Join us this Fourth of July to celebrate America's 250th year, with an exciting camping weekend in Richmond, Indiana!
It'll be a festive campground featuring a patriotic movie on Friday night. Followed by a themed weekend of tractor rides, crafts, candy bingo, 
a night parade of campers' decorated bicycles, and not to mention our famous fireworks. It's a great way to come together, to celebrate our Great nations milestone, and make unforgettable memories.

Pirates & Mermaids Weekend at Richmond KOA

We've got a bounty of activities planned for the whole crew:
The Great Sunken Treasure Hunt: Follow the cryptic clues hidden around the campground to find the Captain's lost chest.
Mermaid Cove Crafts: "Message in a bottle", seashell crowns or glittery "scale" art.....whichever captures your attention & sparks yr delight.
Walk the Plank (at our glistening Pool): A friendly competition of the most dramatic splashes and cannonballs.
Best Dressed: Prizes for the most authentic Pirate, the most magical Mermaid, and
Best Decorated Site "Ships, booty & desert islands" (RV/Tent). Lets see those Jolly Roger Flags a flying

Summer Snowflakes & Sunshine! "Ho, Ho, Ho, it's Christmas in July." Who says we have to wait until December for a little holiday magic?
Dust off your Santa hats and untangle those string lights, because we're celebrating the festive season right here at the campground! Expect Christmas crafts, treats, and a little midsummer magic as we celebrate the most wonderful time of the year… in July!

The Big Bubble Bash

Grab your goggles and your swimsuits! We're filling the campground with mountains of foam for the ultimate sudsy celebration. 
It's cool, it's clean, and it's a total blast for kids (and kids at heart).

When: Aug 15 
Tentative times: 11am: Tractor Ride;  2pm - onward: "Suds & Sunshine"

Bring: Towels, water shoes, and your best dance moves. Warning: You WILL get wet. Dress accordingly!

Event: The Bigfoot Halloween Haunt at Richmond KOA

This Halloween, we're looking for more than just candy. Rumor has it a 7-foot-tall resident of the local Wayne county woods might be coming out of hiding for the weekend. Will you spot him before he spots you?

Trade your neighborhood sidewalk for the woods for this 4th weekend! We'll be hosting another weekend full of treats (& maybe a few tricks) for the whole family. Pack your costumes and your candy buckets!

The Model T Ford Museum in Richmond, Indiana, is excited to announce the return of Homecoming, this August 2026. 
It will be an incredible 4 day pre-1945 car show, with something for everyone - swap meet, seminars, talks, demos, and loads of fun filled auto-entertainment

The Annual Archway Days Festival in Historic town of Centerville, IN.

This all began in 1988 as Hoosier Celebration '88.  It included a parade of antique vehicles which ended at Maplewood Park.  There, people enjoyed "Music And Dancing! and ice cream and pie and fellowship of the Centerville community."  Before the end of the day, the dates for the next year were set and the name of 'Archway Days' was chosen.  In 1989, Centerville celebrated 175 years and the festival grew to include a pageant, "Walking Through the Archways of Centerville", a horseshoe tournament, 5K Fun Run/Walk, a Pet Parade, a Lemonade Stand and a Homes Tour.The Festival has grown and evolved into a very popular festival in eastern Indiana.  It now includes many vendors of food, crafts and traditional fair merchandise plus games such as the pedal tractor pull, pie and watermelon eating contests.  A large variety of entertainment, including various kinds of live music in the Stiver Performance Shelter in Maplewood Park.

2026 Preble County Pork Festival in Eaton, Ohio:

An annual community festival held at the Preble County Fairgrounds featuring a parade, live entertainment, pig races, and nearly 500 arts and crafts vendors. Admission and parking are free.
