Staff was friendly, place was clean, and its was just enjoyable place to be. Love the people there also. Had a great time fishing and it had plenty of amenities for everyone to do. Will stay here again

rented the yurk, friday the air conditioner did not work.jason looked at it. still didnt work.jason changed out the a/c. didnt work.had to rent a hotel room in port lavaca. everyone left at 7 pm.saturday told management about situation. they did nothing.management said the yurk doesnt cool like a cabin.whatever.had to get hotel room for second nightwhat else is there to say?

All of the outdoor amenities were amazing and in a great location. Proximity of everything allowed us to relax as parents while our kids bounced around to different activities. The cabin that we stayed in was adorable, however, it did have an infestation of roaches that tainted the stay a little bit.

The staff were nice and helpful. The camp grounds were kept up. The cabin was ok, clean, had a few dishes for use to use. The one thing that was off putting was our big screen tv didn't work. But they did put a small one on the cabinet for us. That wasn't a big deal because I did not come to watch TV. Overall great stay. We will be back.

We held our 2nd Annual Family Reunion at the KOA. Once some minor bumps were handled we had a fabulous weekend. Victoria was a wonderful help with anything we needed. It is a great place for a family reunion!!

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. All the staff was friendly and helpful, relaxed and walked the campground safely. Enjoyed the swimming and the lookout decks.

We had such a wonderful time at this KOA! The staff was incredibly polite and helpful—especially Allyssa, who was running all the Easter events, the boats, and the food. She was amazing and absolutely deserves a raise! The amenities were fantastic, and there was so much for the kids to enjoy. I also really appreciated the indoor activities offered throughout the day. We’ll definitely be back!

We stayed in a cabin over spring break. The cabin was clean, the showers were hot, and it offered everything we needed. We loved all the amenities that the campground offered. So much fun! It was great to have pizza as an option there on site as well. The whole place was clean and all of the staff were very helpful and responsive. We are already planning to come back again with friend.

I am really disappointed with my stay. The hot tub was removed, which was one of amenities we were expecting, and Monday was no water available in our cabin from 2 pm to 7 pm. This is not expected when we made the reservation.

We are sorry to hear that. Yes sad the hot tub could not be fixed and had to be removed but we are anxiously awaiting our new hot tub! The loss of water for a couple hours due to water main break was not expected but maintenance worked on it immediately! Come back when the new hot tub is here.

The staff that worked there were AWESOME!! You could not ask for nicer people. The two ladies that helped me were soooo nice and accommodating. The negative to the stay was the inside of our cabin 9. The bed was uncomfortable but the worst was the tiny sofa that was peeling. It had a slipcover on it that would not stay in place. It was not comfortable and it grossed me out.

This place is the perfect spot for a KOA! I love how quaint it is. Perfect size. It looks like a fun place for the kiddos. I went off season so no kids around and very quiet. Just amazing. Loved the staff! Thanks Melissa & Jackie. ���

We LOVED to come here, this last visit well there was a worker that kept threatening to call the sheriff while we were sitting outside relaxing and talking .. as if we couldn't even talk or laugh.. we were respectful of quite time she still told us to be quite that we were being to loud.. 2 days in a row... there were other people around outside thier campers.. but i dont know when we will be back

We love our frequent campers! As for the noise complaints (2 nights in a row) quiet time begins at 10p and when other guests bring it to our attention (via text) it has to be addressed. We want all campers to have fun and their comfort to be respected. Hope to see yas back soon. Safe travels

We needed a time to get away and relax. The cabin with a water front view was perfect. My wife and I have wanted to get away for awhile and discussed renting a house or cabin. The Kampgrounds are well maintained and the beautiful cabin was perfect for a couple to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the professional and courteous staff. Overall, I will look forward to our next stay with KOA Port Lavaca

We had such a great time! Cabin was clean and wonderful! Perfect supplies provided! Park was absolutely perfect! The staff were all so friendly! We loved every minute of the trip and were sad to leave! We are already planning our return trip!

Hand soup container missing a lid. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all look like been in that container for 20 years.

Would have put 5 stars except the description stated a queen bed and we had a double bed. Otherwise a very nice place. Having Hunt's Brothers pizza onsite is a pleasure.

Loved it, the cabin was very nice. Some little things could be worked on like kitchen utensil also a more comfortable sofa…but all in all very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Grounds are clean , staff work hard to keep it all looking pleasant. Thank you!

Enjoyed our visit, it was our anniversary and we felt relaxed and had a great time. The only concern was that the mattress was not comfortable for either of us. It may be our age or the fact we’re used to something a bit softer. We came prepared to cook for ourselves and were able to do so and we enjoyed a pizza from the clubhouse. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable experience.

We had a great two days. Stayed in a cabin and it was very neat and clean. Pool was very refreshing. Did some kayaking and saw a dolphin in the bay. Best of all the camp host , JACKIE was the best. Very friendly, makes great pizza a real jewel for KOA Park. Thanks for making our stay great!!!

Outstanding - close enough to home for a weekend trip and out secret space without of people. it is nice and quite and away from the big city - with all the starts and wild life. Other campers are always hospitable and the staff is always more than accommodating. Plenty of things to do for the grandkids, big kids, adult kids.

1 A/C unit in the cabin with a sign that says- if you put it below 74 it will freeze and you will have to pay $150. A good working A/C unit should be able to go below 74. It barely kept the room cool. Bathroom was insanly hot. Cabin was missing linens for a bed. No activities on a weekend. Wasn't much to do. Years ago they had movie night w/popcorn. Free breakfast snack. Not anymore. Small pool.

Overall it was a good stay, and the lady working was helpful . She needs more staff , she is having to run everything herself . There were no activities listed or any movies for a Friday which was disappointing . The restrooms were not very clean and showers had hair . The pool also was ok, but also had hair/oily and they have a very dark blue bottom so you can’t see any clarity, which is unsafe

Staff were really friendly! Great atmosphere. My grandkids really enjoyed the swimming pool and splash pad. We loved the fishing pier! Would definitely plan a trip back.

Such a great place to get away for a little trip. Fun things for the whole family to do. Pool was nice, splash pad, pickleball, basketball court, fishing pier just to name a few.

Had a great time in the yurt. I would probably opt for a cabin or rv in the warmer months but we hit it just right. Bathrooms we not to far and they were well kept. The staff were super nice and helpful. I didn't catch the younger staff girls name but she needs a raise, she was back and forth all weekend and usually in a slow run, and made a great pizza..👍
