Gorgeous Gulf views, flat and level sites, and facilities are very clean—the owner and staff take pride here. The on-site grocery store is well stocked and the pizza is delicious. Don’t miss Fishville Trading Company for shopping and great food (meatloaf yum)—plus bargain Amazon returns are upstairs.. The main town also has some solid places to eat. Check out Scully' for a great waterfront

This place is the perfect spot for a KOA! I love how quaint it is. Perfect size. It looks like a fun place for the kiddos. I went off season so no kids around and very quiet. Just amazing. Loved the staff! Thanks Melissa & Jackie. ���

Very disappointed with the condition of the pickleball court. And the hot tub was broken a few days after we got there and I was told that they would not be repairing it. These 2 things was a big part of why we chose this KOA. The campground was nice and our site had a beautiful view and it was a very quiet and peaceful stay.

Nice friendly, clean KOA. Can't say anything negative about this KOA it's self. The only negative would be the people camping in a corner of the resort that had 3 or 4 dogs that would bark at anyone walking or driving by.

Nothing wrong with the park very nicely kept,staff was great, price was ok, the big downfall for me was the location it is 21 miles away from port lavaca nothing around to see without driving 40 miles round trip. Should be called port Comfort. Deceiving location.

This was the cleanest park I have ever stayed at. Staff was very friendly. Laundry room was exceptionally clean.

We LOVED to come here, this last visit well there was a worker that kept threatening to call the sheriff while we were sitting outside relaxing and talking .. as if we couldn't even talk or laugh.. we were respectful of quite time she still told us to be quite that we were being to loud.. 2 days in a row... there were other people around outside thier campers.. but i dont know when we will be back

We love our frequent campers! As for the noise complaints (2 nights in a row) quiet time begins at 10p and when other guests bring it to our attention (via text) it has to be addressed. We want all campers to have fun and their comfort to be respected. Hope to see yas back soon. Safe travels

We always enjoy our RV stay at KOA. The staff is very friendly, helpful, and keeps everything clean. There are activities for the kids and we feel very comfortable just letting the kids go! We look forward to at least one night of pizza made to order. This is definitely a good place to relax and enjoy the family!

We were happy with our stay outside of the WiFi not reaching our site, and when we had neighbors that had several dogs that barked all day long and I was told by staff that nothing could be done unless they barked while we were trying to sleep at night.

The lake front site view was just amazing from my RV. Everything was so clean and organized. The staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome! The distance is only 1 hour from Sargent Texas so that is perfect! We are planning on returning soon.

We needed a time to get away and relax. The cabin with a water front view was perfect. My wife and I have wanted to get away for awhile and discussed renting a house or cabin. The Kampgrounds are well maintained and the beautiful cabin was perfect for a couple to relax and unwind. We enjoyed the professional and courteous staff. Overall, I will look forward to our next stay with KOA Port Lavaca

Gotta pick a favorite part of the stay... The pier! Wait…the breeze! Nope, fellow campers. Well…the facilities were super duper clean. Ok, we decided: the staff!!! What a wonderful group of folks that come together to make a truly awesome stay on some of the prettiest land in the Lone Star State!!!

It was clean, the staff were friendly and put on a 'Friendsgiving' meal, which was super nice. The weather is terrible. It was 80 degrees and 95-97% humidity. If the weather had been better, we would have taken advantage of the amenities. However, hours after I checked out, I got 10 missed calls, a voicemail and multiple texts asking me to vacate ASAP. They were confused, and I got no apology

The Port Lavaca KOA is absolutely wonderful! The grounds are impeccable, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the views!!! You simply cannot beat the morning sunrise over the bay!! There are various spot choices to suit the needs of everyone. So many activities for all ages! And the atmosphere is unparalleled. We would recommend this campground over and over!

Very nice park. Well maintained and lots to do. Only problem is, as with many parks is enforcement of rules. Several dogs off leash and watched a person not picking up after 3 large dogs. Also of leash. People drive too fast through park.

The park is large and wide open, lots of amenities if you don't mind the park being out in the middle of nowhere. The bathrooms are clean, complimentary trash pickup and friendly hosts made our stay very enjoyable. No cable television, wireless internet, but no streaming. We enjoyed our stay, didn't mind the drive into town, lots to do. Kudos to the staff!

The location is great that it is not too far from home (obvi depending on where home is)but also that it is near water. The bay is calmer for kayak/SUP- among the other fun options to rent & enjoy the water. This is an ideal spot for young kids with the splash pad, pool & other games, plus the staff does some additional small scavenger hunts or sometimes they have planned activities. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The cabins are nice and clean, as are the public bathrooms if you are tent camping or have a smaller camper. They have one yurt, tent camping, camper camping, and a few cabins- and more to come. There is very few large trees though, so keep that in mind to bring shade. It is a small area, so not spread apart sites. Also the cabins switch between having a stand up grill or a low campfire, which we wanted the campfire experience, so need to keep that in mind when booking a cabin. Pet friendly! We brought our cat, she went kayaking for the first time, idk if she would review that as 5 stars, but she would say 5 stars for the cabin & outdoor deck which was he favorite feature.
