golf was unusable, the pool was closed. The truck alarm went off at 1:30 am on one of the evenings, someone trying to break in. All in all too much money for a place that wasn't really open for business.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

In April, some amenities and operations are limited due to freezing overnight temps and seasonal start up conditions. This included the pool being closed until conditions allow safe operation. After the original 4 night stay, the stay was extended multiple times. This relays needs were met.

This is right off the freeway. Easy to get to. Quiet. Very friendly staff. Clean up to date bathrooms.

Very peaceful area to relax and unwind. Staff very friendly and helpful. Besides the people walking through our campsite multiple times, we had an enjoyable time and will be back!

Because my rig is 41 ft long I was told the only site available was the premium site patio site even though all the open sites in my row all looked like the same size. I was pulling a short car and 40 ft rigs pulling longer vehicles were overall longer than me were in the regular sites. I think I was upsold and taken advantage of.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Early in the season we only have one row open that we can safely turn the water on. This row includes 5 full hook up pull throughs and 3 KOA patio sites. Unfortunately, the 5 regular sites were already booked leaving only Patio Sites. We hope to be able to turn on more water once above freezing.

Easy in and out! Appreciated the security gate! Greeted upon arrival and escorted directly to our site! Knew the area and gave recommendations on where to eat! Would definitely stay again!

Just a quick overnight stay. We had a long drive, got our after hours packet and proceeded to our site. The site was long enough so we stayed hooked up. Good water pressure, power and sewer. It was a very quiet park. We didn't use the restrooms. We will keepthis park in mind on any future trip!

During our 4 day stay, I was bothered by the sound of the constant beeping from the machinery they were using to hold a man up close to the trees while he cut and trimmed branches around the park. Next, when they began burning piles of branches and debris, we were smoked out. Ash was settling inside our 5th wheel and the trucks. It was hard to breath and we continued sneezing for days. Awful!

Little flies around the check-in were really bad (and bit something horrible). Didn’t seem as bad in the campground. Seemed a little pricey with the pool closed and the campground virtually shutdown.

The check-in person did a wonderful job. However there was a great deal of road noise--perhaps a fence or other barrier? Also, this KOA needs more signage pointing to the exit as well as a sign near the gate that says to pull forward for the gate to raise. We drove around the park twice at 6 a.m. looking for the exit....

Great little spot to stop! Had a 1 night stay on our way across the country. Great laundry facilities. Wash was $1 dryer was $.75. Didn't have to dry twice, which was nice!! Woke up to a beautiful sunset, showered with some decent pressure (the shower heads could use a good vinegar soak to reduce some of the build up) but overall, very pleased! Would stay again!

Really nice campground with great staff! There is some road noise, however it is right off of the highway!! What do you expect lol!

We had planned to tent camp, but after days of storms and a dangerous heat wave, we decided at the last minute to get a pet-friendly cabin. Maddie made the entire process easy. She was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely cared about helping us after a long day on the road. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. We traveled across several states on this trip, and this stop was one of the best decisions we made. Thank you, Maddie, for making our stay such a great experience. We would absolutely stay here again
