Our third stay here. Costanoa is tranquil, has beautiful vistas & gorgeous grounds. My rating is for Whale18. EVERY site except ours had new mulch & was dry. While there, they had employees add more gravel--helped for a day, but water just kept leaching into our campsite (it's downhill) until everything was wet. A staff member remarked to us that this site has ALWAYS had issues. Disappointing.

Santa Cruz North/Costanoa KOA is one of our favorite places to stay. The staff is friendly, the grounds are beautiful, and the ambience is serene. It is everything we look for when we are camping!

Staff was wonderful. Amenities were great. Campsites are very close together and the ticks were a nuisance. But otherwise great!

This KOA is beautiful...the ONLY downside is the WIFI. They say it's limited...there is none really. Other than that, the sites are clean, the store has lots of merch to buy, and the hiking/biking trails are vast! Views to the Ocean are fantastic! We absolutely LOVED your Registration team during the Day! Tammy and friend that we nicknamed "Keith", since we didn't catch his real name, are A+!

Due to prior weather conditions it was wet and muddy in our rv spot . The activities were not existent due to the activity person quitting. The tent where pizza and beer w/music wasn’t open . Not to mention the WI-FI is never working . The people and the staff that were present were lovely , just for the amount of money things could’ve been executed better to accommodate guests .

The area we stayed had some of the campsites too close together. Also, the assigned deck didn’t align with the campsites.

I am sure you hear this all the time, but the Wi-Fi is terrible there. We do not know your agreement with Costanoa, but for the price everybody pays to stay there you would think that more repeaters or Wi-Fi boosters could be added to the entire facility.

It is designed for large rv vehicles only. There is no area for small vans so our spots were shadowed by slide outs and huge rv footprints. Lovely services and views. Wouldn’t recommend or stay again til they make a small rv area. Our friends and I each left a day before our reservation was over because we were sandwiched between huge vehicles and the large vehicles that towed them.

Really wish the Pine Tent was open and it should be open more frequently. It has nice to have the live music and the ice cream!

This is my happy place. Ground ate always meticulously maintained and the staff is on it! Everyone there from the grounds personnel to checkin to restaurant staff are super friendly and helpful and you are literally across the street from the ocean that you can see from everywhere! It's a little slice of heaven on earth! 🤗

Amazing stay. Wonderful smell and sounds of nature. Very close to the beach. Very clean and updated. Love it. Will definitely visit again.
