Fantastic place to stay! Beautiful trees! Large spaces! Love the concrete patios, fire pits and lovely outdoor furniture!! The amenities are the best we’ve had!!! Awesome entertained for the kids! Very friendly helpful staff!! Can’t say enough postive, nothing negative at all!!!! Book your stay!! We are definitely going back!!!

While a smaller campground, it has a lot of things to offer from great views, to all sorts of sporting endeavors. Fishing, rental aqua trikes and kayaks, free shuffle board and pickleball, basketball, pool and spa, splash pad, etc. It is well maintained, clean and tucked in an out of the way location for a restful stay. The staff are friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning.

Enjoyed our visit, it was our anniversary and we felt relaxed and had a great time. The only concern was that the mattress was not comfortable for either of us. It may be our age or the fact we’re used to something a bit softer. We came prepared to cook for ourselves and were able to do so and we enjoyed a pizza from the clubhouse. Overall it was a fun and enjoyable experience.

We stayed 2 nights at the KOA Port Lavaca. The staff were very friendly and went out of there way to accommodate us on our stay. I would highly recommend this campground to anyone.

We had a great two days. Stayed in a cabin and it was very neat and clean. Pool was very refreshing. Did some kayaking and saw a dolphin in the bay. Best of all the camp host , JACKIE was the best. Very friendly, makes great pizza a real jewel for KOA Park. Thanks for making our stay great!!!

1000/10 was so much fun staying at this Campground. The host/staff were friendly and helpful. Tlthe grounds were clean and there was so much to do for the kids. Will definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful stay! The property is very clean and well maintained. My MIL has a mobility scooter and had no problem getting around. All the staff and other campers were friendly. It was nice and quiet at night. The office woman was so nice to us and she even changed our site to a more shaded site bc we had a dog with us. We will absolutely come back again!!

Outstanding - close enough to home for a weekend trip and out secret space without of people. it is nice and quite and away from the big city - with all the starts and wild life. Other campers are always hospitable and the staff is always more than accommodating. Plenty of things to do for the grandkids, big kids, adult kids.

We all had so much fun. The ladies that were working in the office were amazing. They were very helpful and made our stay a lot more enjoyable.

1 A/C unit in the cabin with a sign that says- if you put it below 74 it will freeze and you will have to pay $150. A good working A/C unit should be able to go below 74. It barely kept the room cool. Bathroom was insanly hot. Cabin was missing linens for a bed. No activities on a weekend. Wasn't much to do. Years ago they had movie night w/popcorn. Free breakfast snack. Not anymore. Small pool.

We truly enjoyed our time at this park. I can not say enough how awesome the staff is, beyond helpful and polite. The park and site were great, clean, comfortable and quiet. Only reason for 4 stars was the restrooms. No matter what time we went in during the day, they appeared in need of cleaning. Won't keep us from staying again when in the area and I do recommend.

I’m understanding of cancellation policies but when your wife receives a phone call that her father had been sent home to die we decided to leave a day early and asked about an adjustment. None was offered. I will not recommend KOA parks in the future.

Overall it was a good stay, and the lady working was helpful . She needs more staff , she is having to run everything herself . There were no activities listed or any movies for a Friday which was disappointing . The restrooms were not very clean and showers had hair . The pool also was ok, but also had hair/oily and they have a very dark blue bottom so you can’t see any clarity, which is unsafe

Staff were really friendly! Great atmosphere. My grandkids really enjoyed the swimming pool and splash pad. We loved the fishing pier! Would definitely plan a trip back.

The location is great that it is not too far from home (obvi depending on where home is)but also that it is near water. The bay is calmer for kayak/SUP- among the other fun options to rent & enjoy the water. This is an ideal spot for young kids with the splash pad, pool & other games, plus the staff does some additional small scavenger hunts or sometimes they have planned activities. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The cabins are nice and clean, as are the public bathrooms if you are tent camping or have a smaller camper. They have one yurt, tent camping, camper camping, and a few cabins- and more to come. There is very few large trees though, so keep that in mind to bring shade. It is a small area, so not spread apart sites. Also the cabins switch between having a stand up grill or a low campfire, which we wanted the campfire experience, so need to keep that in mind when booking a cabin. Pet friendly! We brought our cat, she went kayaking for the first time, idk if she would review that as 5 stars, but she would say 5 stars for the cabin & outdoor deck which was he favorite feature.
