We enjoyed our stay. Great little store. Nice pool area. Site grassy area is pretty small. We happened to have 2 large bushes in our grassy are making it even smaller. Sites are really close together too but the Pull through sites are huge plus. No gates on the pet yard yet. Something temporary would help until permanent comes in. Would stay again.

Unfortunatley, due to rain our fencing company was not able to complete the gates for your stay. A temporary fence could become a liability for loose dogs therefore we encourage everyone to use the dog walk until this can be complete.

Staff is awesome park is great but I have a problem with the early arrival fee not talking two hours early but 20 minutes if KOA’s continue this they will loose a long time loyal customer

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We do have an early check in fee especially during summer and Saturday mornings as many KOA's It is important for the staff to have time to clean all sites before arrivals check in. No one wants a dirty site so staff is pulled from other jobs to make this happen.

Dated campground in need of some maintenance and updates. Noisy location due to its proximatety to I24. Pool was heated and in great shape.

We do hope you enjoyed your two night stay at our location. We are on 1-29 in SD. We hope you enjoyed all the NEW ameneties. NEW larger pool installed this spring. NEW larger dog park build should be completed in the new few days!

The campground was clean and the staff very friendly. The new pool was great. We got to ride bikes on the bike trail and even played miniature golf. This was a great KOA.

The facility was great Tony was very helpful and friendly. However the two young girls in charge were not very customer friendly. Here’s what happened I asked them to top off my propane tanks witch were at least three quarters full the one girl was trying to fill one of them didn’t see her open the valve meter didn’t move sign said $5min charged me $36 for nothing refused to charge the min

As discussed we can’t top off propane tanks. The scale is for Motorhome propane not regular tank fills which is why the gauge didn’t work. For tanks we have a one time flat fee.

I was there for a travel assignment and I could not have stayed at a better place!! The owners are absolutely amazing people and the staff are just as amazing !! I’m really going to miss it there and can’t wait to go back just to stay there

The campground itself was great! The employees were friendly & helpful. The bathrooms were clean & the wifi was strong. The playground, jumping pad & basketball hoop were enjoyed! We did receive a text with some updates which was much appreciated. However, the pool closed early at 7:45pm even though the posted sign said 9pm. This was very frustrating as it was HOT and were planning to use it. Sad.

Mostly the stay was good. The only thing that needs attention is that the shower drains were extremely slow to drain in the men's bathroom (office bldg). Water pooled up and overflowed to other shower stalls while showering.

Nice bathhouse, beautiful pool. The workers are rude about kicking you off the activities 20 minutes before the actual posted time- for example the pool, miniature golf. If the sign says the pool closes at 8:00, they should close the pool at 8:00, not 7:40.

Everything was great except the location of the dumpsters. They weren’t located by both drives (in and out). This might seem silly to some people, but my husband and I are both disabled so we don’t/can’t walk very far.

We experienced a pretty major thunderstorm while there that hit around midnight. KOA can’t control the weather, and the tree that dropped major tonnage on a thankfully empty site didn’t look unhealthy, but it was a little distressing. The pool area was clean & tidy. The pizza was good. The store was a little under stocked. Overall it was a nice stay, very light traffic noise from I-29.

Very nice campground. Greeted at the entrance and taken to the site immediately with follow-up check-in after setting up camp. Very clean and well established. Would return!

If you are traveling with kids this is a great place to stay. It has a swimming pool, miniature golf, jumping pad, and playground. However, for just me and my wife and only staying for the night as we passed through, the price of $74 was on the high end. I understand the higher price if you are staying there and using all of the amenities, we just need electric and a place to sleep.

Grounds could use some tidying up. The two kids running the office were polite and curteus. They had curbside service and took us straight to our site but then we had to go back up to the office to check in. Would have been nice to have checked in then go to our site.

After a week of traveling (1 night stop overs) we were overdue for a real stop. The staff here were wonderful: we ordered pizza (either we were starving or the pizza was amazing- I vote amazing) and firewood. After a few beers and some Ranger TV, we turned in. Although they right off the Highway the road noise was super low. Awesome stay - we’ll be back!

Bounce pillow not working, miniature golf course in poor condition with grass carpet coming up all over, playground feels like an afterthought. Stayed here for the grandkids activities and they couldn’t enjoy these things.

We are just as frustrated that the amenities were not the same as they were the week before when you were here. As we discussed another guest decided to vandalize the pillow leaving it out the rest of the summer. We do have a jump pad that is still available for use.

Curbside check-in was great after a long day driving. Campground is very secure with gates and codes for bathroom. We did not use the pool but it looked very nice. Campground employees were very nice and the campground was well kept. I would highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area.

Quick stop overnight. After a very hot day on the road (105°f) on the road through South Dakota we arrived at approximately 830pm. Kids quickly changed and headed over to the pool at 845 for a quick cool off before they closed at 9pm. My fiance took the kids over to the pool only to be kicked out 10 minutes before closing by a young man who told them "he had things to do". $5 per kid to stay? W

A nice shady RV park, we stayed at while traveling through from Iowa to the West. Our spot did not have sewer hookups, but others may have. Lots of amenities, but we only stayed the night so didn't use them.

I enjoyed my Memorial Day stay. It was a great location for me. I rode my e-bike on a beautiful trail. I crossed under 29 and picked up the Louis and Clark trail
