We had a great stay. The all you can eat breakfast on the weekends is amazing!!! And the amount of icecream you get for thier ice cream social is crazy big!!! The salt water pool was so relaxing!!! Park was clean and very relaxing.

Kids had a great time. Our site was right in view of the pool and playground. Movie night was a nice added surprise!

I had a great time, the campsite was beautiful. The pool, hammocks and playground were awesome. The only thing I wish was different is the cleanliness of the bathroom. The women's bathroom was a bit dirty and the showers were a little gross.

Very nice!

We had a good time. I myself liked it a lot: the predictable hot weather, swimming, the hammocks were lovely, kids liked the mining station and pebbles in the sand. Playground was cool. Only complaint I have is the large group of adults and under age of 21 kids who partied well into the night(0200): extremely disrespectful!! Kids wished there were more things for them to do. Crafts/games

KOA always makes heading home easy! Very clean and very nice staff. Has everything you need to just take it easy and wind down after weeks of camping remote

Campground is conveniently located between Madras and Redmond, Oregon, giving great access to Central Oregon and all it has to offer. Staff were very nice and kept ahead of clean-up and maintenance. The RV spaces were easy to pull into but the layout placed our picnic table and fire pit too close to our neighboring spaces waste hose. Our slide was uncomfortably close to our neighbors fire pit.

This is the second time we've visited the Central Oregon KOA. It's a beautiful location, friendly staff and fun amenities. We enjoyed the ice cream social and the pizza. We look forward to our return!

The Redmond KOA is an older campground and as such we experienced issues with electricity. We couldn’t run our air conditioner during or 2 day stay, as breaker kept tripping. Also the evening parties got into a loud argument at 2 am. It’s wasn’t the best experience!

This was an ok place to stay. The staff was great, but I didn't like how they mixed the long term with the short term. The person next to me had camera's all around their trailer and as I walked out my door, the one mounted on the front, turned and focused in right on me. Was going to complain but left prior to the office opening.

The tent pad we were on was all dead grass and incredibly uneven and hard ground. We were also set right next to the waste disposal area for the trailers so we constantly got smells of poop. The way the campsites are set up there is absolutely zero privacy from one site to another. We won't stay here again, which is disappointing because we usually like KOA campgrounds.

The one bedroom cabin was a disaster. Not maintained and lots of broken things.

I cannot say enough about how great this place is. I have stayed here by myself in the past in your cabins. I chose to spend my 8 day birthday vacation tent camping and I could not be more happy with my decision! They made my grandkids' stay so memorable! The staff there is amazing! They keep that place running pretty darn good! Cannot WAIT to go back!!!

The stay was just for one night. The cabin was fine. The amenities in the cabin were fine. The cleaning lady for the bathroom was terrible. She had a confrontation with my friend about using the restroom while she was cleaning. It was an unavoidable need (my friend is 63, disabled, and had bowel issue that day). The cleaning lady grabbed the stall door and it knocked my friend onto the floor.

The areas is beautiful and this koa has potential. Unfortunately there are maintenance issues. Only the front restrooms had any working showers and garbage was overflowing at all of the camps garbage cans. My requst for two cabins together was not accomadated while a cabin across from us was unoccupied, very disappointing. There were not many adminities, not sure why listed as a holiday koa.

Nice clean campground with everything you would ever need for an overnight or longer stay.

We had a great time. Mike and Kim are excellent hosts. They keep everything nice for us and informed us of all the fun stuff to do. Can't wait for our next stay.

The problem with this site, is false advertising. We booked our stay here because we thought it was in Redmond as advertised on their site. Down in the corner of the paper is the name of the town it is in. This put us 20 miles out of way for our trip. 10 miles there and 10 miles back to Redmond.

I am funny in how I rate the KOAs I have been staying at. Water pressure and WiFi. Both were pretty good.

Enjoyed the campground for five nights. Ice cream social was a hit! Only issue was the needed repairs to the patio site were brought to mgmts attention and nothing was done.

Friendly staff. Clean. We stayed two nights in July, so hot & dusty.

