The lower reading on this is only because of the location! The facilities were nice and clean, and the staff was very friendly! It’s just not a great spot to explore the city or even really walk out of the KOA.

It'd be really great if you put tent sites further from the busy roads. An RV could easily block out the same noises that my tent can't. And the lights everywhere are very difficult to black out with just a tent.

Check in was easy and very informative. Park was beautiful with many mature trees, grass, a dog run, and great showers/bathroom. Everything I would want in a campground!

Second time in several weeks we stayed this KOA. Its location is perfect for exploring Salt Lake City. There’s a stop for the light rail line just a few steps away. The sites were large and well kept.

Campground was very large. We can usually navigate from a map, but this one was confusing, and we couldn't find the site. We had to go back to the office (it's pretty tight in the campground) and ask for an escort. Given the size of the campground, that should have been a given.

3 stars due to the long-term units that rode their motorcycle around the park at midnight and was reving the engine and then stayed outside talking until 1am. Please enforce quiet time with them. We expected someone to come talk to them. They disturbed a lot of guests.

Huge park,. No road noise. Very well maintained. Each spot had grass and a tree. Spaces were level and long enough for our truck and 30 foot rv. All the usual KOA amenities. Expensive, but a good stop for a night or two.

Angie stood out by going above and beyond assisting me with some additional attention, required to secure my gear so that I could get my truck into a repair shop. Angie is a good ambassador for KOA. Others complain herein about train noise? I did not find that to be of concern. It is a large KOA, well maintained and a friendly staff.

i rented a cabin. there was NO bed linen or towels and wash provided. i rented a bigger canin for half the price in Moab the week before that provided everything a hotel does except for a bathroom.

We love staying at the Salt Lake KOA. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The park is beautiful and so well kept. We have stayed at many rv parks and the dog park is the cleanest and nicest one we’ve seen. Our dogs love it! The fact that this park is in a city as busy as Salt Lake is amazing because it’s so well hidden it doesn’t feel like you are in a city! Wonderful place!

This is one of our favorite RV Parks. We stayed in a “buddy” site and it was beautiful… the entire park is beautiful. If you like relaxing under tree shade, and we do, you can’t beat this park as they have lot of trees, which is a rarity. sites have cement pads I used the laundry - clean and robust.

There are not enough words to describe how great the Salt Lake City KOA was to us on our travel adventure! Great location, close to downtown but yet quiet for sleeping. The staff was welcoming & helped us enroll in KOA Rewards for future travel. Special shout out to Aleisha, Angie & Sierra for their assistance & kindness! The park was nice and well established. However, is not in the best part of town. Our site was not big enough to fit our fifth wheel and truck even though I made a registration with the sizes of both.

Access was a challenge but that may have just been Google. A very nice staff and well stocked store. Free pancakes and coffee. The site is narrow strip of asphalt. Level but my steps were in the mud. The dog park is nice. A safe place to recharge.

About the only KOA that we have been too that does not enforce rules. Motorcycles running 30 and 40 miles an hour through the camp nearly hitting kids and yet they did not get removed - the next night same motorcycle doing wheelies in the camp. Also this KOA does not pick up trash bags from campers as all the others we have been to do.

A pleasant place to stay with lots of trees. Next visit will try to reserve a patio site which provides a little more space and some have fire pits. Only downside is had some trouble with our Starlink probably because of the obstruction from the trees. The cable was “snowy.” Staff always friendly and helpful. Will stay there again….

Love the showers and bathrooms. There was hot water and great water pressure. The only down side was the dog park. It could have used a hosing down.

I use KOAs for overnight from the interstate when on road trips. This is the most expensive one I have ever stayed at. I was in a small tent type site, electricity only which was fine. My only request (both at booking and when I arrived) was to be near the restroom. I was equal distance from either one - so no accommodation and there were sites available. Disappointed.

We stayed in a tent site and the bus station behind our site was so incredibly noisy all night. The policy on fires at personal sites was unclear I was attacked in the women's restroom at night and it took the night watchman over 30mins to return my call and take action

I tent camped one night while traveling cross county. I've stayed at KOAs across the US and SLC KOA is by far my favorite. The campground is close to the interstate but not right on it, so no road noise. Best of all, as a solo female traveler, I felt safe and slept through the night. Kudos SLC KOA!

There were lots of trees making nice shade. They provided cable TV w/numerous channels. They have a large laundry facility. The Light Rail was very near the KOA making it very convient to get to Temple Square & other areas.

This was a pleasure to stay at, the campground is set up very professionally and has large quadruple driveway area to allow for checking in and departing. There are trees at every spot making it look so inviting, like an orchard with picnic tables and the spots were well spaced. The store is well stocked and we were able to get some wheel blocks we needed. Overall a very nice place. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA Holiday in a Motorhome.
