Our stay was enjoyable, with the exception of fairly large dogs running around the park without leases. It seems that the rule for all dogs to be on a lease does not apply to everyone. The staff and maintenance guys, Bill and Dallas, were phenomenal.

All those great reviews? Believe them! Nice park - even on a cold rainy day. We only stayed one night but everything was top notch with very friendly & helpful managers.

This is a quite and peaceful RV park. It is well kept and clean. Our group enjoyed using the rec room, which was clean and well equipped. We plan on coming here again.

Beautiful campground with spacious sites and gorgeous views. Very quiet and the facilities were well maintained and very clean. Had a delicious pancake breakfast on Saturday which was a nice treat. We enjoyed our stay in the cabin over the weekend and look forward to stay there again!!

Hospitality by the owners/employees was top-notch. Stress-free campout knowing help was available if needed. Will definitely be back and will definitely recommend this park.

Staff is very helpful, grounds and sites are lovely, and clubhouse is spacious. I also enjoyed the breakfast offered on Sat. Morning. All in all, a delightful stay����

This was one of the nicest and cleanest KOA I have ever been too. Staff was super nice. Breakfast was awesome and gave you plenty of food. Staff at registration was nice. Beautiful place.

If I could rate this campground a 10 I would. Extremely clean, sharp, modern facilities. Topnotch owners and staff. Friendly and efficient. Beautiful setting. We have stayed at over 50 KOA campgrounds over the last 2 years and this one is one of the top 5. They really understand what customers are looking for and deliver it. We have recommended it to friends over other campgrounds we stayed at.

Arriving right after a large rain storm, because of our dogs w decided to pay for a patio site off-season with the KOA discount $75 not usable still stepped out of the coach into the mud. We needed to stay another day and try to negotiate a better deal on an off-season site with nobody staying there and they were very unwilling to move on the price ended up moving to another site at $47 same thing

We loved the cabin we stayed in this year!! As always with the Rusk KOA it was immaculately clean and very comfortable. This is the 4th year we have stayed in them around the Christmas holidays for our get-to-gether with family. We highly recommend them for a reasonable, extremely clean and comfortable beds!! This location is very easy to get to for those who need accommodations in this area.

KOA Holiday has a very hospitable atmosphere soon as your drive up. Staff is extremely accommodating to whatever needs you present to them. Definitely will come back next year for the Hunter’s special as I have done so since 2017.

We really like the park, and need to come up when the weather is more favorable. Breakfast was outstanding. If I had one complaint, it would be that my camper drains were lower than the connections to offload the tanks. No big deal, just had to work the hoses a little more. Thank you for the stay.

Quaint little campground located minutes from a town with everything you need. The cabin we stayed in was perfect for my husband, myself and 2 dogs. Loved the bark park and walking trail. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

We stayed here a few years ago and it was a great campground. Now it seems to have run down with a lot of full timers with a lot of junk. Also there "rally" site seemed to be taken over by full timers with junk. We are full timers but we don't store junk and trash around our RV. It seemed to us that the whole place just needs a lot of cleaning and TLC. Probably would not stay there again.

Our stay was great! The showers and bathrooms were clean and available close by our site. We were disappointed to find out though there was no cable available to the camp site. This was the same problem we encountered on our last stay. Maybe next time.

Rusk KOA always is either the first or last stop on a trip from or to the Austin area. Very nicely maintained and spacious camp sites and cabins (when not traveling with our trailer) help make staying at the Rusk KOA relaxing and pleasant.

Great KOA! Nice space between the sites and hookups are in just the right spot. The grands loved the playground and the shuttle to the train was a very nice perk. Quiet! Clean! Super friendly hosts! You won’t regret booking here at all.

We were just here for one night. But this park does not live up to the KOA standards we are accustomed to seeing. Fire ant mounds in the area right outside our RV. And trees not maintained so they can be avoided when driving through.

Beautiful park. Very friendly staff who went out of the way to ensure our after hours welcome was smooth and efficient. The park and its facilities are top notc and exactly what we have come to expect from KOA Holidays. We will for sure be back... That being said, we were in a site that had the sewer evelated way above the camper making dumping very challenging. Would never want that sire again.

Nice campground, nice people. The amount they charge $79 per night per site. Is way out offline? I would not stay there because of the cost. Normal KOA's are $50 a night.

Stayed 2 nights at this great little park. Site 51 was a perfect pull thru for our 44 ft 5th wheel, Ford f350 dually and Honda CRV. FHU was great. Staff was super friendly. Pizza was surely a plus with on site delivery! Loved the Saturday morning breakfast - scotch eggs were the bomb! Don't miss this gem of a park. We'll be back when in the area again!!

We have stayed at Rusk KOA several times and have always had an enjoyable time. The folks that run the campground are very friendly. This campground is set back in the pine trees of east Texas and it is a nice, quiet place to relax. They have walking trails, a salt-water swimming pool, a swing-set for the kids. They have on-site Propane to refill your bottles, if needed. Will definitely go back.
