Park is nice and quiet. Sites are not level we had grass all the way up on the sewer connection must have over looked that one with the weed eater. Staff is friendly and helpful. Observation deck is a nice touch sunsets are beautiful!

Was a great stay until our final night. We were in space #136 and the family in #137 decided to party until 3:30 am. Was very disappointed no one from the campground did not intervene and shut them down. I didn’t call anyone but I know everyone in the campground heard it. Needed to enforce quiet time

Alot of amenities and clean bathrooms. It is evident that the campground is well maintained and very pleasant. We plan to stay again soon.

Great location, lots of activities for kids, and close to Walmart etc (20 minutes away). Dog park is awesome, view is awesome, and the showers/ restrooms r singles and well kept! My only recommendation is more shade and/or trees. I would go again and stay at least 3 days!

All the staff are very friendly. There were activities for young children. The park was kept clean and the restrooms are air conditioned. I would like more seating areas that are in the shade. No real tent sites only RV sites.

This is perfect spot for an RV park. What a hidden Gem! This is my second stay- the first one was in one of the adorable cabins that are available. A shout out to Kathy and Marchia. Two wonderful employees who were so helpful to me. I knew nothing about RVs and they were so so so so helpful! Thank you ladies for being so sweet! Not just to me but to my dog who loves you both!

Thank you for staying with us. We do offer Pizza and Wings on site and Port Lavaca is 15-20 minutes away. We're in a pristine bayfront location, perfect for fishing, birdwatching, and stargazing, with no noise/air or light pollution. Million-dollar views in a serene rural setting

We stayed 7 days, it's so peaceful there. We were in the second spot near the pool, had a great tree to sit under. Everything went great. We loved it. The only issue we had was the music from the club house was very loud a few nights and played all night. Kiddos to the women who took care of the lawn! She was the hardest worker we have ever seen. We will be back!

I would have given a 5 star except they advertised that they were having a summer kick off carnival the weekend we stayed. There was no kickoff for summer party etc. My kids were disappointed that they didn't have anything extra like they have advertised.

Port LaVaca KOA was the perfect spot for our midweek getaway. The sites are clean and level. Most have a view of the bay. The pool is clean and a great place to relax. There was lots to do: fishing pier, kayaks and paddle boards, shuffle board and other games. Pizza and snacks are available and the staff is great! Friendly and helpful. The shower facilities are spotless.

Staff was helpful, friendly, gave a family feel. Campground was quiet and clean. Facilities were well working and clean. Would stay here again.

Just a short weekend stay, a small but well maintained park with friendly staff. Definitely off the beaten path which is a positive just know that port Lavaca is 20 min away. We will be planning another stay there.

Awesome location to the bay and available amenities as well as staff. Mosquitos were unbearable evenings and early mornings due to recent rain in the area. Aside from that, we enjoyed our stay and will return in the future.

We had an amazing time during our little family get away. Although it was for just a few short days. We enjoyed every minute of it. The staff were amazing and friendly. They had plenty to do for both adult and kids. The restrooms were clean and convenient. We definitely will be back a bunch more.

The vacation was going well until some of the warped boards from the wooden ramp near the pool caused me to take a bad step resulting in me dislocating my left knee and severely sprained ankle. Unfortunately, this ended a fun vacation in day two. Sadly it felt like a wasted trip

We came in on Mon. afternoon of the Memorial Day weekend after 95% of others had left. Staff were very helpful & upgraded us to a site on the water since we'd just be there in the middle of the week (M-Th). [Thx] The campground was very clean, the pool was nice, even warm on a day that was chilly. We enjoyed kayaking and beautiful sunrises. Needs a few more shade trees but otherwise great.

The location is great that it is not too far from home (obvi depending on where home is)but also that it is near water. The bay is calmer for kayak/SUP- among the other fun options to rent & enjoy the water. This is an ideal spot for young kids with the splash pad, pool & other games, plus the staff does some additional small scavenger hunts or sometimes they have planned activities. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The cabins are nice and clean, as are the public bathrooms if you are tent camping or have a smaller camper. They have one yurt, tent camping, camper camping, and a few cabins- and more to come. There is very few large trees though, so keep that in mind to bring shade. It is a small area, so not spread apart sites. Also the cabins switch between having a stand up grill or a low campfire, which we wanted the campfire experience, so need to keep that in mind when booking a cabin. Pet friendly! We brought our cat, she went kayaking for the first time, idk if she would review that as 5 stars, but she would say 5 stars for the cabin & outdoor deck which was he favorite feature.
