Not my first stay, but always a great time. Frozen margs and pizza were the best. Rydables were great too, but i wish you offered some sort of deal on renting more than one a time or something -- $25/hour is a lot of money.

Stay went fine. Only 1 minor complaint is that on our 2nd night a group was smoking Marijuana and it came through ac units into cabin. This is 2nd year in a row this has happened and it is not a good smell to have to experience.

its was very fun and friendly. the people that work there are very helpful. the only problem we had was waiting until 4pm to check in and then we had to vacuum and clean our cabin. I know its a cabin but it could have been a little more cleaner.

We were mainly there to go to Cedar point. We did use the pool and it seemed clean and well maintained. Cabin was decent, Place would be small if you were trapped inside all day because of weather etc..., but there was plenty of space outside. Was some food in the fridge and freezer from prior guest(a $50 fine if I did that) and a used band aid stuck to the floor. Otherwise, seemed clean.

I came for a little me time before my day retreat on Sunday and this place gave me the opportunity to do just that. I loved my cabin it was spotless, the staff were AMAZING and amenities were awesome. I loved getting daily texts on what was happening that day and the simple reminders.

Everything was great! We’ve been staying here for over 20 years, and it’s always one of our favorite places to stay. The staff was friendly and welcoming, there are plenty of activities to enjoy, and the location is perfect—just minutes from Cedar Point. We always have a great experience and look forward to coming back!

We had a good time. The area and campground are beautiful. The cabin floor was very dirty and unswept. I spilled water, wiped it up and the paper towel was black. The bathroom and a shower room were dirty. The floors had dirty corners and the shower were worse. The shower stall had mold or mildew on it and the corners were dirty.

The staff in the office at check in were rude and we felt like we were bothering them, this was throughout our stay also. Cabins are in bad shape, dirty, and linens only include sheets, blankets, pillows, no comfortable or extra blankets. The billboard needs something to cover the steel beams so someone doesn’t get injured. The men’s bathroom by pool was always dirty and missing shower head.

Tried to check in at 315pm (after being on the road in rain for 7 hours). Was told absolutely no check-in until 4pm. The cabin (#3) was filthy including the dishes. Many things were broke: A/C, refrigerator shelves, toaster, holes in outside umbrella, I could go on and on. Staff was rude about replacing our towels once during a 5 night stay. No TP, paper towels, or trash bags. Will never stay agai

It's exactly what is needed for whatever your vacation entails. We didn't need much but were impressed with all the amenities the campground offered. The cabin was clean and in good condition and we REALLY appreciated coming in to find that the a/c had already been turned on for us. Breakfast was good quality and huge portions. Pools were clean and well maintained.

Just there for a quick trip to Cedar Point. Location is perfect. Cabin was clean and modestly stocked for our needs. Would recommend to friends.

The RV sites are nice as we've camped here before. This time we stayed in one of the 'deluxe' cabins and it was a different experience. It was very dated, not clean and well, dumpy. For the price, not worth it at all - at any price. So, we'd recommend staying here if you're pulling your own rig, NOT if you're staying in a cabin

Rustic cabin was our choice. We've stayed here for years, even way back when there was a field for tents. We had to bring our own breakfast because pancakes are not provided with rustic cabins any more. Linens provided gives us more trunk space for a nice fan. Pool is wonderful and our children loved the jump pad until the monsoon closed it down. We ran the new paved area with no cars and loved it

We got to upgrade to a bigger cabin so that helped us have a better time. The kids loved the pool. I think it would be good to plant trees, there is not a lot of shade at all. Thanks for a great weekend.

We were very happy with stay and would definitely come back comparing to other Koa the bathrooms were not kept up on and were very disgusting at times but all and all a very good stay

Only things good were that it was close to the tournament we were in and inexpensive. There was black mold on the AC and all over the showers and shower curtains. The floor was also had black mold in the corners. As we were cleaning to leave, there was previous food left under the mattresses.

