Friendliest staff out of any KOA or any campgrounds I have been too and we go camping a lot. Cabins are super clean and my dog loves he gets to go and play in the dog park.

I used to go to KOA as a kid in the 90s. We would travel all around the US and stay there on our trips. I wanted to provide the same for my family as my dad did for me and my brother. KOA has never let me down from having a good time. And still remains that way. We cant wait for our next trip!

Enjoyed our stay. Had a good time, and you always have activities for the kids. I called to see if we could bring our own golf cart and was told NO, but during our stay seen 2 others people with there own golf carts riding around. So was disappointed about that. We stayed in the Yurt because no cabins available. It would be nice if you added water up at that site.

Perfect. The weather was nice being on the bay with a breeze usually present. We found another restaurant in the area which we really enjoyed. We stayed with friends and all,of us had a great time.

This was our first time ever staying at a KOA site. We were recommended by friends that use it wherever they go. We are so glad we decided to stay! We stayed in one of the cabins and our kids loved it! We had a great view of the bay and plenty of room. The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed the hot tub.

Beautiful, peaceful park. Loved sitting outside with the great water views. Water trike rentals, kayaks, and so much more to do. Staff was welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

This park was beautiful. I really enjoyed my stay. There was several amenities on site which made for lots to do during my stay. The waterfront views were spectacular both during the day and at night. I was in a cabin. It was very clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed and more. The wifi worked perfectly. The staff was welcoming and kind!

The cabin we stayed in was great other than the ac units not being able to be set below 74. It felt extremely hot in the cabin especially in the loft and bunk bed room, especially at night.

This KOA offers so many activity options for all ages, which is great for a family with kids or those retired folks who crave action or anyone in-between. The KOA staff were warm and friendly, and they were helpful to us for some specific needs we had in our cabin. I highly recommend making your way to this awesome KOA. It is worth the drive and time and money.

Staff were fabulous. Our Kabin and the whole park were sweet. We would go back. One night I did have what sounded like a mouse in the wall. The following night something ( cat? Raccoon?) was under the Kabin- hissing and hitting the floor joist. We were backed up to a wooded area- so no real surprise. It just caused me to be unable to sleep

Rough road to get to entrance to park (the last 1000 ft or so). Not many supplies at their store so make sure you have food/drinks and wine before you arrive. The closest grocery store is approx 25 mins away. Our cabin was clean, and there were a lot of activities available, but most cost extra. The fishing pier is great but there are only ~ 4 places to fish.

Staff and location was great! The only reason I gave it a 4 star was 2 things. One, the other guests need to consider that others would like to fish from the pier too. My husband tried fishing with our son three times during our stay, throughout the day. Other guests used up all the fishing pole holders and went and sat back down at their RV sites. Also, our cabin bthrm smelled like RV sewage

web site was very deceiving about occupancy, the cabin was nice except the tv was placed so it was in the way of the bathroom door hit our heads several times sitting at the dinning room table. Check out was at 11 but the office did not open until 12 . We fallowed all the rules about check out trash placed out side, dirty laundry placed in the bath tub. Did not want to wait 1 hour for office to op

We love coming to the Port LaVaca KOA. Two of our children rented cabins and our daughter and son-in-law camped next to us. There is so much for kids big & small to do. The grounds are pristine. The general store most likely has whatever you forgot to bring. All of their team members are so nice & helpful. We will be back again soon!!

We really enjoy this KOA! Emily is especially helpful and everyone else is very nice and are helpful as well. We liked the layout and orientation of cabin K04 a lot. It would be nice if lights in the area behind he office were turned off overnight but we understand some folks like being out late. We enjoy moon and stars watching. We love kayaking and fishing here too. We’ll be back for sure!!

Such a great place to get away for a little trip. Fun things for the whole family to do. Pool was nice, splash pad, pickleball, basketball court, fishing pier just to name a few.

Had a great time in the yurt. I would probably opt for a cabin or rv in the warmer months but we hit it just right. Bathrooms we not to far and they were well kept. The staff were super nice and helpful. I didn't catch the younger staff girls name but she needs a raise, she was back and forth all weekend and usually in a slow run, and made a great pizza..👍
