We had a wonderful weekend. The cabins were very clean and had everything we needed. The people in the office and at the activities were all very friendly and helpful

The cabin that we stayed in was extremely dirty and run down. I went and bought Lysol wipes and spray and tried to clean it the best I could when we arrived. I could not believe how dirty the floor was, it was swept but when I wiped it, the wipe was black from dirt. The beds were a thin piece of foam and we considered leaving after the first night. Beware - I would never stay again!

We had a wonderful stay! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It was a rainy weekend, but that didn't stop the fun activities. The location being so close to Cedar Point was also wonderful. We were able to go and come back, avoiding the worst of the rain. Thank you for a great stay and we can't wait to return!

We only stayed at your site. The fireplace was a perfect size and the site was as well. No issues with hydro and water. We were there for the Hallowweekend for Cedar Point. This is the second time we have stayed here and we will come back. Thanks again.

This was our second stay within six months. We enjoyed it so much that we came back!! The summer amenities were great, and the Halloween festivities were so much fun!

We stayed in the KOA because we were visiting our son in Lorain. It is a bit further than we would usually stay but the other campgrounds are already closed for the season. This KOA is obviously very bust during the season. It is very open with all but a few trees. The site was ok, close to level. Water sewer elec and cable were all fine. We learned about "May Flies" during this visit!!

Park and park staff was amazing good. The only complaint I have is the toilet paper in the bathroom is crazy thin... We will be back.

We stayed in one of the Deluxe Cabins. It was awesome!! We loved the layout of the cabin and the proximity it was to my family members camper. It was a wonderful weekend. We will be back!! Maybe next time see what you can do about the rain! Lol!!

Came to Sandusky for fall break. My wife's relatives live fairly close and she also wanted to take the kids for their annual Halloween cedar point trip. The stay was fantastic The staff was friendly. The bathrooms exceptionally clean. Not crowded. Nice KOA

I and my family enjoy our stay at the Bayshore KOA, I would have given you all a higher score than 7, however, there was limited space to fish Lake Erie.

I think that the Halloween activities should be spaced out throughout the day instead of most of them being at 5pm.

Awful weather but the kids did some trick or treating and painted some pottery so it was nice to have some things for them to do. Late check in was super convenient and check out was simple. All the staff were great and friendly. Cabin was clean and we had no issues. This will be our go to spot when hitting Cedar Point as it’s just outside the park.

We had a great time! The Employees were so nice! The activities' director went above and beyond to help us out! We rented the 3 bedroom lodge, it was clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again when we are in the area!

We always take the kiddos here before our annual cedar point trip. Nice location, lots of activities kids to do. My only recommendation would be to clean the ceiling fans and vents, they were caked with dust. It was super cold so when we turned the heat source on that blew out a lot of dust as well, and it being a small cabin caused my kid’s allergies to flair up.

Trim on ceiling falling down, moldy and dirty coffee pot and dead stink bugs everywhere. Staff was wonderful.

Our site had a beautiful view and good quality furniture. Only complaints are that the dog poo bags weren't always full and the kayak rentals were a little pricey. Staff were incredibly nice and informative.

Checked in to an unclean family circle park model dirty towels in the bathroom, dirty bedding still rolled on the beds. Floors not swept or moped. Place needs to be weeded too. Told front desk about dirty beds they brung us clean blankets and sheets that were still wet. Had to take back again.

Nice clean campground. The sites were pretty well spread out which is always nice not to be on top of each other. The staff was friendly and they had great activities for kids during our Saturday night in October. The only thing that could make it better would be if they could find a way to add a Miniature golf course. My kids love Miniature golf. I would defiantly stay here again.

The staff at the Sandusky KOA are very friendly! We stayed in a deluxe cabin, which was very clean, and the mattress in the master bedroom was quite comfortable! There are nice activities for kids to do on the weekends. This weekend was Halloween themed. There is also a snack bar, but we didn't eat there, so I'm not sure how the food is. We would definitely stay again.

The room was clean and as advertised. The bed was not super comfortable, and we couldn't get the heat to turn on so the nights were very cold. Though to be fair we never contacted the front desk for help, but it was not clear on how to do it. Would stay again if I had family staying in the RV portion again, but if not, I'd prefer a hotel.

Very friendly staff. Clean restrooms and showers. Some areas not kept up. Boxes stacked outside of restrooms. Our pet pen trash can was full of used doggie bags when we arrived. The pet pen also needed to be weed wacked. The trains were terrible. We understand that isn’t under their control but it was just too loud for us and went all night.

Pretty fun campground and a lot of amenities. Close to cedar point which I went to on one of the days during my stay. Very friendly staff and cleanliness what at least a 7 for restrooms and showers. There will be a return trip for sure.

We had a very good time at the campgrounds. There were a lot of activities for the kids. We were a bit disappointed with our cabin. The lower bunk bed system seemed to have a broken box spring and the mattresses were very uncomfortable. I know this is camping but I feel the mattresses should be looked at for future usage. The floors were also dirty. We will return withRV but maybe not rent

I truly loved the staff.. super friendly and attentive.. I wasn’t thrilled with the cabin.. the floors and walls ( trim in bathroom was dusty filthy.. I would have mopped but there was only a broom. So the amount I paid was absolutely waaay too much for what it turned out to be. I was told it was a cabin .. it was a dirty trailer.. it at best should have been 30 a night not 165.00 will NOT be ba

We love Sandusky KOA. This is our go to place to stay every time we come to Cedar Point. Our cabin could have used a little maintenance this time around but it was still great. Please look at the following things in D240...the toilet ran constantly as the flapper kept getting stuck on float, the deadbolt was broken and the window to the left of the door as you walk whistled when the wind blew

We had a wonderful stay! Rented a cabin and a campsite. Myself, husband, 86 year old grandmother, and 5 adult "children". We called and the staff was so accommodating! They made sure that our site and cabin were very close to each other. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star....went to bed Friday night and woke up at 6am to a cabin that was 56 degrees! The heat was not working!

Wanted to go see Lake Erie so took our camper and headed north. found this KOA located in the perfect location. Park was large, clean and pet friendly. We visited many local restaurants and bars. Fished everyday from various piers.

This review is based solely on our limited use of the campground. We were in town for a baseball tournament down the street at SportsForce Park, so we spent very limited time at the campground. The campground is less than one minute drive away from the sports complex! It is also less than a 10 minute drive to Cedar Point amusement park. We did not use any of the amenities during our visit, but I can tell you the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue with our site upon arrival and they took care of it for us without hesitation. We travel with a 36ft TT and were in site 114. The sites around us had plenty of room for large RVs plus plenty of room in between sites. The concrete pads with patio furniture were very nice.
