If you are looking for an easy, accessible San Antonio hike to enjoy with kids, the Salado Creek Greenway is a great option. The nearly 25-mile paved trail is part of the Howard W. Peak Greenway Trails system. Some trail segments connect to various parks, while others offer uninterrupted scenic views. It follows alongside the Salado Creek and, in some areas, offers beautiful city skyline vistas.
A little over a mile long, the Tower Loop trail in Comanche Lookout Park is an easy trek to see beautiful views of the city below.
