We unfortunately arrived well after dark, unable to find our site. An off-duty staff member drove out and guided us to an available site. We had reserved a site for our 40 ft. motorhome, but assigned a site entirely too small. All's well that ends well, though. WiFi was inoperative. I was told repair would not be done for at least 4 months. Unacceptable. Staff was very helpful & friendly.

Tree limbs over interior road and some campsites. Had to move 3 times to find no limbs on our roof. Some pads need fresh gravel and removal of weeds. Love the pine forest behind the office but pine needles need to be cleaned up around the tent picnic tables. Also, no cable TV, but I recall there used to be, and there is an outlet for it. Utilities functional, high water pressure.

This was the 10th year for our family to enjoy a weekend in Rusk. This year we loved the live music and the kindness of the owner making a fire in the fire pit so we and other families could enjoy s’mores during the concert. Wonderful, wonderful place to unwind and rest from busy lives. Thank you!! See you next October.

It was a short stay but very pleasant... neatly arranged campground, clean facilities and nice neighbors.

The park is quiet, the trees are all very mature, giving each site a good sense of privacy. The sites are reasonably separate from each other. The pool was nice. The store was well stocked. The staff was friendly and helpful. The park was quiet late in the evening. It appears there are a few full timers but actually not that many. I'd stay here again.

We had the best time! There were so many activities for us to do without breaking the bank. Our kids had a blast, and we did too! Everyone was so kind and accommodating. We will definitely be back!

We loved our weekend in the peaceful piney forest at Rusk KOA. Only problem for over 70year old couple is that there is no toilet in the Camper Cabin. Loved having a fridge and TV. Space is very limited, could not imagine being in there with two kids. One has to be a minimalistic packer. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Great stay, thank you.

I just stayed one night, because I was traveling. The place is clean, neat, and quiet with friendly helpful staff. I highly recommend this KOA.

The weather was hot, and with no rain until the last couple of days we were there, ants invaded our RV. Other than that, we were in a shaded side near the fenced dog area. Thank you for accommodating us.

Camp was a little run down but ok. Roads could stand some work. Stay was alright. Problem is trees. Some tree pruning is in order.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. If I had anything negative to say. It would have to be the reservation making and payment process. We were there as a church group and needed several sites including deluxe cabins / camping cabins/ tent site. We had to reserve and pay deposits in several motions. The same thing when we paid our balance. It would be nice to be able to reserve in one step than

The one thing that really sticks out to me about the KOA in Rusk... the lack of noise! Well, let me be clear... the only things I heard while walking the trail were the wind in the trees and the birds! My dog got to see his first wild deer and rabbit! Rocky was excited! Nice place. Yes, it was hot! What can one expect in Texas in August! :) Staff was helpful and kind. Big shoutout to all!

6 of my family plus two toddlers spent the weekend in a cabin oh and also the family pet. The camp messaging system helped inform about daily activities and notice of store closing time. The pool was nice as well.

The Rv park was very nice and quiet. My grandson had a great time in the pool and playing the games, playing at the playground with new friends and loved riding his bike through the woody park. We will come again.

Great place to camp in the Piney Woods of east Texas! Beautiful area, well-kept grounds, clean restrooms and showers. Nice laundry area. The staff welcomes with smiles and even deliver pizza to your RV, tent site, or to one of the cabins or teepees. Everyone loves the pool, too. Perfect place for a getaway or a gathering of family and friends. Delicious Saturday breakfasts. A most enjoyable stay.

Great visit! Everyone was helpful and nice, and the kids loved the activities. The pine trees and crape myrtle are beautiful. I love this campground and will definitely be back!

We were a little sad this visit. The former camp managers had left and it was visible almost immediately. There were no yellow pinecones all weekend, the sandbox had grass and weeds growing in it, no crafts for the kids on Saturday. I guess now they allow the public to come to the pool if they pay a fee. This used to be our "go-to" campground, but we might think twice about coming again.

Water pressure was terrible and the yards are not well maintained. Stayed for one month after the sale of our home and we were charged $240 for electricity. ��

This is a very nice, well laid out campground. Easy to navigate with long, level pull-throughs. Office staff kept us up to date with campground activities via text message. Camp hosts were friendly and welcoming.

Enjoyed our stay at your campground; this was our 2nd stay here. The only suggestion I would make is that you need to put grates on top of the open fire pits-then a camper could cook on the fire pits, and it would prevent the kids from running into them and causing them harm. Otherwise the campground was extremely clean and organized. Thank you.

Very clean! Nice sights! Staff was super friendly. My kids enjoyed the hayride! Definitely a place to stay! I wish we had more time to spend in their saltwater pool!

There are some permanent residents onsite that seemed to have interest in my girlfriend. Made her uncomfortable when she took the dogs out and she had two men watching her every move. Also our cabin seemed to be the only one without a fire pit. Isn't that one of the main things people do when camping? The cabin inside was great, but the experience not so much. Lastly, 6:30 is pretty early to close

We have stayed at Rusk KOA several times and have always had an enjoyable time. The folks that run the campground are very friendly. This campground is set back in the pine trees of east Texas and it is a nice, quiet place to relax. They have walking trails, a salt-water swimming pool, a swing-set for the kids. They have on-site Propane to refill your bottles, if needed. Will definitely go back.
