RV Reviews

It’s close to the highway, easy access and between Redmond and Sisters. It doesn’t really live up to the KOA ideal in that the grassy areas are really just weeds with horrible stickers that hurt pet’s feet. The dog play area is filled with dog poop (literally on the ground everywhere and the garbage can is overflowing), the pen itself is also filled with stickers and the fence is in rough sh

Short stay, one night. Most of the extras like the pool were closed for winter. The check in was easy and the gal was super friendly. I am sometimes leery of all the permanent sites. But I also understand for work and cost of rentals might not be another choice. This RV park is very convenient for traveling as we were continuing south. Easy in and out spaces.

Quiet park. All the staff we met in the store were very friendly and helpful.

We were very pleased with the customer service we received and changes that we requested for our camp site. We love the friendly service at the office. We will be back again. The only concern is the stickers in the grassy area's going to the dog area. The poor dogs got stickers on their feet.

It was an ok stay. The place needs work As people cleaned brush around site they did not finish leaving piles in middle of site and power and water were in the middle of the site. ???

The host is really nice, the showers were clean and hot. What else can you ask for when you need a rest from your camping trip? :)

Another great KOA site. The grounds were well kept and all of the staff that I had contact with were very helpful, friendly and polite. The bathroom/showers were amazing, big and very clean. I loved how many different activities for kids to participate in. Nice sized pool and playground and for us best of all a dog park. We will definitely stay here next time we are in the area

Clean restrooms easy parking sites. Great pizza. Not a fan of the grass stickers that would be the only downside. The pool looked clean and it was quiet at night. Friendly staff they were great even delivered the best pizza.

Nice open park outside of the busy Redmond/Bend area. Large site. Staff was friendly laundry and bathrooms very clean. Only issue was all the GOAT HEAD stickers… very hard to walk around without having to pull them out of my dogs feet and off my shoes. Staff could easily dig them up to eliminate the growth.

The functions all worked...grateful. However, the wrecking yard was very unappealing. I hope that grass spots near the campsites could happen someday.

Our campsites that were scheduled for full hook-ups had been taken by other campers so we were left with two sites with no sewer and neither of our campsites had power. We were extremely cold that night and without power our water pumps could not work. Highly disappointing especially after a long drive and just wanted to cook dinner, shower, relax.

It’s a nice little campground. My biggest issue was the burrs that are all over the ground. My dogs got them in their paws so I was constantly picking them out, then they would track into the 5th wheel and we would step on them as well. Not sure if the whole camp ground is like this but the area we camped it was bad with them .

Nice KOA to stop at when passing through Oregon. Nice accommodations, staff very friendly and pizza great when you don’t want to cook. We’d stay again.

Staff were great but park needs work. Showers and restrooms needed cleaning. The space had really no grass and shared patio and tents in the "park" area right next to us. Looked like a lot of full timers and the areas around their campsite were just cluttered and junky looking. I wouldn't recommend to anyone and it is tryly closer to Madras than Redmond.

Very nice to get away! People were exceptional and friendly. Had some issues with the electrical and it was taken care of. Will definitely be staying there again!

Lots of weeds with sharp spikes in the RV spot. This made it difficult to set up my levelers without getting poked.

All staff were super friendly and park was clean and had lots of play equipment for kids.

We brought 3 grandkids ages 2, 4, 5 for a two night camping trip. They had such a great time. There’s a lot of different things for kids to do. It is Central Or and desert expect dust in the summer. The staff is very friendly & helpful. I called to add an extra child. The office lady offered to go find a different campsite right across from the pool & playground. Very accommodating & friendly.

Efficient staff at check in. People seemed to enjoy the amenities. Need to empty the waste can in K9 enclosure -overflowing!

Great as always, third time staying here.

The campground was very nice, convenient and quiet.

Overall an ok stay. There were a few safety issues that concerned me. The toddler swing was not a full bucket (it was cut in half) and not safe for a baby or young toddler . The playground had some damage that could cause injuries to kids and lots of spider webs. And there was a looped wire in our camp site next to the firepit, we tripped on itmultiple times especially at night when it was dark.

Very clean and everyone is very nice but it’s incredibly overpriced considering the amenities and the fact that there are a bunch of old abandoned trailers at the back of the property. Not likely to stay there again.

The facility is amazing! Ice cream social, breakfast, pizza delivered to your campsite and the staff is great. Only minor negative is the west side sites could use more water for lawn rather than weeds and ended up with some goat head stickers.

Beautiful park, friendly staff, and awesome ice cream social on Fri night. We thought it was only on Sat and we'd miss it, but we were pleasantly surprised. Delicious, generous servings!

Pups and I wanted to get out and enjoy 1 last tent camping experience for the year before the temps turned too chilly and the weekend in October was just pristine with 74°. When I had asked a coworker who lives in Culver her thoughts on this spot she kinda just gave me a 'eh, it's ok' shrug and look and tried to find somethings to say about it. The reviews mentioned about all the burrs in the pups 🐾 🐾 around the camper sections, welp, they are pretty much all over the place. The tent camping, thankfully, there were only 3 different tenters, otherwise, I wouldn't want to be here when each spot is filled up, the quarters are tight and there really isn't any defining area to provide a get-away feel. Also, the tenting area is right by the store, which is great for bathroom convenience, but the lights on all night could disturb one's sleep if they don't have a way to cover their eyes. Altho summer hours with all the perks were done for the season, if you're a kid, there were still some things they could do for fun, 1 seemed to be the playground was always with kids and they played together a lot which was good to hear them get along great. There were horseshoe pits but ya could see they'd not been used in some time. The volleyball net was down, but again, could be a summer thing. There's a treasure sifting thing that seemed interesting to find certain rocks or gems and some kids rented these funky pedal low rider vehicles that they quickly gave up on cuz mum kept having to push them to get them going. As for nature, however, we tried to get out to do more than just walk around the campsite a lot, but it's so full of the burrs, it wasn't enjoyable for my 2 big pups. We're hikers and explorers but this isn't the spot for that. So we just chilled, read and rested and since it was quiet due to the time of year, it was nice. The staff is all super friendly and helpful, coming around to give puppy pets and homemade puppy jerky, brought over firewood, helped with great convo to spend some time. If I were a kid, I bet summertime is great with the ice cream social, the pool, and even more kiddos with whom to play. If you're an adult who wants to just come out end of season to just chill, this might fit the bill. The other 2 tenters, they were just passing thru and that seemed to work well for them for the 1 night stay. Oohh, the doggie area. Eh, it's a place for them to be off-leash to do their business, but just like anywhere, it's the others that don't pick up after their critters that dismantles the good vibes. The area is tiny, not shaded, altho they put up a sunscreen over the seated area, and even tho not as many, it has the burrs, too.

I was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the amount of activities and amenities. There were nightly ice cream socials, a $6 breakfast piled high, pizza delivered to the campsite, a fully-stocked store, a clean pool, nice playground, and trash was dumped regularly. This isn't a ritzy place, but they sure do care about the experience and we will be back.

We stopped here on a cross country trip. Wifi and other services good. Enjoyed the 12$ breakfast which includes chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage pancakes and hash browns. Safe family friendly campground. Close to state parks , out in the wilderness but 20 minutes from a walmart. Would recommend.
