The park is large and wide open, lots of amenities if you don't mind the park being out in the middle of nowhere. The bathrooms are clean, complimentary trash pickup and friendly hosts made our stay very enjoyable. No cable television, wireless internet, but no streaming. We enjoyed our stay, didn't mind the drive into town, lots to do. Kudos to the staff!

Always a pleasure to stay at this KOA! Such wonderful friendly staff and always a lot of fun activities to do. Breakfast delivered on Sunday is a plus.

It was a great stay n a cabin. Everything was very nice n and around the cabin. It's a great place to bring our dogs they enjoyed the dog park.

We had such a great time! Cabin was clean and wonderful! Perfect supplies provided! Park was absolutely perfect! The staff were all so friendly! We loved every minute of the trip and were sad to leave! We are already planning our return trip!

This is our favorite campground. This park has something for your whole family. The kids love all the activities that they hear. With the nice pool, splash pad, foosball table, ect. If you are looking for a nice fun get away this is the place. You can order pizza and have it ready for you when you arrive. They also have a breakfast pizza available or if you prefer they have a pancakes.

We stay there about 3 times a year. We love it. So pretty and peaceful. The grass was cut everywhere and not a single sticker! Great job. Just a wonderful couple of days!

Las instalaciones nos encantó, todo muy limpio el asador en cada sitio nos gustó mucho, seguido hacíamos carne azada Hay muchas actividades para niños y adultos y el precio es razonable. El personal muy amable lo recomiendo ampliamente definitivamente volveríamos a ir. Nuestra estadía fue por razones de trabajo, pero me gustaría ir por razones de vacaciones.

Hand soup container missing a lid. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash all look like been in that container for 20 years.

We enjoyed the stay and their amenities. Friendly staff and clean park. Our only comment would be to get replacement horseshoes and replace the plastic tips on the shuffleboard push sticks.

Grounds were nicely kept. Staff was very friendly. Loved the elevated observation deck overlooking the bay.

Marsha, Alyssa, and staff were all friendly, helpful, & accommodating! Amenities are the BEST here! Fishing pier and pool were favs. Park and all spaces are kept neat & clean. Sunday morning Pancake Breakfast was delicious! We will definitely be back!

I have stayed here several times, and I am impressed by the facility, the cleanliness, and the way they maintained the property 24 /7. Every person I have met that works here on site. I’ve always been very polite and helpful.

The hospitality and curtesy of the staff is outstanding. They are kind, understanding and very helpful. The site is very clean and well organized. The events put on during our stay were great for the kids. Outstanding site. Dog friendly!! I will be back to see you guys again!

Relaxing and fun things to do for the kids. Music on the weekends is great. Did some fishing and although the trout were to small to keep it was great.

Would have put 5 stars except the description stated a queen bed and we had a double bed. Otherwise a very nice place. Having Hunt's Brothers pizza onsite is a pleasure.

Great campground, nice location and plenty of things to do. As always the problem I have is speed of vehicles traveling through the park. Way too fast.

Loved it, the cabin was very nice. Some little things could be worked on like kitchen utensil also a more comfortable sofa…but all in all very nice. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Grounds are clean , staff work hard to keep it all looking pleasant. Thank you!

The Port Lavaca KOA is a true hidden gem and absolutely the destination! The views are amazing, the campground is spotless, and the staff is so friendly. You’re just 15 minutes from groceries, yet it feels peaceful and quiet with a beautiful bay breeze. There’s so much to do here—it’s impossible to be bored. We can’t wait to come back!

Very well maintained rv park staff was very nice and restroom/showers are very clean. Very nice stay love the Matagorda bay our spot #137 backing up to bay was so beautiful and very relaxing loved the Saturday band they had thanks Koa Campground �ϋ��ϋ�

As always, love this campground. The bay is beautiful! Some shaded sites. Campground staff very nice & helpful. Hunts pizza is great. Plenty of activities for campers. Showers are kept clean!

The location is great that it is not too far from home (obvi depending on where home is)but also that it is near water. The bay is calmer for kayak/SUP- among the other fun options to rent & enjoy the water. This is an ideal spot for young kids with the splash pad, pool & other games, plus the staff does some additional small scavenger hunts or sometimes they have planned activities. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The cabins are nice and clean, as are the public bathrooms if you are tent camping or have a smaller camper. They have one yurt, tent camping, camper camping, and a few cabins- and more to come. There is very few large trees though, so keep that in mind to bring shade. It is a small area, so not spread apart sites. Also the cabins switch between having a stand up grill or a low campfire, which we wanted the campfire experience, so need to keep that in mind when booking a cabin. Pet friendly! We brought our cat, she went kayaking for the first time, idk if she would review that as 5 stars, but she would say 5 stars for the cabin & outdoor deck which was he favorite feature.
