Our GPS sent us to the wrong coordinates we called after hours and the staff answered and gave us correct coordinates. The cabin was perfect. After a long drive nice to relax. Thank you for all you do. Keep up the good work. Staff is very friendly.

We actually live the KOA but our cabin had portable AC’s that did not cool sufficiently making our stay miserable!

Everything was acceptable except the bed. Could not sleep most of the night. Everything & everyone sunk directly in the middle. Very uncomfortable & hard to get into & out of. Besides that, everything else was good

Not to good this time , grass was tall ,bee's nest was on front porch ,had ac temperature set ,so when it was 100 degrees it was hot inside, very disappointed always come thru here .

We stayed in the duplex cabin on our way home from NW Arkansas. It was nice to have a bathroom and mini kitchen as well as towels and linens provided. It made our late arrival and early departure so much easier. Everything was clean and we'll maintained. We'll stop again since we travel to and from Arkansas fairly often.

Everything was great, the experience at KOA in general, the property and everything was prepared just for us, and we really enjoyed the stay and would come again to the same house, just hope there will be more properties on the campground, since I see they getting rented pretty quick :)

Too expensive for what is provided. At least a hotel room provides in room coffee. $16.00 for linen, seriously! $15.00 for frozen pizza. Ridiculous!

The hot water in the cabin did not last very long. Only long enough to w rinse off. Not really enough time to bathe.

Easter weekend to do the Easter train ride. Met friends at the campgrounds. Cabin was clean and stocked well. The owners are super friendly. The hot breakfast on Saturday was very good. They let us use the dining area Saturday night to play games and hang out. They do have a shuttle that can take you to the Palestine Depot for $10 a person. It rained Saturday so we didn’t get to enjoy the outd

We love this KOA and adore the staff. They are so kind and intentional every time we visit. We stayed in the deluxe cabins for the first time and it was perfect. Stocked w/ basics in the kitchen, linens, things like that. We love the tent camping spots as well! Everything is so close to the activities, such as the pool and park, making it a safe place for kids to play and parents to relax.

I really wish they would update the AC in the small cabins. They're very loud and struggle to make cool air even when it was in the 60's at night.

Loved it!! Everyone was very friendly, especially Jack the owner. I stayed in a cabin that was very clean and cozy. I plan on going back again. Beautiful scenery around the area.

Primary and bathroom were very nice and clean. However couch bed and bunk beds were not clean. There was dog hair and popcorn left in both. Kitchenette was well maintained and useful.

3 night stay in cabin. Had a wonderful relaxing weekend. Store could be better stocked, but it is the off season. Definitely would stay again.

I rented the deluxe cabin using the app. Arrived at the main office after hours, but my paperwork and directions to the cabin were waiting for me. The cabin was perfect for my and a friend as we were traveling through on a motorcycle trip. We were able to cook a good meal in the kitchen and then get a good night's sleep. The cabin was neat and clean. Thank you.

We stayed at KOA in Rusk, Texas and it is always so enjoyable. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is always so good there. Always a pleasure to stay there.

We stayed one night on the way to NW AR. The cabin w/bathroom and kitchenette allowed us to make dinner before we went to bed and breakfast before we left in the morning. That saved us a lot of time. The cabin was clean, warm, and comfortable with enough room for us and our dogs. The only negatives were that the bed was hard and the outlet on the porch was broken and unusable. We'll stay again!

We stayed in the cabin we stayed in before because we like the “lay out”. The cabin are always extremely clean which is another reason we like them. My only wish is I wish there would be “perhaps” two bottles of water. Tap water is “ok” but that is just a wish. GREAT place to stay and love that they honor my husband as a veteran.

Took my son and his buddy for his 16th birthday, everyone had a great time! Boys stayed in the tipi which was a cool experience and still very comfortable even in the cold weather, and our cabin was excellent. The surrounding area also offered for a lot of exploring, will definitely be back!

Always make Rusk KOA our first stop on a camping trip from our home in Austin or last stop on our way home -- whether traveling with our trailer or staying in the cabins. Nice, well maintained facilities and nice layout. Also try to catch the Saturday morning breakfast -- a very nice plus.

Love having extras in cabin bathroom shower coffee pots kitchenette I usually stay in a basic rustic Room for the dogs HUGE dog run area they loved it! Quiet area Only issue- no plugin near the bathroom mirror Couldnt reach w curling iron plugged in @ the table to see what I was doing Comfy bed Friendly staff

Stayed 2 nights in October 2025. Everything was great! We stayed in a deluxe cabin and it had everything we needed. The grounds are well maintained and had several activities offered. It was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely stay here again!

We stay at the Rusk KOA a lot. This time was not as nice as it normally is. We came back to our cabin Saturday afternoon and there was about 20+ cars parked at and around our rustic cabins, which totally ruined the view. The power was out for several hours. The office said it was open until 8p but no one ever came back to the office.

The area was very nice. The cabin was ok but the bathroom was rather small and there was no sink in the bathroom so we had to brush our teeth in the kitchen sink. The mattress was also very worn and a dent in the middle so it was uncomfortable.

Beautiful property to relax in nature and have a quiet enjoyable weekend. Our cabin 01 was very clean and kept cool. Plus, they offered a home cooked breakfast for purchase in the clubhouse that was simply outstanding!! These folks are incredibly nice and told us many fun facts about the local town. All in all we would love to come back and camp here in our tent next time (when it's cooler).

We have stayed at Rusk KOA several times and have always had an enjoyable time. The folks that run the campground are very friendly. This campground is set back in the pine trees of east Texas and it is a nice, quiet place to relax. They have walking trails, a salt-water swimming pool, a swing-set for the kids. They have on-site Propane to refill your bottles, if needed. Will definitely go back.
