We live nearby but we come to stay here often just to have little weekend getaways when the kids get restless. This campground is our absolute favorite and we always highly recommend it to anyone! We’re always pleased with our stays, especially interacting with staff. It’s wonderful to have such friendly, helpful people make our stay that much more welcoming. Thanks for all that you do!

We had a great stay at a camp site! The only recommendation I have are the playgrounds could use some help. The one slide was pretty unstable, so much so that I wouldn’t let my son go down it.

Other than camping in a tent with all the rain, we had a great time! I haven’t been to a KOA since I was a kid. Between the friendly staff, the hourly activities planned all weekend, the fun accommodations - we had a blast and will definitely be back. Also, shoutout to Mr. Ed for helping with our fire when it wouldn’t stay lit. :)

We had a couple of issues with the cabins we rented this time. But for the most part our stay lived up to our expectations set in previous years

We had to leave early because the mattress in the cabin we were in was so bad. It was hurting my husband back.

The only thing I see that needs addressed is the door to the women's bathroom in the newest building. It is very heavy and hard to open, especially for someone who is disabled. The facility was extremely clean, the staff is alway very helpful and there was more than enough activities for the kids.

Love the campground overall. I rented a golf cart and my only complaint is the length of rental. I wish the rental was longer like 10 or 12 hours. It would have really made a difference. We will be back again!

Had a great weekend, staff was friendly like always, park is clean and well maintained. Looks like sites are ready for some added gravel, we had a lot of rain and my drive was a pond so was my camping neighbors. I know it’s camping and we shouldn’t be on our phones but I wish the WIFI was upgraded, we had no signal or WiFi at our site or the surrounding sites for the weekend. I’m done compla

Wonderful as usual. Stay multiple times a year. This is our new favorite campground. Staff are very friendly and plenty of things for the kids to do.

Love this campground! The staff seemed a bit more strict than usual this weekend, which was a bit odd. They always do a great job with activities and the facilities were in top notch shape!

I was so surprised at all the things you had to offer. The rain did play lot in our short stay. The cafe breakfast was really good.

It is the nicest KOA we have ever been to! The sites are magnificent! The pavilion we had was HUGE & had everything in it! The office staff, Amy and Audrey were so nice & helpful! Only problem was with all the bird poop from the bird nests in the rafters of the pavilion. It was all over everything. Staff cleaned it for us but birds kept pooping! Need screens.

I understand that weather is a factor when camping. However, when I pay a premium for a site with amenities, I expect to be able to enjoy what I paid for. The entire campfire area and bench was flooded and we had no running water in the morning. The staff was not accommodating to our plight.

We love shelby/Mansfield KOA. This stay was early in the season, so things were quiet. We had a Premium site, so we had a large gazebo over a beautiful concrete patio. The site also had a fantastic outdoor kitchen that was used to prepare some great meals. It may not have been "roughing it," but what a way camp !

Staff and management was great, they went out of their way many times to help us enjoy our visit, we really enjoyed our stay! The only negatives I would say were the terrible sewer smell from our site and the kafe closing early on Sunday. With regards to the sewer, we had to keep it closed and drain our tanks when they got full.

Beautiful park! We traveled 170 miles to spend the week and enjoyed every minute of it. We plan on going back again later this summer or for sure next year. The Bible Walk in Mansfield is an amazing sight to see while you enjoy this campground.

Very quiet and contained in the country. It was fairly empty while we were there, but probably fills up in the summer months. Close enough to bigger towns to make grocery shopping easy.

My partner said that we are definitely coming back to the exact same camp site we started with at the Shelby/Mansfield KOA. We're bringing the Family with us.!

We stayed in the K2 cabin at KOA and had an awesome time! We live only 15 minutes away in Willard, but it still felt like a getaway. The cabin was clean and cozy, and everyone was very friendly. Even though it was chilly and the pool/hot tub were closed, we still had fun playing putt-putt golf and relaxing. We would definitely stay again!

We were just there overnight. The campground is beautiful and very well maintained. The personal in the office were very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend this KOA.

One of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed at. Bathrooms and campground is immaculately clean. Very friendly and helpful staff. While there we were in a bad storm and the staff made sure to check on us and see that we were safe. We will definitely stay here again. Lots of room between sites and roads well laid out.

As always we were not disappointed. We enjoyed the weekend and making more memories at our favorite KOA. It was so nice to be greeted by my first name walking into check in and we are not even seasonal campers. The staff, the grounds and all the amenities and events planned for the weekend were awesome. We can't wait to go back soon.

Sites were nice. I just didn't like that the amenities are so far from the newer part of the campground where we stayed. Very long walk for the finishing lake. The campground just seems to be more set up to cater to the seasonal campers rather than the transient campers. Overall wasn't disappointed that we stayed there, but likely won't be back again.

Absolutely a breathtaking place to stay. They have all the amenities to make sure that you and your family are comfortable and have a great time during your whole entire stay. I would highly recommend this place to anybody and everyone who is looking for a weekend getaway, or even just a quick night to stay.
