If you’ve just booked your first stay at the San Antonio / Alamo KOA — welcome! Whether you’re arriving in an RV, pitching a tent, or staying in one of our cabins, we want to make your first visit easy, relaxing, and fun. Here's what you can expect when camping with us for the first time:

Your Stay, Your Way

We offer several ways to stay:

  • Full Hookup RV Sites – Pull-thru and back-in options with water, sewer, electric, and patio choices
  • Water/Electric RV Sites – Convenient for smaller rigs or short stays
  • Cabins – Choose a cozy rustic camping cabin or a Deluxe Cabin with full bathroom and kitchen
  • Tent Sites – Shaded, spacious sites with nearby restrooms and showers

No matter how you camp, the Alamo KOA gives you the freedom to relax, explore, and enjoy being outdoors — with plenty of comfort included.

Amenities You’ll Love

We’re also just five miles from the Alamo and River Walk if you’d like to explore downtown San Antonio.

Traveling with Pets?

We are a pet-friendly campground and have a fenced KampK9® dog park onsite, plus grassy walking areas throughout the park.

Helpful Reminders for First-Timers

  • Check-in times: RV and Tent Sites usually begin at 1 PM; Cabins begin at 3 PM
  • Quiet hours begin at 10 PM — a great time for a campfire, conversation, and stargazing
  • Bring sunscreen, water, your favorite lawn chair and comfy shoes
  • Our front desk team is happy to help with site questions, local tips, food delivery info or anything else you need
