We loved our well maintained campsite! We absolutely loved that there were activities for the children. Our girls participated in the painting event and thoroughly enjoyed their train ride!! The pool was fabulous. And the girls loved getting a pizza to eat on the patio overlooking the bay! The restrooms were clean and stocked. The staff were friendly and helpful. We loved the Sunday morning breakf

The lady at the front desk was so sweet and friendly. The kids had a great time on the train ride around the park. Hot tub was not working because they were putting a new one in. � our stay was great though.

Staff, cleanliness,, and accessibility AWESOME!! Everyone was so helpful and polite. I would give it 10 Stars!! Everyone here was so helpful, I can't wait to go back!

I stayed 3 nights at Port Lavaca KOA and I have to say that it is an extremely clean and well kept campground. The sites have a lot of space and have everything you need. I travel alone with a small dog and felt really safe. Best of all - literally no traffic sounds. I will highly recommend this place.

We held our 2nd Annual Family Reunion at the KOA. Once some minor bumps were handled we had a fabulous weekend. Victoria was a wonderful help with anything we needed. It is a great place for a family reunion!!

Loved the park. It was very clean and the sites were excellent. The power box's were very clean and easy to use the the sewer hook up was placed in the perfect spot. Loved the dock they had for fishing and the office had a general store to get anything you need in a pinch and the ladies were very nice. We will most definitely be back. Thank you KOA Port Lavaca

Facility great. Most staff friendly and helpful, but not all. Facility is about 18 miles away from town. Great pizza. We dont camp with children, but this place would be great for them.

Great campground. We got a spot next to the water with a patio. It was awesome spot with lots a things to do. The heated pool, fishing pier, live music made the stay amazing.

Our cabin was clean and comfortable. All the staff was friendly and helpful, relaxed and walked the campground safely. Enjoyed the swimming and the lookout decks.

Probably the best KOA we have stayed at with the most amenities and activities—good selection of adult beverages and even a pizza parlor on the property. We never tried it, but frequent campers told us it's very good. It's just too bad that we didn't have better weather, but we may be back before the year is over! Highly recommend. Oh, lastly, the pool was great and at a perfect temperature!!

We had such a wonderful time at this KOA! The staff was incredibly polite and helpful—especially Allyssa, who was running all the Easter events, the boats, and the food. She was amazing and absolutely deserves a raise! The amenities were fantastic, and there was so much for the kids to enjoy. I also really appreciated the indoor activities offered throughout the day. We’ll definitely be back!

It is a great campground with lot of activities for the kids. Friendly staff, very clean facilities, ample site. Bathroom are clean, daily trash pickups (several times a day). Camp store well assorted. Only downside: arcade machines needs an upgrade. 100 recommended. Will return soon!

Wonderful staff and very helpful. The property is very nice. We look forward to staying here again and again and again. This will be our go to spot for camping. The only thing I would like to say is for them to have the bird poop cleaned off the chairs before we arrive. Four out of 6 chairs had bird poop. It was on the part of the chairs that your back goes against and the arm rest of the two.

A little piece of Paradise on Matagorda Bay. Lots of activities. Loved all the areas to sit & look over the bay. Very friendly staff and clean facilities.

Always a pleasure to stay @ the PL KOA. Our grandson loved the crafts, horses that came for a visit, the jump pad and the splash pad. Never a lack of things to do for the young or old.

We stayed in a cabin over spring break. The cabin was clean, the showers were hot, and it offered everything we needed. We loved all the amenities that the campground offered. So much fun! It was great to have pizza as an option there on site as well. The whole place was clean and all of the staff were very helpful and responsive. We are already planning to come back again with friend.

The location is great that it is not too far from home (obvi depending on where home is)but also that it is near water. The bay is calmer for kayak/SUP- among the other fun options to rent & enjoy the water. This is an ideal spot for young kids with the splash pad, pool & other games, plus the staff does some additional small scavenger hunts or sometimes they have planned activities. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. The cabins are nice and clean, as are the public bathrooms if you are tent camping or have a smaller camper. They have one yurt, tent camping, camper camping, and a few cabins- and more to come. There is very few large trees though, so keep that in mind to bring shade. It is a small area, so not spread apart sites. Also the cabins switch between having a stand up grill or a low campfire, which we wanted the campfire experience, so need to keep that in mind when booking a cabin. Pet friendly! We brought our cat, she went kayaking for the first time, idk if she would review that as 5 stars, but she would say 5 stars for the cabin & outdoor deck which was he favorite feature.
