We rent the bass cabin every year and we always love the friendly staff at koa, the only problem we had is when we asked if we could rent a golf cart for the whole weekend we were told no but they didn't tell us we could reserve one for the next day and when I went to get one they were sold out.

Super clean, great activities (pirate weekend), only feedback is too replace broken shades in Mars yurt. Cannot wait to come back next year!

We stayed one night at the Wildcat Cabin on our way to NY. It is very cute little cabin and was perfect for us. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend this KOA!

We love Shelby KOA, we are frequent visitors. Our only complaint is that the mattresses in the cabins seem worse for the wear. The bed sinks down terribly in the middle. But the new pool and splash pad are a huge hit with our little ones!

The campground was nice with plenty to do for kids. However, the kids water play area was non operational too much and our kids missed out. The stove in the cabin was dirty and the refrigerator took too long to get cold. The cabin can surely use new appliances for the price we paid each night. The staff was great along with the restaurant and store.

Again , we had a blast. So relaxing and everyone is so friendly. The new 2nd pool and splash pad was a mega hit with my kids and me as well. This is definitely our home away from home. Can't wait to come back!!!

We were one in a group of 5 cabins, 3 campsites.The cabins were not worth the cost.The California has a leak so bad the sofa was soaked and there is mold growing in the loft.The Capital has a single a/c unit in the front of the cabin that cools off the living area but not the bedroom; the leak under the porch renders it useless in the rain.We love the updates you made but more are needed.

Love the new pool and splash pad. Would love to see improvements made to the older cabins where we stay each year. Could use a new fridge and utensils in the Capital.

My family has rented two cabins across the road from each other for years now, and we will continue to do so for a long time. It has always been the highlight of our summer because we can spend time together as a family without the distractions of technology and work. We love the very clean campground, friendly staff, and dog friendly campsites.

Although this campground is wonderful with lots of amenities, they need to give their Cabins a little TLC . Our Cabin smelled like urine when near bathroom, tons of spiders & mosquitoes. I think when they open them up for the season they need to fumigate and clean them well with vacuum. Our cabin was in a great location but not the cleanest. The staff were great!

Great stay. Great staff. Glad to see a new pool and and shower house. I just wish that they would upgrade some of their older cabins. We spent almost $800 for the weekend and have an outdated bathroom. The shower has a huge box that takes up most of the space and has a harsh boxes that sprays like a power washer and it has a crappy window air conditioner rather than central.

We loved the Glamping Tent. It is very convenient to have a few amenities while still enjoying the seclusion of the tent sites.

I do have to say this is a beautiful well maintained KOA. The staff very helpful and pleasant to. Our Western cabin was NOT up to KOA standards. What's up with the bed? I'm 57 that had 2 hip replacements and it was massive, I couldn't get my legs up that high to sleep on it. Toilet rocked, toilet seat slides and ran the whole time. I'm sure someone else had to complain.Just wasn't a good cabin

Return guest, go every year! Best KOA we’ve ever gone to. Staff is friendly/helpful, even when they are super busy. Clean, lots of activities and the Fireworks are phenomenal! Something for all ages!

We don't camp often but this is an amazing camp ground. The staff are super and everything is top notch. Lots of activities for everyone no matter the age. The new pool meets everyones needs and the new camp sites while not used by us (we rent cabin) are more than anyone would expect. Very clean facility.

The entire place is well maintained and the staff is very nice. Its not cheap but we got value for our money. Third time there we will be back for sure.

We stay here every year. This has become a tradition. The grounds are so well maintained. Each year we come back and something has been improved. My only complaint, which is not a surprise is the Wifi. I had to send some e-mails for work and there is very little wifi or cell service in this area. In some ways that is a benefit I guess! You guys are always awesome. We will be back!

This is an awesome facility. We do not normally camp. We were there for a Great Dane dog show. The facility is extremely well maintained and runs very well providing a great experience for the guests. Keep up the good work.

Always first class service - Amy is absolutely a gem to work with. She and her team so attentive. The renovations and additions are stunning. The park itself in tip top shape. Staying for the June weekend every year is one of the highlights of our year.

Absolutely wonderful. My Niece and I came in on a Sunday for 4 nights. The weather was 90 degrees everyday, so we lived in the pool. Very relaxing and peaceful as always. This is the best KOA if great amenities. The new upgrades this year are great. We cannot forget to mention the Staff and Owners here at Shelby/Mansfield KOA, they are so caring and helpful.

The lady that checked us in did not even tell us how to get into the cabin. So we had to walk all the way back to the front office. But when I came back up there, the lady who told me how to get into my cabin was very kind. There was a oreo cookie left in my cabin stuffed underneath upstairs. No shower pressure or warmth. Very dirty air conditioner filters poorly working. But I clean now work ok.

We stayed in a yurt. It was very close so many activities and the wonderful new showers. The only concern I have is that no one told us that the Yurt had heat and we about froze one night. Please label the air conditioner somehow so people know it is a heater too. The campground is beautiful and efficient. A lot of quality family time was had by all.

Our family looks forward to our trip to Wagon Wheel every year. My grandson would rate go here than to the beach. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Everything is clean and well taken care of. Just wish all the cob webs had been knocked down before we got to out cabin but that is a very small thing. Our hearts and prayers go out to the Cole family during their time of sorrow.

Absolutely a breathtaking place to stay. They have all the amenities to make sure that you and your family are comfortable and have a great time during your whole entire stay. I would highly recommend this place to anybody and everyone who is looking for a weekend getaway, or even just a quick night to stay.