The camp ground and pools were awesome. Our cabin was not, we did receive a refund. The place was dirty, nothing in the kitchen and an outlet was uncovered and wires showing.

Great stay!! Cabin was cute, cool and great for us. Full bath and three rooms. Pools were clean. Towels and linens provided. Only suggestion measuring cups and scissors in the kitchen. Everything else was perfect.

I stay here all the time. Staff is great and friendly. When I make a request, they’re really good at accommodating me. Fun activities for the kids on the weekend. Always have a good time staying there never had any issues.

The bathrooms by the pool needed more frequent cleanings. Our particular cabin had a burnt out light and there seemed to be in abundance of cobwebs that need it to be cleaned out. One of the outlets was also very this and needed to be screwed back into the wall. The bunk bed railing was also very loose and seemed to be falling out of the wall.

We had the buddy cabins and they worked out perfectly for our family. The campground has a lot of things to do and is close to a lot also.

Great campground. The best and most reasonably priced place to stay in Sandusky! Super close to the park. Two pools and lots of activities for the kids.

Really liked the campground and cabins. Lots to do, pools were clean. Rentals a little pricey, but my biggest issue was they refused to give me toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. We were there for 3 nights, and 2 rolls of toilet paper, 1 garbage bag, and 1 roll of paper towels was supposed to be enough. Never experienced anything like that anywhere we have ever stayed.

Easy check in/out. The deluxe cabin was clean and perfect size for our needs with all the essentials provided, even coffee, thank you!! Plenty of activities to do throughout our stay, even more than we could attend due to time constraints. Quiet time was perfect and we couldn't even hear the train. 10/10 stay and we will be back!

The ‘cabin’ should be listed as a trailer! There was nothing deluxe about the trailer except for the patio. 3 beds—- only 2 were made up with sheets. We couldn’t get an extra blanket and/or sheet to use on the futon. The response when we asked for extras was so rude, so unfriendly!!! The bed made up was the only nice one. The other 2 were horrible. That was the worse $440 I have ever spent

You need a fold out sleep sofa instead of a large bed in the middle of the main room. No room at the table to eat with the bed that way. I didn’t see anything for adults to do outside - cornhole, volleyball, ladder ball, etc. Very clean linens and cabin though. Thank you for a great few days!

A great stay as always. We stay here in the cabins a few times a year and they are always clean and well maintained. The bathhouse is kept clean and stocked. The grounds always look nice and trash picked up We're here to go to Cedar Point so don't use a lot of the amenities but they always look clean, maintained and fun. Lots to do for families

No many activities on site, loud train that goes by several times a day and night right behind the campground, dirty bathrooms, and you can’t purchase firewood past 8pm.

Fun time great staff…the cabins need updated though for this price point…r cabin stayed around 76 degrees all day till the sun went down

Sorry to hear you had a bad stay with us, unfortunately we had a heat wave with the heat reaching 95+ on some days. The AC keeps up the best it can, 76 degrees is not bad for how hot it was for over 5 days at 90+. Sorry you had a bad experience.

Staff was friendly and very responsive. Rooms were clean. Pools were nice. The only thing I was a little disappointed in was there was no activities during the week, only on weekends. Coming in Saturday and leaving Saturday morning, we weren't able to participate in anything. Bands in the evening, DJ dance parties for the kids, and other fun activities would of been a great addition.

Grandkids thoroughly enjoyed. Not being get refunded the $60 extra I paid for my dog that I didn't bring was disappointing especially when I discussed I wasn't positive I was bringing him with staff before I booked our trip. I wish it was made clearer that I would be out the pet fee. Never had that happen at any other campground before. Other than that, enjoyed our stay and will be back!

The staff at ive cream was very rude to our kids the first night so we decided we go else where every other night. We had sugar ants upon arrival and lots of bugs in the cabin. When using the shower house sunday morning we couldnt use the sinks because they were covered in bugs. So we brushed our teeth with bottled water. Our cabin was extremely slanted and sleeping was very uncomfortable

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.
