Well kept, clean campground with outstanding views and extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. It is definitely a great place to "get away from it all and relax" as it is in the middle of nowhere yet Port Lavaca is about 20 minutes drive away.

This was our 3rd or 4th visit. Staff have always been great. We will be coming back for sure. The only thing we would like to be diffrent is to have trash cans for campers to use. No ones wants to keep trash in there the campers over night, if we set it out at night critters tear bags up and scatter all over the place.

Wonderful site, so many amenities and everything was so clean. I was just tent camping and would definitely stay again.

We were suppose to have a partial shade back in site. We had no shade. Plus someone else charged purchases to our account which we did not discover until after we were back home. The pool was very dirty on July 3rd. It was closed on July 4th until after lunch as they tried to clean it. The playground needed repair work.

Thank you for choosing Port Lavaca KOA. If you return book your site the with office they can help find you the perfect site! Apologies for the mix up on the store charge, it has been corrected. Pool is closed (hour at a time-frequency depends on weather& # guests) to maintain proper chemistry.

great 4th. july celerbration fire works wine and snacks pancake breakfast. lots of things for kids to do splash pad and more the owners are the greatest and the workers are too very helpful. they have pizza and wings in the cantina for$$ the office/store has a lot for a campground. we liked it so much we reserved again cant say enough great KOA

I cheked in at site #302, internet was fair, just worked NOT working,,, anything wasn't 302 in fair,, not working,, stay there a month, fine else where !!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

One WIFI tower was hit by lightning and fried the electronics causing severe damage across the network, Our ISP showed up right away and installed temporary solution (while waiting forever on new equipment from China) that temporary solution was not as good,sorry for the inconvenience

This is about the best KOA as they really care about their campers. For the Holiday weekend had lots of extra offerings like s'mores,a band, snow cones and love you can get pizza and wings.

Cabin was hot and we had some bugs and ants in cabin bedroom had a bad smell thinking it was A/C like a mold smell.. Other then that it is a very nice place to stay, We were here last year and stayed in RV rented by Campsite. We decided to upgrade due to RV was also hot and had a septic issue. Hopefully we will come back after we purchase an RV., TY!

The staff was so nice, and all the activities were amazing but we were in a tent and the site that we got was without shade or tree close to set up the tent under. No recommended for tents at all.

Was so peaceful we enjoyed the different sceneries everywhere and we’re definitely bringing back our extended family in August activities were offered for campers throughout the weekend. Wonderful place to chill.

The KOA itself has great activities for families but the surrounding area does not. I would not recommend coming here unless you like to center your activities at the RV park. The pool is small and not supervised so many of the pool rules aren’t followed making the pool even more crowded and not accommodating. Overall an okay park but wouldn’t return to the area.

This was an awesome stay! The staff was friendly, our room was very clean and comfortable and the grounds were free of trash. It was one of the cleanest campgrounds we have stayed in!!!

Stay was fine but info on the site should state how far from the camp is actually from Port Lavaca.

What a wonderful stay! Awesome KOA and the staff is very nice. Love the communication through text. The only thing that would be cool is an ice machine where after hours you could buy ice but we were warned when closing. Thanks y’all for the wonderful stay!

family fun from a 3 year old to a 68 year old = making wonderful memories- nice and relaxing.. Always pleasant campers there and the people that work there are always over the top awesome. The remember you, treat you special, honest and always there to make your stay the best! We caught some crabs which made my grand children excited.

The campgrounds were exceptionally nice, we had a spot right on the bay. The restrooms were extremely clean. The office attendant was very helpful and accommodating, five stars for her services!! We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

Professional and friendly staff. Everyone was willing to help with smiling faces. The camp ground was kept clean and the bathrooms were spotless. Great place for children to run around and explore the many fun areas. The swimming pool is kept cool by a water chiller which feels great when the Texas sun is beating down on you.

We went the first weekend in June and it wasn’t crowded. That made it almost perfect. Staff were very nice. Place was very clean.

We had a great time. The staff was excellent and so welcoming. Great place to go with plenty activities to keep the fun times going.

Such a great place to get away for a little trip. Fun things for the whole family to do. Pool was nice, splash pad, pickleball, basketball court, fishing pier just to name a few.

Had a great time in the yurt. I would probably opt for a cabin or rv in the warmer months but we hit it just right. Bathrooms we not to far and they were well kept. The staff were super nice and helpful. I didn't catch the younger staff girls name but she needs a raise, she was back and forth all weekend and usually in a slow run, and made a great pizza..👍
