The campground itself was clean and quiet. My son loved the arcade and games offered. The location is interesting, and a bit surprising. But other than the train at 3 am we hardly noticed that we were in the middle of the city. If ever in salt lake again we would return here. Thank you

This is our favorite park. The layout, mature trees and shade, paved roads, etc. only begin to describe it. The manager is fabulous, also. We recommend it!

Beautiful campground. Very clean. Very well maintained. Friendly and courteous staff. Definitely would stay here again. Highly recommend.

The tent site was tidy and the bathrooms were clean. Note that when you check in after 8pm, there's not a sign where to find the night registration. It's back behind the main office. I would recommend that KOA add that information and the night manager phone number to the reminder email and text message. Otherwise it was great!

It is a large and old park. The area we were assigned is the same as the one we stayed in about 25 years ago. The only difference is that the trees are bigger. The sites are narrow and aged. Not much change in this area. The area around the park is run down with allot of derelicts on the streets. The park cant help this problem but it could really use some updating.

Very nice well maintained campground. In city but fairly easy to get to. Friendly staff. Free morning pancakes. Decent sites. Enjoyed the campground

Called to reserve a spot, lady was very friendly and helpful. Checking in was a breeze. Have stayed here several times and will forward staying again.

Kind staff, great pool, short tram ride into town, SLC is clean and safe and has beautiful buildings

Employee at check in was more interested in talking to fellow employee than taking care of customer. When making reservation, we stated we had 34' fifthwheels, but once disconnected long bed truck would not fit in camp site. RV pads are very uneven due to age and tree roots. We saw fellow campers moving to other sites since could not get level. Not many options in the area

Park was very well maintained with plenty of amenities. I appreciated the park rules, especially pertaining to barking dogs. The only problem was that site 1102, closest to the office, had a dog that basically never stopped barking. Saw several employees walk by the site but made no effort to correct the problem.

The check in staff were lovely and helpful. I asked for help with laundry later on in the stay and the staff were dismissive and rude. The even gentleman who helped with a broken dryer was extremely helpful. The site is very noisy and my toddler woke up every 2 hours or with the frequency of the train/tram even with white noise.

Very nice campground, nice pool and hottub (the gates and signs do look like a prison though). Staff is okay, showers can use an upgrade, and the train??? What can i say about it. It crosses like 20 times a night and honks about 30 times a night. Somewhere next to the campground �� I know they cant change anything about it, but it does influence your nights...

Booked 39 foot coach with Toad for a pull through. Put in a spot that barely held a 39 foot so we had to drop. Why would someone stay one night. Book a pull through and then wan5 to disconect. We also booked a buddy site. The placed us with doors facing away from each other. Really? Getting real tired of the KOA regulations and up charges. Half the time the koa campgrounds service is poor

We were in a patio site with chairs, table, fire pit and Gazebo - quite lovely and roomy. The park is well maintained, the bathrooms are very clean. Nice playground for kids. Did not use the pool or hot tub, but, area looked great. Good sized dog park with Astro turf, a little smelly but better than rocks! We will stay there again!

Friends and family gathered in campers and cabins for a celebration of my husband. Fabulous time was had by all. Amazing staff and wonderful campground!

Great Campground! Loved everything about it. Pool was very nice. Sites were paved and level. Trees everywhere. We had a nice shady spot. I would highly recommend!

Great stay. Like others have said, it may not appear to be in the best part of town, but I felt completely safe as a solo female traveler. Lived the close proximity to TRAX. Noise from traffic, airport, trains and TRAX were not noticeable in my trailer. Clean bathrooms/showers. Close quarters, but it’s a KOA so I wasn’t expecting privacy. For a city center KOA, it was 5 star.

Very good, one night, stay. We had two cars and had to park one up front which was disconcerting given the warnings of theft. In the end, all went well.

Stayed 1 night, took in the unheated pool, hot tub use great, small for the size of the campground. Showers and rest rooms clean, friendly staff.

Nice. Always enjoy staying there. Construction nearby kind of loud but the park can’t control that.

Nice large sites. Beautiful pool and hot tub. Nice play area for kids. Loved they had pickleball courts. So very well taken care of.

CONS: We were placed at a hookup spot closest to the front of the property/street, so it was very noisy (we have tent beds). Unsure if towards the back is quieter. We heard the train every hour or two, every big truck, every motorcycle, and every other loud car. They could benefit from big tall concrete walls to help with privacy as well as noise. PROS: Everything else about this KOA is exceptional. The bathrooms and showers were clean and nice quality, screaming hot showers. A big KOA so they put a second large set of showers and bathrooms in the middle. Trees and street lights. Nice place to walk around. Plenty of things for the kids to do: some games and outdoor activities in the mid section by the second bathrooms, playground and pool in the front, and an arcade style room in the front. A really nice dog section with dog washing station and a fenced area for them to play. Hot tub! Great hours for the playground (fenced inside the pool area), pool, and hot tub 9am-9pm. Great walkability and nearby restaurants and things to walk to.

Just stayed one night, traveling through, have stayed at a lot of koa and I have to say this one is outstanding. Besides being clean it had extras such as a dog wash station, fully stocked store, super clean restrooms. Highly recommend
