Arrived 30 minutes after 5:00 to find “late” checkin instructions with detailed instructions to two possible sites. Electronic gates access mandated 2 people because of rig size and gate scanner position. Level sites. Maneuverability with big rig was acceptable. Easy access from highway.

Very nice campgrounds. the only complaint we have, which is no fault of yours, is the road noise of the semi trucks all night.

While we arrived late and left early, we were pleased to see how clean the campground was. We look forward to a time we will be able to stay longer.

Campground was neat and clean. The occupancy was 25% or so, It sure would have been nice if they would have spread us out a bit. we were placed close with others, and there wasn't much room. Offering us to pick our site when it was this empty would have been nice a nice touch. Availability of cable tv should be a franchise requirement. The Wifi option just doesn't seem to work well.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

During the last weeks of our season we have sites closed for repairs or have been winterized. The additional sites adjacent would have been too small for a 40ft FW. All the 65ft sites are on similar rows were the sites in use. The available sites are only 55ft. Our wifi has been upgraded.

For a nation wide campground I find it disappointing that you close at 5pm. I've camped at many KOA campgrounds and they stayed open later.Your after hours instructions were ok but after a 550+ mile drive it would have been nice to access the KOA store to purchase a few items. And by the time you opened at 9am we were long gone.

We are Open from 9-9 during our main season May-Sept. After That our staff is back in college. During the last few weeks of our opening season it is necessary to close at 5. In the fall in SD there will be many campgrounds the same. Hopefully you can try us again during our peak season

The only issue we had was we came late to the campground and there were no codes given for the shower house, so we couldn’t use it. It was disappointing that we couldn’t use the pool. It was 84 degrees and I definitely would have swam.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The maps left in our night registration box for late arrivals do not have codes for safety. In return, site map states to please text us for codes. We verify that you are on site codes are sent via text. We hope you were able to use the pool the next morning. We were able to keep open longer this yr

Nicest KOA I've ever stayed at. James and his staff were great and helpful if I ever needed anything. Was there for a few months in the summer 24' and the pool was great. Also a plus it didn't flood out like two of the other parks around Sioux City.

The pool was absolutely fabulous! It was super clean and was a wonderful surprise to see it still open in mid-September. I appreciated how the KOA staff seemed to separate the RV’s a bit for privacy, not lining them up site next to site. I would absolutely stay here again!

This park was more of a Journey than a Holiday. It has the amenities of a Holiday, but were unavailable when we arrived at 4pm. We received a text asking if we wanted a pizza and to order it by 530pm. We set up and I tried at 515pm and was told we were too late. I mentioned the text said 530pm and was then told not today and some days it’s earlier. Beautiful padlocked pool.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Typically our pool will close on Labor Day. We decided to keep the pool open a week longer as we are waiting for the cover to be installed. Since we are Off season all of our staff has returned to school. Due to this we close the office and amenities at 6pm.

Nice place, not sure why it ranks as a “Holiday “ Owners not really involved by all indications, hence missing that personal touch

It is unfortunate that you were a personal touch. The manager is the owner's daughter. Also the owners put on a hotdog dinner for all the camping guests the Saturday of the weekend you stayed. I hope you were able to stop by the event!

A nice shady RV park, we stayed at while traveling through from Iowa to the West. Our spot did not have sewer hookups, but others may have. Lots of amenities, but we only stayed the night so didn't use them.

I enjoyed my Memorial Day stay. It was a great location for me. I rode my e-bike on a beautiful trail. I crossed under 29 and picked up the Louis and Clark trail
