Very nice people running this KOA. Very quiet at night in that I was the only tent. My only comment would be to consider putting up some sort of a privacy fence between the tent spots and maintencance. Not a great view looking at lawn mowers and the like. In additon when one of them starts up a major sand and dirt storm covered my site.

Had to call and change dates due to scheduling issues, very easy and was able to change. Kids were not able to use the pool. Site was cleaned and ready for us when we arrived. Nice/quiet tent camping spot.

Bathrooms are clean and showers nice. The office sells pizza and delicious ice cream by the cup or cone, both items being welcome after driving for hours. Staff were friendly. We were fortunate enough to be there for their Thanksgiving meal, which was amazing. The only downside of tent camping was the condition of the roads (paths?) leading to the sites.

Really nice and quiet place to stay, the guys here work very hard all day to keep it in great shape. I stayed at a tent site that was better than most state parks!

I only stay1 night but it was great. Really quiet and clean. Excellent bathrooms and showers. Was my first time at a KOA and thanks to this place, I'll be on the lokout for more!!

Tent sites are the worst I've ever stayed at...too close to one another and being behind the maintenance shop with all ite clutter was an eye sore...

A beautiful campground. The location quiet and shaded. The hosts were friendly/welcoming and there were lots of things to do while there; walks, dog park area, picnic/BBQpavillion, pool, a community room for games and Saturday morning community breakfast served by the hosts and staff. Even had go carts for rent!! The bathrooms, shower rooms and laundry room were all in very clean condition.,

When we arrived, Bill showed us to our site, he met our son and my psychiatric service dog who was wearing her vest. The next day, he kicked us out of the pool area because my service dog was sitting near the table. He said a group of ladies was coming and the dog could not be there when they arrived. While we were packing up to leave, he sat at the shed watching us pack up. It was unsettling

The stay was more than expectation with clean bathroom and shower facilities. One note would be that the elevated tent area is not even and paved. You can’t peg your tent.

I really enjoyed my time here! Grounds were amazing! Clean showers, breakfast in the am, bbq, hidden blackberry bushes, and lots of room! Was at the Russian rock festival during this time, and there wasn't a single thing to complain about. The weather was perfect as well, so this was definitely a good time for the festival. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating!

This was my first time visiting Rusk KOA. It was WELL worth the long drive from Dallas. I had one of the primitive sites with a fire pit and it was amazing and comfortable. The trees are beautiful and the ground was covered in pine needles that made it so soft, almost like a carpet. I comfortably walked barefoot. The customer service at Rusk KOA is literally unmatched and everyone was so nice!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They were understanding and flexible about where we could motorcycle camp due to the weather. Highly recommend Rusk KOA.

Beautiful tent/rustic cabins/TeePee sites. Staff very friendly and kind, showers are awesome, decent WiFi. Clubhouse open 24/7 with fridge and stove available to campers. It was a lovely visit and will come back.

We loved the KOA in Rusk Texas. Very very nice and nestled right the piney woods of East Texas. The staff was wonderful and the campsite was very clean. We will be back for sure. Thank you for a wonderful stay

Great place to camp in the Piney Woods of east Texas! Beautiful area, well-kept grounds, clean restrooms and showers. Nice laundry area. The staff welcomes with smiles and even deliver pizza to your RV, tent site, or to one of the cabins or teepees. Everyone loves the pool, too. Perfect place for a getaway or a gathering of family and friends. Delicious Saturday breakfasts. A most enjoyable stay.

Great visit! Everyone was helpful and nice, and the kids loved the activities. The pine trees and crape myrtle are beautiful. I love this campground and will definitely be back!

I went camping with my 2 grandsons , it was a great 4 days and 3 nights . We did the mine shifting and the peddle go karts . Pam was very attentive and gave me booklets when I asked about other KOA’s . My wife and I are going to visit one renting a cabin . Keep up the good work , and I hope you all seen that we left the site better than when we got there .

The Rusk KOA Campground is a nice spot surrounded by trees. I think the trees and seclusion are the best features. We also thought the tipis and cabins were attractive and well sited.

The site was lovely. The tent area was nestled under pine trees and were nicely spaced. The facilities were clean and the staff super nice. Too bad I was there for only one night.

We have stayed at Rusk KOA several times and have always had an enjoyable time. The folks that run the campground are very friendly. This campground is set back in the pine trees of east Texas and it is a nice, quiet place to relax. They have walking trails, a salt-water swimming pool, a swing-set for the kids. They have on-site Propane to refill your bottles, if needed. Will definitely go back.
