Worked great as a one night stop. After driving all day, the pizza you could purchase was perfect. Had everything we needed and not as expensive as other KOA's.

Definitely will not be utilizing this KOA ever again when I make my trips to Central Oregon. Never have I stayed at a koa where an officer worker came pounding at my rv early in the am to tell me I was in the wrong spot and that he had other people he just put there. No apology for his mistake. Then, another first, my wheel lock was stolen. No replacement no apology.

Much less grass, more dust than my stays before. Needs more watering between sites as before. Restrooms clean, pool area very nice.

Lots of fun activities for kids. Staff was onsite and store was open till into the evening. Facilities were clean and nice. Close proximity to alot of things.

Overall the stay was alright. The staff was friendly and our site was good. The pool was a bit gross with a lot of dead flies floating in it. They had multiple movie nights, a really nice ice cream social, and their Camp K9 was spacious for 2 large breed dogs to roam freely. Staying by employee living was noisy & when the power went out no one thought to tell us. Store under stocked as well.

I did like it here but there are a few parts I can’t ignore. There’s only 1 bathroom and it is disgusting by the end of the day because there’s no where else to go. There is no lighting throughout the camp ground. Only up front. I loved the camp host and owner. They were the nicest ones yet. From the area this seems like the nicest camp ground to stay, however some up grades are needed.

Just and overnight stay on my way home. But i will be back for a longer stay to once again spend time in Central Oregon's wonders. Pizza for dinner: unexpected and wonderful. Thank you.

We had a great stay. The all you can eat breakfast on the weekends is amazing!!! And the amount of icecream you get for thier ice cream social is crazy big!!! The salt water pool was so relaxing!!! Park was clean and very relaxing.

I had a great time, the campsite was beautiful. The pool, hammocks and playground were awesome. The only thing I wish was different is the cleanliness of the bathroom. The women's bathroom was a bit dirty and the showers were a little gross.

We had a good time. I myself liked it a lot: the predictable hot weather, swimming, the hammocks were lovely, kids liked the mining station and pebbles in the sand. Playground was cool. Only complaint I have is the large group of adults and under age of 21 kids who partied well into the night(0200): extremely disrespectful!! Kids wished there were more things for them to do. Campground is conveniently located between Madras and Redmond, Oregon, giving great access to Central Oregon and all it has to offer. Staff were very nice and kept ahead of clean-up and maintenance. The RV spaces were easy to pull into but the layout placed our picnic table and fire pit too close to our neighboring spaces waste hose. Our slide was uncomfortably close to our neighbors fire pit.

This is the second time we've visited the Central Oregon KOA. It's a beautiful location, friendly staff and fun amenities. We enjoyed the ice cream social and the pizza. We look forward to our return!

The Redmond KOA is an older campground and as such we experienced issues with electricity. We couldn’t run our air conditioner during or 2 day stay, as breaker kept tripping. Also the evening parties got into a loud argument at 2 am. It’s wasn’t the best experience!

This was an ok place to stay. The staff was great, but I didn't like how they mixed the long term with the short term. The person next to me had camera's all around their trailer and as I walked out my door, the one mounted on the front, turned and focused in right on me. Was going to complain but left prior to the office opening.

The tent pad we were on was all dead grass and incredibly uneven and hard ground. We were also set right next to the waste disposal area for the trailers so we constantly got smells of poop. The way the campsites are set up there is absolutely zero privacy from one site to another. We won't stay here again, which is disappointing because we usually like KOA campgrounds.

I cannot say enough about how great this place is. I have stayed here by myself in the past in your cabins. I chose to spend my 8 day birthday vacation tent camping and I could not be more happy with my decision! They made my grandkids' stay so memorable! The staff there is amazing! They keep that place running pretty darn good! Cannot WAIT to go back!!!

The stay was just for one night. The cabin was fine. The amenities in the cabin were fine. The cleaning lady for the bathroom was terrible. She had a confrontation with my friend about using the restroom while she was cleaning. It was an unavoidable need (my friend is 63, disabled, and had bowel issue that day). The cleaning lady grabbed the stall door and it knocked my friend onto the floor.

The areas is beautiful and this koa has potential. Unfortunately there are maintenance issues. Only the front restrooms had any working showers and garbage was overflowing at all of the camps garbage cans. My requst for two cabins together was not accomadated while a cabin across from us was unoccupied, very disappointing. There were not many adminities, not sure why listed as a holiday koa.

The problem with this site, is false advertising. We booked our stay here because we thought it was in Redmond as advertised on their site. Down in the corner of the paper is the name of the town it is in. This put us 20 miles out of way for our trip. 10 miles there and 10 miles back to Redmond.

Enjoyed the campground for five nights. Ice cream social was a hit! Only issue was the needed repairs to the patio site were brought to mgmts attention and nothing was done.

We have been to this KOA many times and always have enjoyed ourselves. The one recommendation we have is it would be nice to have an access walkway from the western back in sites to the restroom/pool area. When all the middle sites are full we have to walk all the way around to get to these areas. A pass through trail would be nice.

Cabin 58 which we were assigned to was in bad shape. The window to the back side would not open, and screen was broken. The front room window had no screen. You could barely open the front door as the floor had swollen due to the air conditioner above the door leaking. We could not use the AC because of the constant leak. All I all cabin 58 was in bad shape. I think we deserve a refund.

We have used this KOA for overnight stays while headed somewhere else. It’s always been a nice overnighter. The staff are very polite/helpful. We do wish their entrance was a little wider though. �

A little off the beaten path but overall have had a great holiday weekend here. Plenty to do for kids and adults both inside and out of the park. Staff has been outgoing and fantastic to work with. Plenty of planned Parkwide activities for the holiday. This park will be going near the top of our list for camping in this area. They've got TeePees and cabins but we brought our RV so I cannot report on any of the rooms. Heated pool is definitely a plus,even if it does not offer a shaded area.
