We stayed in a yurt and it was so cozy! We loved the pool and splash pad. We did have slight issues when our neighbors checked in. Be aware in the yurt you can hear the other persons tv and it sounds like you are watching tv yourself. So when they watch tv until 1 am it was very hard to sleep. They also had a dog that barked non stop all night long.

Grounds were beautiful. Bed was awful in cabin. Poison ivy around site. Too many bugs & cobwebs around windows & porch area. Not worth the cost.

The campgrounds itself was awesome. The cabin was just okay. Need new outside furniture. Nothing comfortable for sitting outside. Not enough chairs for 6 people to sit at fire pit. Futon very uncomfortable too. Filters in ac could use a good cleaning.

Wonderful campground. Great amenities for children. I will note that there were not as many activities planned as they had in the previous years and it would be nice if they had a few activities for older children. Further note, our cabin had a funky smell. We stayed in same type of cabin last year, no issue, this year different cabin, bad smell.

I did not use any of the amenities but they seemed lovely. We stayed in a cabin. If you stay here, be sure to bring your own sheets unless you like plastic sheets. I've never been so sweaty in a 65 degree room in my life and it made sleeping almost impossible.

One of the best campgrounds we have ever stayed at. There are endless activities for both adults and kids. Enjoyed the wine slushes and the beautiful sunset views over the fishing pond. We will definitely be back!

Internet is terrible! If you wanted to stay and work remotely for a day or two it’s impossible. It would be nice to plan an extended stay and have this option. Other than that, more activities for young adults.

We loved our stay and we loved everything about the KOA and we will be back. Everything from the check in to customer service to the cabin we stayed in was amazing and awesome. Thanks for everything you guys do for us, as campers and we will be back to visit again soon. Have a blessed Day.

Love this campground. Cabin needs some upgrades (bathroom remodel, new refrigerator, etc). Only negative is that they charge a separate fee for each person who stays in the cabin. Should have at least 4 included in price. Charge extra for towels that way if someone doesn't want to pay that, they can bring their own!

Great place. Nice people and facilities. One gripe though. Don't understand why, when coming from out of town and arriving a couple of hours early, they were going to charge us $10 per person to use the pool while waiting on our $200+ a night cabin to get ready.

Impecabley kept campground. Everything was super clean. Cabins a bit dated but immaculate. Pools and splash pad were also very clean and fun. Bathrooms were very clean as well. Would recommend to others for sure

It was a much needed getaway to take time and relax and unwind. We could not ask for better accommodations, scenery, and the smell of a campfire. The staff is top notch and always ready to help with any concerns or questions. We did enjoy the activities such as paddle boats, candy bar bingo, and mini golf. Thanks for a great experience. We will back in October for the Witches weekend.

Amenities were great, workers were friendly. Spartan needs a new mattress as it is very sinky in the middle. It also needs new cookware as it was very beat up and had no spatula, no serving spoons, etc. The cooktop flamed out easily if you turned it to low so you really have to watch closely for that. My kids love your campground. Hopefully we'll be back!

This was our third year staying at Shelby. The grandkids had a wonderful time at the pools and playgrounds, in spite of a bad experience with the pedal cart policy implementation.

We always enjoy visiting this campground. We rent a cabin. The new pool and splash pad are beautiful. The cabins are dated and need to be updated. They are clean. We enjoyed the rib dinner and wine tasting on Saturday evening. We will return.

Had some issues the 1st day but Amy personally took care of them!! Thank you so much Amy for getting us switched into a yurt with good AC :) very grateful for you! We had a blast at the campgrounds! My boys ran and ran all day from place to place having fun! They each paid a very small fee to have a friend come hangout for the day. It was a great stay-cation!

Not very friendly at the front desk. No ice??? Cabin wasn’t ready even at 4pm and I had to call back to get the code for my door fixed. Nice place but my experience won’t allow me to return.

Staff works very hard to keep camp well maintained and to help with any issues. We had an AC problem but staff helped to get a 2nd cooling unit and discounted our stay. The putt putt , paddle boats, pools, and ponds are well kept. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

it was good. The only two issues we had was the dish tv went out which the owner fixed and the inconsiderate staff person that ran his golf cart through the gate when we opened it to get in and we had to spend 10 minutes trying to get that resolved.

Absolutely a breathtaking place to stay. They have all the amenities to make sure that you and your family are comfortable and have a great time during your whole entire stay. I would highly recommend this place to anybody and everyone who is looking for a weekend getaway, or even just a quick night to stay.
