The KOA facilities are great but Salt Lake City was full of homeless people a drug users - the Loves gas station had private security - the City itself seems crime ridden

Site easy to get in and out of. Lots of trees for shade. Bathroom/showers clean. Only negative is bathroom/showers felt like the heater was on. Nice dog run.

Pool was very nice with cold water for the heat that was outside. Play areas were run down. Missing pieces got the games. Video arcade was disappointing. Very few games worked. We booked a delux spot and we had very little shade. Very good for what we needed.

Tiny tiny dead grass areas around campsites. Not even room to set up two chairs. Rest rooms were extremely hot. Didn’t seem to have AC.

I was not as pleased with this KOA as I have been with most. It was a very tight campgrounds and we asked for a pull-thru. The site was too short and we had to unhook our jeep and barely could squeeze it in sideways behind the coach. The turf dog area was very nasty with dried diarhea spots...only went in once and my three dogs were vomiting all the next day. Shade trees are best part of park.

This park is conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. It was incredibly well kept and efficiently run. This campground is HUGE and seems to have a permanent resident park connected to it…all very well taken care of. We absolutely would stay here again!

I stayed in a tent site. It was very clean, flat and didn’t have to prep the ground before setting up the tent. Bathrooms were conveniently located in the KOA and very clean. The campground was quiet after dark and enjoyed the fireworks show from the tent. Free coffee and pancakes were perfect before getting back on the road. Only thing that wasn’t 100% perfect was the restroom building close to the dog park area, men’s and women’s sides were both very hot!

It was good, would have been great if there was grass. It was muddy. Also very disappointed in what they called a pancake breakfast and no place to sit down to eat it.

This KOA is in a great location in SLC - too bad the maintenance worker parked his golf/work cart in the open site next to us and smoked cigarettes & watched his phone - subjecting us to the stench of cigarettes

Fantastic situation right next to the train station. We took the day pass and could visit this nice city. Of course we relaxed at the pool. Great KOA team. I recommend. Plus the campsite was under shade and calm.

The jury is out! This is my second time here at Salt Lake City KOA. The first time was on June 7. When I checked in, the person gave me the smallest and unleveled site possible. The same when I checked in July 19. They gave me a site that is also not level and couldn’t fit my trailer and tow vehicle. They were hanging out on both front and back. I hope it is not because of my skin color!

Upon arriving, we were greeted, and the check-in process was nice and smooth. The only issue we had was that the lady who checked us in after asking us where we were from replied with a snarky “eww”. That offended us. The last thing that I will add is that the grass was overgrown, and in my opinion should’ve been mowed.

3.5 Stars. Great for one night. We were asked to rate based solely on the koa itself so here it is- it’s clean, well kept. Most guests seem to stop and stay overnight. Rec center had game room but half of the games were out of order and broken. Wasps took over outdoors and rec areas, I understand it’s outside but made it hard to be outside. Warning would be nice. Surrounding area is okay.

Really nice park with full concrete pad and picnic area for our pull thru site. Well stocked store with great staff. Free coffee and pancakes every morning. Clean laundry room. Very hot during our stay (90’s), but good shade with trees at every site.

We arrived and let our dog out after a long trip. Unfortunately, the tree he peed on was covered in sap! The ground around it at our site was also COVERED. He got sap in between all of his paws. All of his hair was clumped together. I spent the next couple of hours soaking his paws trying to get it out. Lots of trees at this campground are like that.WARN people. CONS: We were placed at a hookup spot closest to the front of the property/street, so it was very noisy (we have tent beds). Unsure if towards the back is quieter. We heard the train every hour or two, every big truck, every motorcycle, and every other loud car. They could benefit from big tall concrete walls to help with privacy as well as noise. PROS: Everything else about this KOA is exceptional. The bathrooms and showers were clean and nice quality, screaming hot showers. A big KOA so they put a second large set of showers and bathrooms in the middle. Trees and street lights. Nice place to walk around. Plenty of things for the kids to do: some games and outdoor activities in the mid section by the second bathrooms, playground and pool in the front, and an arcade style room in the front. A really nice dog section with dog washing station and a fenced area for them to play. Hot tub! Great hours for the playground (fenced inside the pool area), pool, and hot tub 9am-9pm. Great walkability and nearby restaurants and things to walk to.

Just stayed one night, traveling through, have stayed at a lot of koa and I have to say this one is outstanding. Besides being clean it had extras such as a dog wash station, fully stocked store, super clean restrooms. Highly recommend