We have been to this KOA many times and always have enjoyed ourselves. The one recommendation we have is it would be nice to have an access walkway from the western back in sites to the restroom/pool area. When all the middle sites are full we have to walk all the way around to get to these areas. A pass through trail would be nice.

Cabin 58 which we were assigned to was in bad shape. The window to the back side would not open, and screen was broken. The front room window had no screen. You could barely open the front door as the floor had swollen due to the air conditioner above the door leaking. We could not use the AC because of the constant leak. All I all cabin 58 was in bad shape. I think we deserve a refund.

We have used this KOA for overnight stays while headed somewhere else. It’s always been a nice overnighter. The staff are very polite/helpful. We do wish their entrance was a little wider though.

Our family rented 2 cabins while we stayed in our 5th wheel. So happy to have us all in the same area

The bathrooms were okay (kind of dirty), the shower had warm water (yay), the cabin had a fridge which is a plus, the pool was crowded, the environment was fun for kids, and our neighbors kept us up until 1am (playing music and partying).

Nice friendly staff, nice place to stay for over nite.

Ice cream was AMAZING!!!! Pizza was delicious! Bathrooms were clean - in the morning - but not so much later in the day/evening for showers. Spots were decent - I’m sure it’s hard to keep things green in the heat off summer.

Pups and I wanted to get out and enjoy 1 last tent camping experience for the year before the temps turned too chilly and the weekend in October was just pristine with 74°. When I had asked a coworker who lives in Culver her thoughts on this spot she kinda just gave me a 'eh, it's ok' shrug and look and tried to find somethings to say about it. The reviews mentioned about all the burrs in the pups 🐾 🐾 around the camper sections, welp, they are pretty much all over the place. The tent camping, thankfully, there were only 3 different tenters, otherwise, I wouldn't want to be here when each spot is filled up, the quarters are tight and there really isn't any defining area to provide a get-away feel. Also, the tenting area is right by the store, which is great for bathroom convenience, but the lights on all night could disturb one's sleep if they don't have a way to cover their eyes. Altho summer hours with all the perks were done for the season, if you're a kid, there were still some things they could do for fun, 1 seemed to be the playground was always with kids and they played together a lot which was good to hear them get along great. There were horseshoe pits but ya could see they'd not been used in some time. The volleyball net was down, but again, could be a summer thing. There's a treasure sifting thing that seemed interesting to find certain rocks or gems and some kids rented these funky pedal low rider vehicles that they quickly gave up on cuz mum kept having to push them to get them going. As for nature, however, we tried to get out to do more than just walk around the campsite a lot, but it's so full of the burrs, it wasn't enjoyable for my 2 big pups. We're hikers and explorers but this isn't the spot for that. So we just chilled, read and rested and since it was quiet due to the time of year, it was nice. The staff is all super friendly and helpful, coming around to give puppy pets and homemade puppy jerky, brought over firewood, helped with great convo to spend some time. If I were a kid, I bet summertime is great with the ice cream social, the pool, and even more kiddos with whom to play. If you're an adult who wants to just come out end of season to just chill, this might fit the bill. The other 2 tenters, they were just passing thru and that seemed to work well for them for the 1 night stay. Oohh, the doggie area. Eh, it's a place for them to be off-leash to do their business, but just like anywhere, it's the others that don't pick up after their critters that dismantles the good vibes. The area is tiny, not shaded, altho they put up a sunscreen over the seated area, and even tho not as many, it has the burrs, too.

I was blown away by the friendliness of the staff and the amount of activities and amenities. There were nightly ice cream socials, a $6 breakfast piled high, pizza delivered to the campsite, a fully-stocked store, a clean pool, nice playground, and trash was dumped regularly. This isn't a ritzy place, but they sure do care about the experience and we will be back.

We stopped here on a cross country trip. Wifi and other services good. Enjoyed the 12$ breakfast which includes chicken fried steak, biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage pancakes and hash browns. Safe family friendly campground. Close to state parks , out in the wilderness but 20 minutes from a walmart. Would recommend.
