Nice clean park. Weekend events to keep busy. Sites a little close together but still had good time

very pleasant 3 week stay. the only negative is it's kind of out in the boonies and the wifi was not real reliable. swung from 65mbs to 13 all the time. very friendly staff. heated pool was great. will definitely consider staying again sometime in the future.

Stayed in one of the cabins. Very comfortable and could cook as we liked. We ate at a couple of nice restaurants in Port Lavaca. Good fishing in the bay.

It is weird the office is not open 8-6 like most KOAs we go to. The gate situation is strange and we wish there more lights there also. Otherwise it was very nice.

Thank you for reviewing! You'll find in your travels it is common for seasonal businesses to have "off season"(Dec,Jan,Feb for us)hours. Weekends,holidays,and in season hours (Mar-Nov) are 9a-7p. The absence of light pollution is by design for peace @ night & star gazing. Gate security is a plus!!

We've been on the road since Sept. 21 and mainly staying at KOA's. This is by far the best KOA we have stayed at. The staff is friendly and very competent. The only thing that could improve this campground is availability of cable TV hook-ups.

Stayed in 105 which provided more privacy than the waterfront sites and the wind was less. Beautiful place to stay to get away! Great facilities and the staff were exceptional! Hope to return next year.

Love the location. Staff very helpful. We needed to extend our stay and they were able to arrange it so we could stay in the same site. Pizza is Great!

This is an amazing spot! The staff is really friendly and just very helpful. Love the views, the dock fishing, the way they cater to whatever you need. I love the fact that you can't find it if you're not looking for it.. you see what I mean when you get there.. the night sky is awesome. Just a really nice two weeks I really didn't want to leave..

This is one of the best KOA we stayed at! It has everything for the young and old! Games, club house, pool, hot tub, outdoor movies, activities, and so much more! The staff were soooo wonderful and helpful. We wanted a place away from the crowds and this is it! Still close enough to town for supplies. We will hopefully return for an extended stay. We were on the bay and just beautiful! Thank you!

Although only a overnight stay, your park was by far the best this season! Staff was amazing pizza was great park is beautiful!

We visit at least once a year. One of our favorite KOAs. We are retired and usually stay during the week. My only issue with this last stay was the mowers fired up at 7:30 am. We understand property maintenance occurs mid week, but not sure has to start this early especially in January.

Beautiful park, well maintained with a friendly crew. I appreciated the upgrade to a concrete patio, especially when it poured rain. The facilities are all nice and clean. Great all around.

Awesome stay! Exceptional staff. Very courteous and helpful. We were there for 3 months and loved every minute of it. The KOA was always clean. I recommend the Port Lavaca KOA to all travelers. Looking forward to my next visit!

We were very pleased with our stay. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. The grounds and facilities were very clean. Loved the waterfront with walking space and chairs and swings to rest and view the pelicans on the water. The pizza and wings were good and a handy meal.

This is our third time visiting Port Lavaca and we really enjoy it. Enjoy all the amenities and the staff every visit. Don’t change any of the firework plans for next year, it was a perfect plan to bring in the new year. See you guys soon!

Really love this campground. This was our first New Year's there our other visits were different times of year. Loved the refreshments, the music and the fireworks. Our campsite was perfect and enjoyed being able to have a campfire. Do wish that county road was a little wider getting to the campground.

Stayed for a month,bay view site 135, becareful on this site backed into tree at site,busted ladder.(ugh).inside staff great,pizza great, site not level maxed out my levelers in back. Fish do bite but plan on many hours before you catch fish,big one are there. Good stay would stay again

Beautiful, well maintained,clean. KOA on Matagorda Bay. Beautiful beach. Breazy but nice in the heat. Hot tub, heated pool. Plenty of games to play, etc. Staff is very devoted. Location is off the beaten path, which is great!. Though 15min away is Wal-Mart & town. The other direction, 5min, is a very nice Dollar General.

Wonderful well maintained, clean laundry, cleaning before arriving was a but neglected (poop), and that 1000watts light at the back deck of the office is pretty bright for the closer site.
