I was only going to stay one night in a cabin, but it was so nice, cozy and relaxing I decided to stay for an extra night!

We liked this KOA very much. Many roomy long level sites. Very nice facilities. It's quiet here. Very little traffic noise, so you can listen to the birds sing and the breeze blowing through the trees.

People were great campground could use some TLC we were on site 1 was so uneven that my tires on the left side were 8” inches off the ground

We didn't have a lot of time to explore however, we enjoyed the trails and hot showers. Bathrooms were clean and the park was well off the main road. Overall very well maintained.

Enjoyed stays here in past. Camper in next site cranked a car that wouldn’t start and our camper filled with gas fumes on arrival. Next day mechanic parked truck on our site, inches from our trailer. Arrived back after dark and work lights were set up. Mechanic worked on car noon until after 10 pm. Car started and engine roared after quiet times. Next morning cranking car resumed—went home!

Our apology for the inconvenience. We do not allow our campers to do repair work in the park and this incidence has be delt with.

This particular stay was just OK. We have stayed at this location many times, including family reunions and it’s always been pleasant. This particular time, I was forced to move locations after completely setting up my 5th wheel. They did not have my reservations, after speaking with the employee on 2 different occasions. I was greeted with a rude employee & everything seemed to be uncharacteris

We only stayed one night but wished we could have stayed longer. The staff was super friendly. The kids absolutely loved it & plenty of activities for them to do. Everything was great. The cabin was perfect. We can't wait to stay again.

Pleasant office staff. Best Christmas float in the Santa Claus parade. Super clean bathroom and showers. Good laundry room. Site was fine.

Thank you for the survey. We here, do our best to give all of our campers respect and friendliness. However sometimes when a camper comes in and becomes very rude because of our early check-in policy. As it was in your case, the rudeness you showed to us, we waived the fee. Happy camping!

Great friendly staff. Quiet clean campground. Fresh hot pizza delivered to your site. Free pancake breakfast on Saturdays.

PROS: Easy check in check out, great location, loved the cabin. Staff so helpful, even brought a charcoal grill to our site. Beautiful view, fun hiking trails. Will definitely be back.. Cons: No storage space with shelves (closet had some but no hangers, maybe under the stair storage?) The smoke alarm was triggered whenever the oven was opened, no smoke just heat.

Very friendly & helpful staff, well kept grounds, 10-20 feet between trailers, very well laid out so your neighbors utility connections are not in your front door. This was our 3rd stay here and we will be back.

I would like to give a shout out to the Best Managers and staff at any KOA we have stayed at. The campground was quiet, very clean, nice amenities, so relaxing…and the Thanksgiving Dinner for the campers and staff was very much appreciated, I had never seen so many smiles, and the laughter we heard, was wonderful. Just loved how kid friendly the place is. The employees are so sweet. The yellow pinecone search is such a great idea. The kids and adults loved looking for them. The Sat breakfast was amazing as well

Site was roomy, fairly level. Owners/Managers were friendly and helpful. Utilities worked fine, other campers were very friendly and welcoming.

The Rusk KOA Campground is a nice spot surrounded by trees. I think the trees and seclusion are the best features. We also thought the tipis and cabins were attractive and well sited.

Surprise at the terrain you were able to use, nicely done. Came in at 5:30, left at 0700 there was no shower house code available or way to get code which is the primary reason I choose KOA. They always have clean nice facilities. I didn't leave my cc # on registration, but called later the next day and paid over the phone.

Outstanding, never stayed at a KOA that was far enough away from major populations, yet close enough to go to locations in order to see the Texas attractions we came there to see. Very relaxing.

We have stayed at Rusk KOA several times and have always had an enjoyable time. The folks that run the campground are very friendly. This campground is set back in the pine trees of east Texas and it is a nice, quiet place to relax. They have walking trails, a salt-water swimming pool, a swing-set for the kids. They have on-site Propane to refill your bottles, if needed. Will definitely go back.
