Absolutely love the Kamping Kabin at this KOA! It has all the charm of a KOA Kabin (swing, fire pit) but also the linens provided and a comfortable queen size bed! We will definitely be back again!

Great friendly hosts/owners. Bathrooms were clean with great showers. Pool was a bit chilly, but clean. Cabin was nice with comfortable queen bed. Shades did not close adequately so I would suggest curtains.

We stayed at the one and only cabin they have. The restrooms were clean, everything was good but the due to the unfortunate location of the campground it is very very noisy- even during the night.

The restrooms were nice. The tent sites were nice to accommodate a family. The cabin was comfortable and clean. The hookups at the trailer site worked well. Overall very pleasant stay

Very organized and clean. Good access to the interstate. Stayed in the one cabin available-it was great to have linens and towels available. We would definitely return to the campground.

Pleasant helpful team - pretty campground - the only downside, weak WiFi!

Very friendly staff. The firewood they sell is the best I’ve ever purchased. This KOA is very clean and organized. The showers are great, nice water pressure and an amazing shower head. Thank you very much for the courteous, relaxing and professional atmosphere. We will be returning for our future getaway.

We enjoyed our cozy cabin! Linens were provided! It was also very clean. I loved the rainfall shower; it was a wonderful hot shower! They also have an abundant game room!

The manager was so nice and helpful! He took time to show us where the cabin is and where the coffee machine is, etc. He was EXTREMELY cheerful, helpful, and fun! Suggestion - he says they'll be getting more cabins. I suggest you do the usual cabin setup - one queen size bed and a set of bunk beds. And you don't have to provide linens - we brought our own sleeping bags. IT WAS WONDERFUL!

Very positive experience for a Journey KOA. We stayed in a cabin which provided linens, and a queen size bed. The entire campground was well maintained with a decent playground. Clubhouse had games, books, puzzles etc. close to interstate and attractions. Would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were fantastic and very attentive to making sure my stay was awesome. I was going to tent, then I saw the cabin. The host quickly started the air conditioner and made sure I had what I needed. It was a windy day and she even scraped the pool of its leaves before I jumped in. I Love that pool!

Stayed in the couples cabin. It was unique compared to other Kamping Kabins we have used in the past. Hosts supplied linens and everything else we needed. Grounds were clean, bathrooms were modern and well kept. Great spot for aa quick weekend get away.

Easy to find off of I-10. Very friendly staff. Clean restrooms. Always try to stay here on our trip to/from California. Well placed so you can choose I-8 to San Diego or I-10 to Los Angeles.

Good place to stay to visit the local area like picacho state park or the casa grande ruins. The roads in the campground get pretty dusty so slow speed is a must. The size of the paw pens is a little small to be useful.

A very nice KOA located west of Tucson, Arizona and east of the I-10 and I-8 intersection near Casa Grande. Very close to Pacacho Peak mountain trails. Swimming pool is heated, very large room inside with seating, TV, games and book exchange. The host and owner was very friendly and accommodating. A very nice young man led us to our RV spot and made sure we had everything we needed. Level gravel sites and nice large lots. Very will priced! Also private RV spots with decks and fencing. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you for welcoming us.

After several days at Picacho Peak State Park without full hookups, arriving at Picacho / Tucson NW KOA Journey felt like the kind of reset you do not fully appreciate until you need it. We arrived a bit early while the office was closed for lunch, but the large parking area out front made it easy to pull in, park, and have lunch without any stress. Once they reopened, check-in was smooth, everyone was friendly, and being escorted to our site was a great first impression. Our site was a large pull-through with full hookups (everything worked flawlessly), and even though you do not choose your own site, we ended up in one we likely would have picked ourselves. Site 69 was under a huge willow tree with a wide view over nearby farmland, and watching cows and horses grazing gave the whole stay a calm, open feel right away. The willow tree also provided real shade, which made a noticeable difference during the day. The biggest shift for us was how easy everything felt. After being without water and sewer, having full hookups again made this stop feel less like a pass through and more like a place to actually settle in and recharge. The gravel roads and gravel sites were straightforward to navigate, and the park felt very big-rig friendly with plenty of room to maneuver. Sites are well spaced and easy to pull into, with a layout that feels open rather than tight. It was also noticeably quiet. Despite being close to I-10, it felt surprisingly peaceful, especially at night, and with very few people around us it was easy to relax after more active stops earlier in the trip. From a family perspective, this KOA works really well. There is a playground, a dog park, and a large jellybean-shaped pool that gave the kids space to play and unwind. The rules for children were clear and reasonable, like staying with an adult and no playing after sunset, which helped keep the environment safe without feeling restrictive. One of the most memorable details was their “follow the rules, get a cookie” system. On our way out, our boys ran into the office to let them know they had followed the rules and came back out with cookies in hand. It was such a simple idea, but it made the experience feel personal and stuck with them more than anything else. We also had a bundle of firewood delivered right to our site, which was convenient and added to the overall ease of the stay. Overall, this is a great example of a stop that does more than just meet basic needs. It is practical, quiet, and well run, but also has enough thoughtful touches to make it feel welcoming and memorable. It works well for both a quick overnight stop or a few days to reset. If you are traveling through this part of Arizona and want a place where you can recharge, enjoy the stop, and feel genuinely welcomed, this is absolutely worth it.
