Overall it was very good. The cabin I stayed in was clean and very comfortable, except for the flies. The problem is that there were no lights (at night) in the location of my cabin. It was verry dark and I did not feel safe or comfortable walking to the cabin at night. Management really does need to have more lights on the grounds at night.

Enjoy my stay at our Family Reunion. The breakfast was $12 all you can eat pancakes. Bacon, sausage, egg, biscuits and potatoes served. Very tasty

Great stay at Rusk KOA. Beautiful wooded campsite, we had plenty of shade. It was quiet and relaxing. The salt water pool was the perfect temperature. Really nice people running the place as well made it enjoyable.

Smaller than anticipated. Was excited because it said the cabin view was of the new catch and release Pond, was disappointed to find out the pond has not been constructed yet. AC in bedroom was not working, but there was a floor unit.the front of the cabin was hot, we were under the impression that the ac was not Working, but next day was told it was. Charged 36 for linen thought linen in cabin

Nice and quiet park with a pool to swim in. We enjoyed our stay for sure! The only thing that would be better is if WiFi reached all around campground. I had some work to do and I was unable to connect to the WiFi. No big deal though, I got it figured out.

This place is amazing! I loved it. I was booked for one night but added another night as it's just a perfect place. Special shout out to Claudette and Dallas for their amazing hospitality! Can't wait to come back.

The staff was wonderful. We arrived after a huge rain fall and they made sure to put us in a dry spot. They text to let us know the shop was about to close. The salt water pool was wonderful.

Everything was ok except for the bed. The bed was to high. The pillow was very lumpy. The other pillow was to big.

Cabin 4, a duplex deluxe cabin, was very clean and comfortable. Linens were provided for the shower. Small kitchenette was clean and included minimal dishes and cookware. A small table and 2 dining chairs were in the cabin. Very comfortable mattress on bed. Small deck had a table and 2 chairs. The staff at this KOA were very helpful and pleasant.

The bed is the worst possible bed ever to sleep on. We stayed for 3 nights and both of us were miserable. Of course not the campgrounds fault but power went out twice over the course of our 3 day stay. If you want space the cabins for two are super small and tight living even if it is for 3 nights.

Second time that we have rented the clubhouse and had a/c problems. 1 unit was not working and the one that was had the vents to the room closed and were too high for us to reach.

We really enjoy staying at Rusk. The sites are always good, clean, and well maintained. They staff is always friendly and helpful. The hand scooped ice cream prices are outrageous. That’s the only drawback.

We stayed one night while traveling to our final destination. Our cabin had an issue and we were moved to a different one. Very clean cabins. Lawn was maintained nicely, staff was friendly and welcoming it was easy to find.

I really enjoyed my time here! Grounds were amazing! Clean showers, breakfast in the am, bbq, hidden blackberry bushes, and lots of room! Was at the Russian rock festival during this time, and there wasn't a single thing to complain about. The weather was perfect as well, so this was definitely a good time for the festival. Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and accommodating!

This was my first time visiting Rusk KOA. It was WELL worth the long drive from Dallas. I had one of the primitive sites with a fire pit and it was amazing and comfortable. The trees are beautiful and the ground was covered in pine needles that made it so soft, almost like a carpet. I comfortably walked barefoot. The customer service at Rusk KOA is literally unmatched and everyone was so nice!

Very friendly and accommodating staff during our Airstream rally. The campground is quiet with beautiful trees. All amenities are professionally done with thought to details. Look forward to staying here again

What a delightful campground tucked away in a pine forest in the beautiful community of Rusk. The manager was personable, efficient and helpful in getting me to my site. The grounds were meticulously cared for and everything was clean and well maintained. The restrooms, showers, clubhouse and even kitchen sinks were appealing and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again! Good job KOA Rus

We had a rally here with about 50 people in our group. Jack and his staff cooked 3 delicious meals for us. They als o provided shuttles to the Texas State Railroad depot in Palestine. They were helpful and kind. Facilities were awesome clean. Highly recommend for rallies!

We have stayed at Rusk KOA several times and have always had an enjoyable time. The folks that run the campground are very friendly. This campground is set back in the pine trees of east Texas and it is a nice, quiet place to relax. They have walking trails, a salt-water swimming pool, a swing-set for the kids. They have on-site Propane to refill your bottles, if needed. Will definitely go back.
